We love Kay and are so happy to have her working with us on puppy training. She is full of helpful ideas and has been instrumental in teaching each of us (3 teenagers included) how to best train and get the results we are looking for. Each session she brings new information and tools to train with and our puppy just loves her. We are so grateful to have her with us on this journey!

Alex is an exceptional trainer. I have a rescue dog that is part wolf and, particularly as he got into his teens, testing boundaries became exhaustive. I started working with Alex to train my dog as a service animal, but what I've come to appreciate most is Alex's teachings around Leading with Respect. Not only do we learn to develop a relationship from a solid foundation of mutual respect (pup & I), but also what leading looks like in the canine world. This covers everything from having a happy and satisfying experience with the pup to training the basics like greeting people and other dogs calmly, not pulling on leash, and patiently waiting where asked until released. While it's been a relief to have someone who can work with us to shift out unwanted behaviors and cement desired ones, it's been a total joy to see my dog change his patterns and know it's because I've learned better ways to work with him. My pup is genuinely happier for it and subsequently a generally well-behaved teen (we regularly get compliments). He's shifted from being terrified of dogs and people to wanting more of both and remembering to listen. Alex always shows up -- present and listening to what's going on. Good days or not he meets us where we're at and tunes in to what's needed. In addition to teaching tangible skills, Alex gets that dog training and life intersect. Learning to lead my dog's pack means playing with learning to lead more in my life. Teaching him to trust me works when I trust myself. Etc. If you just want tips and tricks to train you dog. Alex has you covered. If you want your dog to show up and work with you, Alex can work with you to show up more for yourself and in your life. What sets Alex apart is his genuine enthusiasm for working together to shift everyday patterns. Patterns that feed into what's not working with my dog, what I want for him, and the experiences I want for myself.

We adopted Chappy last year thinking that he was just a little on the shy side. But just days after bringing him home he started snapping and growling at visitors, and avoiding us. Thankfully we found Scott. He really took the time to help us understand our dog's behavior and how we could effectively influence it in a positive way. He showed us the little changes we could make to help Chappy feel more comfortable in our home and with strangers. Within weeks his aggression was gone and if you met him today you’d never guess that our happy, playful dog was ever fearful or aggressive. We’d recommend Scott to anyone looking for dog training and can’t imagine where we’d be without his help.

The training I have been doing with Bill have been very good. He uses a step by step program and in very consistent in the training. We started with the very basics of sit and down and have built on it. Unlike other training where they teach one thing do it once and then move to another thing, Bill does a lot of repetition which I believe is very important for the puppy to remember. I have also seen the work he has done with another dog that is more advanced as to where I am and I see where I can take my puppies training to. I really enjoy working with Bill and would recommend him to anyone.

Dan has been wonderful with both of our dogs. We had no idea what we were doing wrong. After one session, we have seen impressive results. No longer do we have 2 unruly dogs running the house. Instead we have 2 dogs who are starting to learn patience and manners. Dan was confident he could help us and we are already seeing incredible results. Our aggression and hyperactivity issues have been corrected using very easy techniques and methods that take moments to practice. Dan was patient and understanding and someone who truly loves and understands dogs. We can't wait to work with him more. Thank you Dan! His techniques truly work and we are already seeing great progress after 1 session. We highly recommend Dan!

She is a kind, caring individual. While caring for my dog while I was out of town, she ensured the well being and comfort of my girl. She is also a fabulous cook as I have her fix a few meals a week for me.

My Aussie is a happy, healthy eight year old, but he was always really difficult to take for a walk. He just didn't respond to the leash, no matter the collar or the trainer, and I'd tried several of each. I would come home from what should have been a pleasant walk in tears. Then I found Rick. Now long walks with Rolly are a blessing for us both, and his obedience training has made living with my active guy much easier and more fun. I am sooooo grateful. I've also watched Rick with other dogs. He is a master of his craft. Big, little, tough or timid, he knows how to help them and how to help you, so your bond and time together become more fun and rewarding.

Victoria with Furever Behavior Dog Training is a wonderful trainer. Our dog was a rescue who had lived on the streets and he had many issues. Our dog guarded his food and toys, did not know basic obedience or manners, was not housebroken, did not know to come when called, did not know how to walk on a leash without pulling my arm off, did not know about or like his crate and more. After working with Victoria, we learned how to give our dog the cues he needed to get the behaviors we all wanted. He quickly learned to love his crate as his safe and special place, housebreaking was rapid and our dog learned to trust us. Victoria gave us the tools and skills we needed to be good dog owners and our dog responded positively and swiftly to Victoria's techniques. And, speaking of positive, Victoria only uses positive training methods -- no punishment. And our dog loved, loved, loved Victoria. Well done!

About

I am a college student who loves all types of animals, mostly dogs. I am looking to help out others, so I can contribute to my college tuition. The thing I love most about dogs is that they are nonstop lovers and care about others, oftentimes more than they do for themselves. Dogs always bring me joy and happiness, and I will be very grateful to work with dogs. I do not have any dog of my own simply because I am in college and can't afford any extra expenses, but I do help my girlfriend's family take care of their dogs weekly. So I do have a bit of experience working with dogs.
