When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!

Jake helped me with training advice and nutrition advice when he used to live in the UK, before he moved to LA. His information has really helped me, both in terms of improving health and fitness levels. He is incredibly motivating and inspiring - and he was so keen to help me as an individual and find out what would work best for me. I didn't like 'traditional' exercise, like endless runs or boring gym machines - but Jake could find ways to mix it up, keep it fresh and interesting, and I even managed to have fun along the way! I would definitely recommend Jake as a personal trainer to help you achieve your individual health and fitness goals.

when I first went to the gym Barbara gave me the complete tour when finished she said she was going to have one of her top senior fitness trainer :). a couple of days before I came in she called me and introduced herself and welcomed me to the gym. told me her schedule and checked mine with hers to make sure that it was good for me. when I finally came in Ronnie was already in session my fault:(, I was a lil late . she came over to me and started to work with me. she's very caring knowledgeable always looking out for me not to hurt myself and such a good hearted person and we're also from the same country!!! how great is that? I really enjoy my sessions with Chris - he’s calm, collected and listens to what you want out of a personal training experience. He’s also really encouraging and constantly challenges you during the session - while always watching and correcting any moves that aren't right. I enjoy the workouts – the time flies by and we have enough rest in between sets that I felt strong and enjoyed my session rather than collapsing in a sweaty heap – but boy, did I feel it the next day! Chris focuses on resistance with me. I would highly recommend Chris.

It's been a year since I started working with Derek. In this one year I've learnt a lot from Derek in terms of overall fitness, exercises, right postures, nutrition and so on. He does due diligence with your current physical state and tailors the exercises according to what is best for your body. I'm very happy that I choose Derek as my personal trainer as his recommendations and training has helped me be in track to achieve my goals. More than a trainer Derek has become a great friend of mine. Along with the exhaustion I look forward to the great conversations we have at the gym.

During these past 4 years Charlie's exceptional training program has kicked the late middle age out of my body and given me a second shot at 40. Lee is an absolutely fantastic trainer! I am one of those people who starts something and quits pretty quickly. I had a baby and was in the worst shape of my life. I was nervous about getting a personal trainer for fear of being judged, not being able to keep up with the work outs, or the age old fear that nothing would change and I'd be stuck the way I am. Lee changed all that for me. Our first session he was easy on me, but still pushed me to do a much as I could. Then we built from there. He encouraged me to not only work out, but change my eating habits for a healthier lifestyle. He was always respectful and got to know me. He figured out just how far he could push me. As a married woman, I appreciated that he asked about my husband and never made me feel uncomfortable. I began feeling better and more confident in myself and my abilities. The only bad part about Lee is that he can't make the 4 hour commute to Memphis to continue training me! Seriously though, extremely professional guy who is dedicated to getting you to where you want to be and helping you to see that you can go further! I highly recommend him to train you no matter what stage you are at in your fitness.

Kelly helped me get into shape right before I became pregnant. She helped me focus on a work-out plan that fit well with my goals and what I wanted to achieve. She also customized a monthly meal plan exclusively for me and my interests. I couldn't be more happy with her dedication to push me when I needed the drill sergeant trainer, but also balance it out and be supportive when I was not feeling well or sick and needed to take things slow. Another plus factor with Kelly is that she LOVES dogs. We incorporated workouts that helped me focus on myself, without feeling guilty or losing out on time I could spend with my dog outdoors. Kelly is super professional, educated and experienced in personal training. I would recommend her to any of my closest family and friends.

I highly recommend Luis as your personal trainer. I am a female who has worked out with him for over a year now. He promised me I wouldn't 'bulk' up, but rather slim down and get more toned. Carolyn is not the run of the mill trainer! She is a different kind of personal trainer who actually cares about her clients. She evaluated me as a whole person: personality, habits, diet and mental state. In one week I felt results because she understands my body type and ability. This is the first time in my life I have ever enjoyed fitness to the point that I actually look forward to each session. She is one of L.A.'s best without a doubt.
