I can't describe how much I enjoyed my experience working with Megan Brown. Her floral arrangements were gorgeous, and she was able to include more flowers than originally proposed because we came in under budget. I LOVED my bridal bouquet and the cohesive elegance of all the flowers for the full bridal party. Megan was able to incorporate my favorite two-toned calla lilies while making the entire arrangement look lush and natural. Delivery was punctual and easy, and her set up in the reception hall looked wonderful. The lantern centerpieces were the perfect match for my vision of Megan communicates well, through both email and text, and is flexible with payment schedules. I highly recommend her floral and event planning expertise!

Jessica was my day of coordinator and our wedding day was perfect!!! There wasn't any hiccups at all that day, well at least none that I knew about. Her and Dustin were fabulous and on top of it. I was a pretty organized bride and I didn't mind doing a lot of the planning so I didn't feel like I needed the partial planning services, but it was helpful knowing someone was double and triple checking all my contracts. She reminded me of the small important details. We met a week prior to the rehearsal and she made a precise timeline, she was able to put me at ease and I was able to trust her with everything. Jessica also handled our rehearsal, great. My bridal party loved her, and listened to anything she told them to do. I explained to her exactly what I wanted and she executed it perfectly. Mary was FANTASTIC!!! I’m so thankful we went with her!!! She does BEAUTIFUL MAKE-UP for a great price!!!! All of my bridal party, including myself and my Mom totaled 11 girls had their make-up done. Mary also brought her wonderful assistant Brianna to keep everything on schedule and we were done early! Mary is so accommodating, and even did a free trial for me in October. I had so many compliments on my Make-up that two of my Bridesmaids want to book her for their weddings in 2018. Thank you to Mary for being wonderful, sweet, and puncutial!!! Thank you Priscylla for all of your hard work at our wedding. She did hair and makeup for 6 bridesmaids, bridal hair/makeup, and mother of the bride. Had an out of town wedding, in San Diego. Marie and her crew stepped in and stepped up, when answering all our requests. Her suggestions for florists and caterers turned out great! She went above and beyond when she offered to store and then deliver our reception spirits and give away’s. Not planning anymore weddings in San Diego, but would have no qualms, contracting and using her again. Thank you, Marie and Staff.

I am soooo late writing this - about a year! I hired Hienny for my wedding last April 1, 2017 Hienny was great to work with and really understood my vision. She came to my home for my hair and makeup trial, which I did befrore my engagement photos. She also put together a team for the day of the wedding to do hair and makeup for my whole bridal party - 9 bridesmaids and my mother and I. It was certainly a circus with a few tiny timing hiccups - but considering the sheer workload we were all very happy! Everyone looked beautiful! I definitely recommend her - she's easy to talk to and understands all the latest trends and has a well stocked kit. Now that I have moved to Newport Beach and closer to her I will be calling her for events! I'l try to uplaod a few photos if the sizing will alow me. Thanks again Hienny!

I loved every minute working with Lauren/Golden State Events. She was so personable and she brought so many amazing ideas to the table. She took all my needs and wants into consideration and gave them a little nudge to make my day even more dreamy than I could have ever imagined. She perfected every detail,was professional and responsive throughout and made sure not just myself but entire bridal party was taken care of. We had EventSpell decorate and manage everything for my bridal shower and they did a phenomenal job! I was blown away at how great the tables and centerpieces looked. The wall that was decorated was truly spectacular. It takes someone with a great sense of imagination and design to have transformed the area from an empty dull clubhouse into a Great Gatsby themed shower. I was awestruck by everything because it felt like I was stepping back into time. I could not have asked for a better shower and Ishita did a great job with everything! I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning a party, wedding, shower, etc!

I found Tasha on Tumbtack after spending several hours researching other Image Consultants and I can not be happier ! I needed help with getting an outfit together for a wedding I was attending, plus just wanted to sharpen up my image over-all. I am an interior designer by trade and, dealing primarily with high-end clientele, it is very important that I look professional, elegant, current, unique and still maintain my own personal creative flair without breaking the bank. If I calculate how much money and time I wasted on returns and ill-fitting clothes I want to cry ! It was a very worthwhile investment for me. I think her rates are reasonable; what I ended up spending on her consulting rate saved me more than double on good quality items that were uniquely tailored to me AND we stayed well below my budget. I was also surprised by how many wonderful items she "shopped for" in my own wardrobe. She put together things that I would never of dreamed of so effortlessly and with so much enthusiasm and tact that I can't wait to work with her again on my winter wardrobe! I have gotten so many compliments since then and, just yesterday, I wore one of my Tasha outfits and was told that I looked very chic at one of the high-end furniture stores in the design quarter where I shopped for a client. I look and feel so much better and can confidently go to any meeting without deliberating and agonizing for hours about what to wear. It was worth every penny and she was amazing with feedback and questions. Highly recommended! Thanks Tasha and hooray to whomever invented Image Consultants! She's a keeper.

" In planning my wedding, my goal was to find all the perfect details to make my special day one to remember. I had gone through a TON of flower consultations before I talked with Megan about doing my wedding party arrangements. After discussing my vision with her, it was clear that she was on my page with what I was searching for! I really appreciated being able to throw ideas around with her until I found exactly what I wanted through her suggestions. I didn't get any particular style shoved to me like the other florists had done a couple times prior. It was a joy to work with Megan and her staff to make my flower arrangements the most beautiful ever. Every idea that she came up with was so creative and spot on with my fall rustic theme wedding. Megan has such attention to detail and creativity in her design ideas. If it wasn't for her knowledge and passion to make the best creations possible, I wouldn't have found the perfect look for my wedding.     Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more. A wedding event coordinator can help you keep track of these details, overseeing the planning process and managing everything on the day of your wedding.     A wedding planner is a professional service provider whose job it is to organize and execute all the details of a couple’s wedding. A wedding planner can be contracted at any stage in the wedding planning process to help to any degree the couple is willing to pay for. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner. When looking for a wedding planner, be sure to read reviews, and make smart hiring decisions by asking about licenses and insurance.

    How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

    A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place. Also, extra details, such as managing food trucks or setting up snacks in addition to the meal, will increase the cost.

    What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

    When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

    • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
    • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
    • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
    • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

    Do you have a portfolio? Ask to see photos of their favorite weddings, especially if they’ve managed any that are similar to what you have in mind. This will help you see if you like their style and if their ideas seem fresh and creative.

    Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

    Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

    • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
    • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
    • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
    • Helping the bride and her wedding party get dressed and take photos.   
    • Checking floor plans, lighting levels, cake placement, menus, favors and more.
    • Collecting the wedding gifts and keeping personal items safe and accounted for.
