At first I was a little nervous about training outside of a gym. However, from our first meeting, David made me feel very comfortable. Now, I prefer the one on one training without the gym noise and other people. David creates a weekly plan made just for me instead of a one shoe fits all approach. My starting bench weight was only 65 and now I'm already at 120! Training with David doesn't feel like a drag, but rather an exciting journey of self-improvement. I look forward to my weekly sessions and even more to the dramatic results. David is more than a trainer- he's an inspiration.
Aaron Valizan has been my brother, Shawn’s personal trainer and “life saver” for a couple years. Shawn was a NCAA two time Men's rings gymnastics champion, and was a personal trainer himself up until he had his 2 strokes. Shawn is only 55 years old. A few years ago, had two strokes which left him incompacitated and unable to: • Read • Remember anything • Walk on his own • Eat his meals without help • Make it to the bathroom • Remember where is living He has stayed at two Skilled Nursing Homes: San Marino Manor for 6 months Glendora Grand which is where Shawn has resided for two years. I decided that Shawn needed someone who could relate to his background and understand his illness and physical handicaps. It was very difficult for Shawn because he did have a vague memory of being a PT and thought he still had clients that he worked out with. I started researching Personal Trainers in his area and found Aaron Valizan. He was highly recommended, and I also found out he had 10 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting, so I set up a time for him to come out to Glendora Grand convalescent home to meet Shawn. They hit it off right away. Shawn was actually smiling for the first time in years. I started booking their appointments. Shawn showed progress after only a few weeks. Then, Shawn caught MRSA, which is a highly contagious disease. He was transported to Inter Community Hospital where he was put into an isolated department with a private room. Aaron visited Shawn (wearing scrubs, gloves and booties to protect him from contracting the disease). He immediately lifted Shawn’s morale which in turn got him to start to eat. The hospital staff was really impressed with how well he worked with Shawn. Aaron started organizing some training sessions for Shawn for when he returned to Glendora Grand. Within one month, he had Shawn out of the wheel chair and walking on his own (Shawn’s disease was gone). Every time Aaron walked into Shawn’s room, his fact lit up and he was ready to “go work out”. When Shawn was feeling better, Aaron decided to sign him up at a local gym, giving Shawn a lot more to look forward to do. His symptoms improved on a regular basis. He remembered that he had appointments at a gym and could not wait to go. I could not be more happy! Today, Shawn has improved on a regular basis. Aaron has kept up their appointments at the gym and coming by to work with him at Glendora Grand. Shawn looks forward to every appointment. Honestly, I have been so impressed with Aaron and thrilled with the amount of time and patience he takes to work with Shawn. I think we are beginning to see “The Light at The End of the Tunnel” and hope that Shawn will improve on a regular basis. I cannot thank Aaron enough for all that he has done for my brother. I highly recommend Roger to anyone interested in group training, personal training, or for any fitness goal that anyone may have. Roger really dedicate his time and energy to his clients to makes sure that the workouts are always invigorating, safe, fun, and never repetitive. I can guarantee there are no limits to his workouts; the word impossible is not in his vocabulary. I saw results within the first two months of working out and really enjoyed the energy and support from Roger. If there were more stars to give I would give him more!

I worked with Margo over the course of about 5 months and had a great experience. I had already been exercising consistently for a while but Margo helped me bring my fitness to a whole new level. He created a personalized workout plan that incorporated the things I wanted to focus on: functional fitness and MMA. Throughout our time together we also modified and tweaked my workout to focus on my weaknesses. He was always available for questions and delivered on his promises. If I didn't have to move away I would still be training with Margo, and I highly recommend him to any of my friends who want to push themselves past their comfort zone.

My experience with Emmett overall has been great and I got to say he has made fitness into a lifestyle for me. I reached out to Emmett when I knew I had fallen off my fitness routine. When I started training with Emmett I didn't have much muscle mass. I got to say after training with him the first month not only have I seen improvements on my legs and back strength but overall putting on some weight. From that month on, I got my cut and lean around my body and he helped me clean up my diet. I am very thankful for his help and highly recommend him!

