My experience with Lane was more then I expected to get out of drum lessons. He has a way of thinking on the spot and breaking things down to make them easy to comprehend for a drummer of any level. His range of styles is broad and he can teach it all. He has a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for what he does, its inspiring. I encourage anyone reading this to grab a session and see for yourself
I was nervous about starting guitar lessons, but chose to try it out with Kevin...thank God I did! He makes it fun, enjoyable, stress free and also challenges you to do more than you think you can. He has the patience to work with someone who may need a little extra help, and the skill to work with someone who excels quickly. I love my time with him, and would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of starting the guitar for the first time, or someone who wants a little help knocking the rust off...he's fantastic!
Jeffrey has been giving my 11 year old drum lessons for a few weeks now. My son has been making great progress and looks forward to his lessons every week. We highly recommend Jeff as a drum teacher.
Stephen has done a great job of showing me the basics of drumming -- rudiments, stick control, dynamics, etc. -- and introducing me to a variety of styles.
He is great! I am getting weekly piano lessons and having a great time. Thank you!
J.R. is an awesome drum teacher. He is patient, and makes sure drumming techniques are mastered before moving on. My son has learned so much from him. I would highly recommend J.R. to anyone!
The people, the environment, & the level of talent are all crazy amazing! From day one everyone at silver sound has been so welcoming. Most if not all of them play almost every instrument known to man. Even the receptionist has a musical background!! They offer one on one sessions & they start at the students level no matter what level that maybe. I take vocal lessons and piano with one instructor and song writing & music production with another. These guys are crazy talented and extremely humble. Their first love is music and it naturally shows. I am able to be my self no matter how crazy it is and they all accept me. It’s like one big family, who are extremely professional, always on time and so very creative. I’ve been looking for a place that can accommodate my needs as a musician & I’m so happy that I’ve found silver sound. 😊
Gary was great. He spent time with my son and had him play for awhile. He determined that because he specializes in beginner drummers, my son would be better off with a teacher who deals with more experienced drummers. No ego involved, just what is best for my boy and what he wants to accomplish as drummer. Gary even made the initial phone call to the new teacher.
We highly recommend Eric Low to anyone wanting to learn the drums, or advance farther along from where they are currently playing. Our son took lessons from Eric for several years. Lessons were a mix of books and free-form. Eric took the time to find songs of interest to go along with the lesson. Eric is personable and professional. Should either of our schedules change, Eric was responsive and flexible, and we kept in touch during inclement weather. It is an added benefit that Eric has an academic background and professionally plays as well. Our son really enjoyed their time together. When the time is right to return to drum lessons, we will seek-out Eric again, with no hesitation!
Michael fit a great deal of curriculum into our allotted time. He was very knowledgeable about Afro-Cuban music. I must admit (being a Cuban from Miami) I was impressed at his breadth of knowledge on the subject. He is not only a top top notch teacher, but also an accomplished musician. I cant wait to continue my drumming lessons with him.
I have had a some other drum teachers and Mike is by far the best teacher I've had. He does an excellent job of building the lessons around the direction I need to improve upon and he integrates new concepts into our lessons very well. He has helped me think like a drummer, something that has been very eye opening for me. Also his analogies are on point.
I met for an initial drumming lesson. Josh attacked some basics, after reviewing my present ability. I was totally happy.
Dino made me who I am as a drummer today. I started taking lessons from him after playing in the "jazz" band in 5th grade and it's crazy how much my drumming progressed those first couple years. By 7th grade, I was the best drummer in both the middle school AND high school!- Well, there was one kid who was at my level-but he took lessons from Dino too!
Joe has been my son’s teacher for a number of years. He keeps him interested and wanting to learn more. He’s patient and excellent at pushing just enough.
My son has taken lessons with Bailey now for almost 9 years. We could not have asked for a better teacher and mentor for our son. He is kind, energetic and has a total gift for bringing out the best in his students. He has adapted his level of teaching for our son over the years and was always ready & encouraging him on to the next level. We are so thankful that our son has Bailey in his life, he is the best role model EVER.
I have over 35 years of teaching experience. Learn on real drums for all age levels and styles. I also offer Skype lessons.
I teach Heavy Metal, Hard Rock drumming, Double bass techniques, rudiments, odd meter, hand/foot patterns, phrasing, structuring a thematic drum part, playing with a click track, reading, power with finesse, fluidity, etc. I teach piano with an emphasis on musical literacy, theory and proper technique. I have over twenty years of experience as both a private instructor and professor of music composition. I hold the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Composition from the University of Colorado at Boulder where I also work as a music instructor.
I am currently a college student doing my undergrad in music at Metro State. I started studying piano at age 8, and I started playing and studying drums at age 10. I started studying with a great drummer, Chad Johnson, and I am currently studying with Paul Romaine and Henrique Almeida (who is now on the faculty at Berklee School of Music in Boston). My rates are very reasonable for private lessons. I teach beginner and advanced. I also teach anything from jazz, hip hop, funk, rock, Brazilian, afrocuban, and pop drumming. Give me a call.
I am a teacher with music degree in Chile. I can make you pay service center for guitar lessons, piano, drums, music reading and Spanish in your home.
My drum lessons stand out from other drum lessons because I focus on teaching you what you want to know, not what I want you to know. I help you learn by associating drums with something you can personally relate to.
We are the largest private music studio & recording complex in colorado Springs, if not all of colorado. Our studios are on average 3x larger than other studios in the city Each studio has a $10,000-$15,000 equipment installation to maximize your learning experience with us. We have given more private guitar lessons than any other teaching studio in colorado Springs. Our studios employ no less than 4 different guitar teachers alone with multiple teachers available every day of the week. We don't gig professionally and teach on the side. Our primary focus is teaching. Our staff have music degrees, scholarships or undertaking other professional development classes every week to not only ensure a high level of teaching but to remain current on the latest teaching strategies, genres and styles. We have been told by scores of clients who have come to us from other teachers that we understand their music, we have fun, and they learn faster. This is rarely achieved with new teachers just starting out who are finding their way as a teacher.
