Dana Rolland is by far one of the greatest caterers, culinary designer and consummate private dining professionals you'll come across. Without a doubt, the value provided by Dana and her spectacular team was immeasurable. The food, the service-level by the server, bar tender, chef, and of course, Dana herself: all top-notch. My annual event was scheduled for 4pm (way too early- go for 6pm or later for a Sat eve in December) and never have I felt like I can retreat from the common/party areas to get ready, shower, get dressed any earlier than 15 minutes before guests arrive due to last minute prep, but Dana took the reigns; She knew where and what details to fine-tune, and gave me the peace of mind to know my home, the food, and all preparations would be handled. If you're looking for the "go above and beyond to service the client" attitude- pick, Dana. The staff was clean, respectful, accomodating for guests and very well-spoken. Outside of service-level, Dana's rates are beyond fair. Look no further for event and catering service. We host this same event on an annual basis, among others and plan to hire Dana again and again. Simply: I can't express how much I appreciate Dana and her staff for delivering a five-star event.
We had such a fabulous time at Chef David Gussin's pop up dinner. There was the perfect mix of beautiful ambience, great music, friendly people, and of course the incredible four course meal, which was acommpanied with Chef David's signature complimentary craft cocktails. Cannot wait to attend his next pop up dinner!!
Will's heartwarming demeanor definitely shows through in the food he prepares. This guy truly cooks with his heart and you can definitely taste it! From warmed olive goat cheese to lamb chops in cherry wine reduction, Will is able to prepare food of expansive tastes and caters to you, specifically. Additionally, he is exceedingly personable and really seeks to please.
His knowledge was amazing. He was able to breakdown, in an easy to understand way, the science, and the art of cooking. What was also great was that he didn't just teach recipes, he taught the different principles of cooking and because of that I can create great, delicious dishes from scratch, not matter what I have in the fridge. My mind was blown when we covered salads. I didn't know there was another side of salads that made it more enticing and more high class. (see picture below) Overall, Chef Know-It-All is an amazing, artful chef that has the ability to make others fall in love with cooking. He's patient, insightful, and heavily invested in the student's progress and success. Every question I had, he answered. And every hurdle I had, he helped me get over it. Oh and did I mention it was fun! He taught me some flair tricks that the professionals use to make cooking fancy. Now I'm flipping sauces, cooking with big fires, and sprinkling flourishes left and right! I simply can't enough. 5 out of 5 stars for me.
Ray with Sutton Design creates amazing, tasty food that is healthy and filling! He is capable of feeding 100+ people and knows how to season his food so everyone loves his dishes. He is also very responsive to the needs of the guests - vegan, vegetarian, Ayurvedic ~ he can do it all and has done it for the groups that we host at our Retreat Center. I can personally say that I have experienced his menus and I look forward to each time he is here to cook! You won't be disappointed if you hire Sutton Design. Ross was our chef for two weeks during our vacation in Los Angeles. The food she made was absolutely delicious. She fulfilled our desire to make the food healthy and super-tasty. It was eye-opening to us that the healthy food could be so delicious. She made gluten-free brownies and cookies that our kids just loved. For the main meals : she made these healthy and filling salads that were just wonderful. She was also very friendly and supportive for all our requests. We will definitely ask her to cook for us when we go to LA again