I started training with Laura without prior experience in fitness training. I felt very comfortable with her. Laura is an amazing trainer! She motivated me to eat healthier and to push myself during our sessions. It was a great experience. She is an inspiration.
I am a mom of 2 and I was really having a hard time finding time to work out. Vanessa has helped me by creating a workout plan I can do at home. She got me started on the online program which is so great! It shows me videos of the strength training exercises so I know exactly how to do them. She also meets with me once a week at the gym which has helped tremendously since I have never used weights before. The meal plan is also great, she is showing me what good foods to put into my diet to get the best results. Overall, I have really enjoyed my time with Vanessa she is always available and answers all of my crazy questions and her price is unbeatable. I really can't imagine training without her.
Marcos is amazing. If your looking to get fit and find your inner strength, both physically and mentally this is your guy. When I started to train with marcos i was about 5 years out of shape. In less than 1 year, I was able to complete my first ever 5k run. Marcos is professional and truly has a passion for fitness. You need to give him a try, his training is beyond excercise, it's a genuine mental and state of mind transformation!
First off let me say I was skeptical about finding a personal trainer after my last one didnt even know my name or any of my goals after training with him for six weeks. That being said, I am very happy with Tommy and the SoFit SoCal team! They are everything a trainer should be and more! Nick is my SoFit SoCal trainer but Tommy oversees all as well. I've already signed up for my next set of sessions and am really excited to continue training with Nick and Tommy. They've been so helpful and informative. Can't recommend them enough!
I went down to the Gym in Ontario . everyone was very friendly and welcoming . I had a tour of the gym and everything from lifting equipment to the boxing and other fitness equipment was explained and how it could help me reach my Goals in fitness. Also had a Training session with Pro-Fighter Rick, awesome teacher and I had a lot of Fun. The Prices weren't bad at all, Manager Chad sat down with me and explained everything and how monthly prices reduced down with different packages including Personal Training sessions for Muay Tai with Rick . I joined the UFC gym same day and was very happy and looking forward to the New fitness achievements that are to come. I recommend to those who are thinking about it to go down to the Ontario Gym and see for yourself its worth it . -Moses
I’m 38 with 2 kids, and before I’ve met Adam I was already a fitness junky. But he made me change my perspective and my “bad” gym habit completely. Adam helped me understanding the importance of correct postures. I really like Adam professional style and positive coaching. I’ve discovered muscles I didn’t even know excited and I gain a very healthy gym routine. And training with Adam was always really fun and I’ve never gotten bored he really does transmit his passion positively!
Janet is a fantastic trainer! I have multiple issues with my lower back and my sciatic nerve. She knows how to modify work outs to accommodate my limitations so I can still get maximum benefits! She definitely motivates me to to keep pushing myself and not let my limitations hold me back from my fitness goals! Jaybee has been training me for the powerlifting meet this coming June. I'm still new to this whole thing but I'm getting amazing help from Jaybee. Jaybee is very patient. He takes his time explaining and demonstrating how each move is correctly done and makes the appropriate adjustment to my form when needs correcting. Jaybee takes into consideration the certain movements I cannot physically do and modifies the workout that assist in the rehabilitation of my weakness. Overall, Jaybee is an enthusiastic and encouraging trainer. He makes me want to keep improving myself.
I remember stumbling upon Chris down a hallway at the 24hr fitness, I noticed him for months as a fellow member, he said he offers training and asked if I would like a free session. I was neglected to say yes for the fear of being judge by him for being big, and out of shape. I took a chance not only him but myself, I will never forget my first session with him, I worried about how I look in front of others almost embarrassed, what i wore, if I cant do things right. He made me see past that, its about feeling good and getting strong. He told me baby steps, the first day I thought I was going to die, As i kept up my training sessions with Chris. I felt myself getting stronger, i go home with a little more confidence then the day before, I get a little more lighter on my feet, I find myself when we do boxing I get a little competitive. I want to do more to make myself and Chris proud.
I always come out learning more and doing my workouts properly. Josh is great at queuing proper technique as well. Very motivational as well.
