Makaan helped me immensely for my upper cervical issues as he brought to light my poor posture being the major culprit. The Pranayama yoga plus the Gokehale posture method was a huge help in reducing my discomfort. I continue to do my posture exercised daily. I would strongly recommend Makaan.

I took a yoga class for age 50 and older with Nava. Mostly beginners. She did a fantastic job of introducing us to yoga at a gradual comfortable pace. I loved this class because she was attentive to our needs. Another positive for me was the variety of techniques Nava is familiar with which made the classes interesting. For example, she might throw in an acroyoga session or Feldenkrais. She can tweak a class as needed for your interests! Plus, she helped fix a back ache I had which, both the physical therapist and the chiropractor had not successfully done. Thank you so much Nava!

Maggie taught a nutrition workshop and led a yoga class for our apartment community. For the nutrition workshop, Maggie was very prepared and presented information in a clear and engaging manner. Her knowledge of the material and the science behind the nutrition was evident. I learned so much and I continue to apply her suggestions to my daily nutritional choices! Her yoga class was equally excellent. Maggie created a relaxing atmosphere and led the sequences with confidence. I loved how she engaged with each participant, helping us to perfect each pose and taking time to focus on each individual’s needs. Maggie is incredibly talented!

    I am most impressed with Rebekahs' knowledge of the yogi /yoga mind,body,soul,universe connection. This class was exactly what I always felt yoga should be . Not just another excessive class. Every session we had was an experience and every experience was different . She taught how practicing yoga ,the physical / spiritual practice of yoga can alter ones life.     Owners of yoga studios have hired me to run their teacher's training programs because I am a teacher who makes everyone feel safe, and at the same time, I encourage them to dig deep. My classes are always geared to all levels that nurture beginners and teach the fundamentals of yoga while at the same time still challenge a more advanced student. My flow class is a meditation in movement that focuses on breath awareness and physical alignment. This practice will help you build strength and agility (both mental and physical), increase stamina, focus, endurance and balance. My philosophy is that yoga is not about how it looks, but rather about taking what you learn on your mat into your world, including work, relationships, etc. You will learn coping skills like never before. You'll build a reservoir of patience and compassion and reignite a sense of self-worth and appreciation. I taught in Los Angeles before moving to Denver, and I have 12 years of teaching and more than 20 years of yoga practice under my belt. Both men and women find comfort and safety in my classes. I passed the point of tearing myself apart to look good. Instead, I want my life to feel good, which is what my yoga practice has provided, a sense of confidence and courage that I look forward to passing on to you!
