Actually I didn't meet the LadyMarry coordinator and florist, until the rehearsal day, because I was planning my wedding remotely in New York. They are very responsive and patient to my endless questions, and did a great job about organizing the rehearsal and communicating with the other vendors. I always saw Melissa and Donna running around. Hiring you was the best decision I made for my wedding. Thank you!

We were extremely happy with Taneva Events. We wanted a simple but elegant wedding in Hawaii and Velina at Taneva Events provided that and more for us. She worked with us on everything from the smallest detail on the dinner napkins to working with vendors on logistical details, setup on the day of the wedding and ensuring our day was perfect. We did not have a clear idea of what we wanted to do for our wedding besides the fact that we wanted to keep it simple and take advantage of the natural beauty of the setting. Velina was really helpful from the start, brainstorming ideas with us, and making suggestions for the decor that we would have never thought of on our won. We did not want traditional flower centerpieces, and Velina was able to accommodate us by creating beautiful pineapple centerpieces, and tied them all together with the runner, candles, handmade napkins, and pedestals that she placed the pineapples on. Everybody complemented the decor and the bridal bouquet that she created from traditional Hawaiian flowers. We could not have had such a beautiful and smooth day without Velina's help. Planning for a wedding is always stressful, but Velina eased a lot of our stress and was always a pleasure to work with.

Recently attended a rehearsal dinner for a wedding. The rehearsal dinner was as big as the wedding and went off without a hitch. Great food, professional staff, beautiful tables and buffet added up to a PERFECT event.

DJ Danny J was the DJ at our wedding. He was excellent! He played a variety of different music that incorporated oldies, goodies, and current hits! Everyone of all ages ans stages were able to get up, dance, and enjoy the music. Danny made a point to subtly check in with us (bride & groom) at appropriate times to see what we wanted to hear or do next - we really appreciated that because it helped us keep the wedding day unique to US!! DJ Danny also brought the photo booth which was such a hit. Finally, not only was DJ Danny J's music amazing, but he was a fabulous MC. He has a way of getting people captivated and involved. We love DJ Danny J!!

A Starr Event created the flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres for my daughters’ spring wedding. Anita responded quickly to my inquiry, worked with us to select the various elements we wanted, and provided a reasonable quote that fit our budget. Anita spent a lot of time reviewing our selections, discussing flower choices that fit our color scheme, and she proved very knowledgeable about what would be available (and affordable) for my daughter’s special day! We especially appreciated Anita’s commitment to using locally sourced flowers, her assistance delivering and setting up the arrangements, and special touches she included in the ceremony space on the day of the wedding. The flowers arrangements were beautiful, the bouquets were just what my daughter had in mind and we received many complements from the guests! Working with Anita from A Starr Event, was an extremely pleasant experience.

While MaKenna has been pursuing her wedding planning and coordination business for a year and a half at full throttle, her poise and professionalism makes it seem as though she has 20 years of experience in the business! She has a calming demeanor that is exactly what I needed as a stressed bride with a busy job and little time to plan my own wedding. We started working with her a year before our event and she was there to help coach us every step of the away as questions arose. She returns emails, texts and phone calls promptly, puts care into every bit of communication, and anticipates bride/groom needs in a way that's nothing short of impressive. Due to my husband and I's planning, we actually ran out of booze the first few hours of our wedding. But fear not! MaKenna guided our staffing team to make a Safeway run during the event, informed us (the bride/groom) of the extra purchase so it wasn't a shocker later, and our guests never even noticed. That's one of many examples of how MaKenna knows how to solve a problem without it ever turning into an issue. I also wanted to point out that she's great in handling varied bride-groom opinions. My husband and I didn't agree on some things throughout our wedding planning process and every time we had differing opinions in front of MaKenna, she calmly suggested solutions that met both of our concerns or pointed out if something didn't need to be discussed further, i.e. move on to the bigger ticket items vs. over-discussing details. I appreciated this as it helped us with momentum in our planning. I'm super confident that MaKenna's business will continue to thrive in the years to come! Thanks, MaKenna!
