Dana is a truly talented yoga teacher. As a somatic psychotherapist in training she has a deep interest and understanding in the human body and how our body, mind and spirit are all connected. She brings this to her profession as a yoga teacher and continuously pushes me to new levels every time I'm in her class, whether that be a more advanced asana or becoming more in touch with my inner needs via movement. She's also a joy to be around, and a lot of fun :)
David is an excellent psychotherapist, I send him many referrals and get great feedback from clients.
I was Sebastian's client for 8 years. I have not worked with him for 5 years now but will gladly do so again when necessary. Sebastian's practice centers around authenticity. He works with you to develop an understanding of your authentic experiences and feelings and helps you to evolve this into a healthy, vibrant framework from which you can approach the world in a confident and loving manner instead of in a fearful and reactive one. Your problems don't go away but you become better equipped to face them as well as the greater challenges to come, rather than hiding in addiction, fantasy, or denial. While ultimately satisfying this is not easy work. Sebastian approaches the process with tremendous love and compassion but also favors pushing and encouraging you to move forward rather than coddling you. He also leans more toward the Humanistic school of psychology rather than the classical one which means that he will bring in his own personal experiences as part of the process, discussion, and frame of reference. This can be enormously beneficial but may not work for everybody. It worked for me because our background and trauma were similar and as a result I was able to trust the process based on example rather than theory. A balancing act is inevitably required when the Therapist brings his/her personal experiences into the process. How much of this is relevant, helpful, or appropriate? Sebastian is a willing collaborator in this balancing act and is open to hearing if you think it is too much or you would prefer a more neutral approach. Collaborating on that balancing act was also great practice for me to define and hold boundaries. Sebastian also practices Trans Personal psychology which means that the work you do with him extends beyond your individual identify and experience and embraces spiritual, and cosmic dimensions. It is my personal conviction that any healing practice be in therapy, 12-step program, or personal development will by nature have to encompass a spiritual element. There is no healing within the individual mind at all for the simple reason that it's resources are limited and it's context inadequate. Other things I like about Sebastian is that he has heart and he has a sense of humor. He is also a flawed human being and fortunately will not try to hide behind a veneer of spiritual tidiness. Though Sebastian worked well for me and many others, he is not for everybody. Check in with yourself about what approach feels safest and most appropriate for you. Hopefully this review helps, whichever direction you choose.

I believe therapy can help you feel more connected to yourself and those around you. My expertise is helping people who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and issues of identity. I have particular interest in working with young women who are dealing with issues around anxiety and depression. I work with adolescents (14+) and adults of all ages.

Life's unfolding path can sometimes be scary and confusing, but you don't have to walk that path alone. I can help ground you in your experiences while we explore the twists and turns which can make life so exciting. Many of my clients say they have difficulty in their relationships as a result of anger, anxiety or depression. These feelings manifest in a variety of ways, some of which may be seen as addictive behaviors or ways of thinking. I've come to understand that these feelings and experiences can be symptoms of old wounds or trauma. I have a deep capacity to hold these feelings in a safe and non-judgmental way. Together we will work to help you learn new ways to diminish and expel anger, anxiety and depression. I also provide support for those struggling with relationship, spiritual, cultural, sexuality and LGBTQ issues. I work in ways which complement a client's goals and personality. This may range from client-centered empathic listening to a more directive or cognitive approach as well as mindfulness and hypnotherapy. In my work with clients, I hold a holistic framework which looks at the primary parts of a person and how they relate to one another. These primary parts are the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects, which make up the whole person. This framework also supports the models of integrative medicine and complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM), by working in conjunction with other practitioners and modalities.

Perhaps you are struggling with your partner right now, having the same fight over and over again, or longing for an intimate relationship and feeling frustrated in your search. Maybe you are struggling to find meaningful work and a greater sense of direction in life, feeling like you are stuck and floundering. Or perhaps that despite everything you know about healthy nutrition, negative feelings about your body continue to be a source of pain. I work with relationship issues, "quarter life crisis" transition, and body image concerns. I see individuals and couples, as well as adolescents. My approach to therapy is to help people gain access to their truth and authenticity. Through a collaborative and active therapeutic relationship, I endeavor to help clients more clearly identify what they want in life and the barriers that may be standing in their way. We all have developed ways of being in the world that have served us in some ways, but limited us in others. In working with these beliefs and patterns, we allow for something new to emerge, and develop our ability to relax into our authentic self.
