My first lesson at Allegro Music House with Jonathan was awesome. Jonathan was very articulate in troubleshooting where my pain points were and figuring out exactly where we need to work on first. I will try to remember to update my review as my lessons progress, but as for now I have weekly lessons with Jonathan and I am very excited to continue.
Catherine has been wonderful to work with and my son loves his music lessons! He looks forward to his weekly sessions with her and has found her coaching to be very helpful with improving his voice.
We've gone through 3 violin instructors before meeting Alex. By far he has been the most caring and engages with his students in a unique way that brings out the best in the kids. He gives the kids just the right amount of fun and challenge for the student. If you add parents that equation and engages in the child's lessons and practice and holds their child accountable for practice, it really is a formula for kids success. We can't say enough about Alex and the part he plays in our daughter life and music/violin education!!
Melody is currently giving me piano lessons at her home and I have had a great experience so far! She is very friendly and a great teacher. The lessons are valuable and I feel that I am learning a lot!
We are very happy with the piano lessons Genevieve provides to our 9 year old son and our 7 year old daughter. They enjoy learning from her and they're given lots of choices for what they want to play. She's also very flexible with rearranging lesson times if we have to miss. The recitals and sectionals have been fun and helpful too, and we are looking forward to the summer camp if it works with our schedule. :)
Mary has done a great job with teaching me how to play guitar! I'm a beginner and she has taught me all of the basics and music theory. She's also provided books for me to take home and practice, which has been extremely helpful. Definitely recommend Mary for anyone wanting to learn guitar from a more technical side.
She was very easy to understand and if she wasn't clear she could explain something in multiple perspectives. Calee's work ethic definitely shows. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get into music lessons!
Lane was my son, Peter's instructor for over a year while Peter was playing in the Middle School band. Lane was an extravagant instructor. He had shared his expertise by helping him develop strategies to work forward and learn rudiments in his music. He gave my son the confidence to play well and the determination and support which led to my son performing successfully in concerts and parades. He is now playing percussion in the High School marching band and thanks to Lane, is playing extraordinarily.
Renee is super awesome and helpful with my singing lessons. Definitely recommend.
Karen is not only a well qualified vocal coach, she has a heart as big as her own voice and will support and encourage you every step of the way. I was 48 before I sang solo and only made it because of Karen. I mainly sing Scottish folk songs and have moved back to Scotland. I perform regularly now and recorded a CD! www.madelainecave.com
He is great! I am getting weekly piano lessons and having a great time. Thank you!
The most professional musicians I've ever had lessons from, hands down! The Sollohub teachers have brought me to new heights with guitar and understanding music in general. Not only are they great teachers but they have also become great friends that have my best interest at hand.
Jeff has been teaching Zach for 2 months now, and we have been very impressed and grateful to have met him. Jeff Miguel is very professional and easy to work with. Zach (11) is loving his saxophone lessons, and we think he is learning fast. He looks forward to his lesson every week.
When I started having lessons with Leandro Lacava, I had no clue how to sing. I had never really sung before, my voice was pretty tense, and basically I just pushed a lot. My lessons with Leandro were almost like vocal therapy; there was a solid foundation in terms of the muscles involved in singing, and I felt like I was learning to use my voice in the best possible way. He made my voice do things I never thought it could do! He used very practical exercises and a clear method to give my voice more body, help me stop forcing, and more than that, he made me believe that I actually could sing! And you don't have to be born knowing how; you really can build your voice! Today I divide my singing experience into Pre-Leandro Lacava and Post-Leandro Lacava; that's how big the change in my voice was! And not only that, he's just a great person!
My kid is starting piano lessons for the first time and Brooke inspires her to learn how to play and to improve.
