Melody was great to work with. She responded quickly to my emails, kept me informed about any changes and was very understanding when I needed to change our plans. From my experience, the company seems well-managed, organized and friendly. I love the idea of music lessons in our home and would recommend this company to anyone.
About 8 months ago i decided to finally learn how to play a musical instrument. I'm 52 years old and before starting my lessons with Dorothy I couldn't even read music. Dorothy is an amazing teacher. She tailors my lessons to best fit how I learn.
Jeff has been teaching Zach for 2 months now, and we have been very impressed and grateful to have met him. Jeff Miguel is very professional and easy to work with. Zach (11) is loving his saxophone lessons, and we think he is learning fast. He looks forward to his lesson every week.
I have enjoyed taking piano lessons from Mike Kraus at Golden Music. I have played off and on for many years, and I'm learning a different set of skills with Mike than I was taught previously
Aria and Arpeggios Music Academy is a wonderful, nurturing environment for music lessons. The teachers are excellent on all levels. It is a joy to see our children progress in piano with each lesson.
Conservatory at Home has been great to work with. I booked my lessons with the violin teacher and he is very good! Jen
I'm a musician, composer, and producer. I've been taking weekly lessons with Henry for 2.5 years now; he's the best. Henry is not only a genius musician, but he knows and understands music theory at a deep level, and has taught me so much more than I learned playing 8 years in a symphony band. His lessons are tough. He pushes you to a degree that is sometimes frustrating, but that's how you become good enough to play without thinking.
We love our teacher, Doug! Traveling Music Lessons is the best - I wish all of my kid's activities came to us. That is really convenient. We love this service!
I am a classically trained musician and play several instruments. When my son asked to take saxophone lessons, I went about screening several potential instructors. I sat in on Chris's first lesson with my son and was delighted to see the innovative and clearly fun techniques he uses to help his students understand how the saxophone works and how to play it. I was completely enthralled and realized that if he had been my instructor, I would have truly enjoyed that experience and would have practiced more. My son is very happy with Chris and expects to be taking lessons for some time with him. I highly, highly recommend Chris Ruiz!
She is fun, patient, and smart! She has good energy and lots of talent. Our girls love her, and they've learned so much! Highly recommend her and her studio.
Hunter clearly knows music and is very good at explaining his methods. I'm looking forward to our upcoming lessons. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in bass guitar.
we have been taking weekly lessons from Jason for a few years now. I have noticed a big improvement in my sons saxophone playing. Jason is a very skilled musician and can translate that into easy to understand lessons. He is patient and encouraging with my son.
My son wanted to take flute lessons over the summer in anticipation of school band. David worked well with my kid (who had no musical experience) and related well to him. Really enjoyed working with him, getting to know him a little, and never had any problems. Great with kids, would highly recommend him!
I have been seeing Debra Wilbur now for about 2 years to learn the alto sax. I am an older student, over 50, and have been having the time of my life. What started out as a pipe dream of mine has gone beyond my expectations, all because of my teacher. She has the right mix of not just making it fun, but also effectively teaching at your level, a rare combo. If you are looking for someone to teach you or your child, I can certainly recommend Debra, the only drawback is that you or your child will simply want to keep learning and going further, just as I did... she really is good at what she does..
Our teaching philosophy is to instill a love of music through inspiration. Along with several years of teaching and performance experience, as well as successfully clearing a background check, Musika teachers are also graduates from reputable domestic and international conservatories, colleges, and universities. Musika Music Lessons takes time and consideration in pairing each student with a professional music educator that will help develop an understanding of all fundamental principles in music. We are happy to accommodate each student with any special requests that they may have. We are continuously inspired by each student's focus, determination, and love for music. Witnessing the progression of each student, as well as hearing the results, is music to our ears! We hope that students will be inspired in sharing their talent and knowledge with future generations.
Drew has been playing saxophone for 19 years and gigging for 10. He studied music at Metropolitan State University of Denver and took private instruction from world renowned saxophonist Dave Camp (Al Stewart). Drew's unique experiences provided him with knowledge of more than the mechanics of music. He's also well versed in music business and performance which are often overlooked but imparitive to being a musician of any sort. While saxophone is strongly valued as Drew's path to music, his passion lies in all forms of music for this reason: affecting positive change brings purpose to life, and the positive change music supplies can influence all humans and bridge any boundaries which other mediums might not be able to. Listeners are almost always made up of differing political and religious views, socioeconomic classes, races, nationalities, and even languages; And yet, they are all brought together by relating to the emotions you emote through your music. That is the true heart of why Drew thoroughly and sincerely enjoys music.
