Tim from Havens HVAC repair was one of the best repairman I've interacted with. He checked our furnace our thermostat and was friendly and very helpful. He taught us a great deal about the heating system and was very much safety minded. I asked him for his business card so that if I needed service again I would be certain to ask for him.
Tom was incredible! Not only were his prices great, but his customer service is unmatched. I had an A/C install as well as a furnace and water heater replacement. Tom came in, bust out some stellar work and even helped me with a few other HVAC issues I was having around the house, at no charge! I have already recommended Tom to my sister and gave his info to my real estate agent...and I would recommend him to anyone else. Thanks Tom!
Quick response, very honest, very professional, and very reasonable prices. I'll use him from now on for all my HVAC and clean water plumbing issues.
Reliable HVAC contractors are hard to come by, which is why I'm so happy to have found Michael. He was super responsive and thorough, and had our unit back online the same day! I'm keeping his contact info handy for all my future HVAC needs. I highly recommend you stop reading reviews and just put Michael on your project!
I'm very pleased with the job done by Jesus. He showed up on time -- actually a bit early! And gave the cleaning of my home's air ducts his complete attention. He was very organized and thorough and communicated every step of the way. He took before and after pictures of everything -- such a smart policy since we can't see most of the problem or the end result on our own. It was very satisfying to see shiny air ducts in the after pictures! Jesus promised he'd send the pictures to me and did just exactly that. I would only give two minor caveats to those considering hiring Dr. HVAC: first, count your vents accurately before getting a bid and then make sure the price quoted is for the job you need. I was quoted $190 but ended up paying $240 because I had more than 10 vents. Not a pleasant surprise. Second, this company only takes checks or cash. No credit cards. It wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for someone else. They should state that up front. In all, a great experience. Jesus was wonderful. I would use them again.
Chris from Squeaks was efficient and professional. He diagnosed the problem with my furnace quickly and resolved it within just a few minutes. I would recommend Squeaks to anyone needing HVAC work.
We just had our AC installed by Top Dawg. You can definitely tell that they are professional and have plenty of experience with this type of work. Living in the Green Valley Ranch area, if you don't already have AC installed, it can be challenging to install a unit after the fact. Eric was very creative about his solution regarding how he wanted to perform our installation and it turned out great! His initial quote was exactly the price that we paid for the installation and he was able to get us scheduled within a couple of days of our acceptance of his Thumbtack offer. If I ever need to recommend anyone else for HVAC needs, I'm going to refer them to Top Dawg. Eric and the guys on his team were very professional. Thanks, guys!
Best HVAC company I’ve ever dealt with.
I am so glad I hired Jose to fix my furnace! He was professional and responsive, was right on time and was knowledgeable about HVAC. He gave me an honest assessment of the condition of my furnace, provided an economical recommendation and made a quick repair for a reasonable price.
Came to the house and gave a free quote for replacing a boiler vent that was not easily accessible. Gave them the job and they were there the next day and got it done. Good coordination with when they would be there and how long it would take. Pricing was better than I expected and included a review of the entire venting system. I will keep Comfort Solutions number close for the next time I need HVAC help.
Extremely thorough and a job well done. Don was very friendly and upfront about everything that needed to be done. The price included a basic inspection, cleaning and change of the filter. I would definitely hire him again for service of my HVAC or my air conditioner.
Robert was very responsive and reasonably priced. I'll be using him in the future for all HVAC and plumbing needs. I'd definitely recommend him.
Out of 4 highly rated HVAC guys from Thumbtack who came to my house to give me an estimate, Will was the only person to actually get back to me. He was upfront about everything, was diligent with taking pictures and measurements and was knowledgeable about the process. Will and his workers showed up on time and were clean, polite and spoke perfect English. He was also able to provide insurance information very quickly when I requested it. The worksite was spotless when they left and they took pictures of all the hidden work done in our attic so we could see their finished work. No surprise costs at the end, and they finished faster than expected. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get HVAC work done.
I am happy with the service and installation provided by HVAC Plus. One job turned into two and then into a few more. I will have Rich Philbrick's crew back out in the spring for additional work as well. Rich installed our main home furnace, a hot water heater, a Generac generator, a garage gas heater, and a secondary furnace in the upstairs. Needless to say, I've seen a lot of Rich this year. We felt his prices were fair, the installations were done properly and once on the schedule, the jobs were completed in a timely manner. We are happy with the Amana products recommended which have the stainless steel tubular heat exchanger. It's nice to know we won't have to worry about replacement for a long, long time. There were also service companies Rich subcontracted with; Jay's Electric for wiring the generator, heating, and air, and a crane company that moved the generator to the backyard. Both were very good companies to work with. This makes it easier getting through a project when you know those recommended are qualified and produce quality work. I appreciate that a lot. Thanks Rich and to your HVAC Plus crew.
Matt did an excellent job on our hvac inspection and certification for the sale of our house. He was early, quick and very professional. I will be using Prime Performance Mechanical for all of our hvac work.
We needed central air conditioning for our new home in Castle Rock and we interviewed several HVAC companies before making a decision. We received quotes from: Southwest Heating & Cooling, All Seasons Mechanical, Mr. Cool Heating & Cooling, Parker Heating and Air, and Blue Flame Heating & Air Conditioning. Out of the five businesses, we decided to hire Justin from Blue Flame for the following reasons: 1) Justin was extremely responsive to both phone and e-mail. (I actually found BlueFlame through Thumbtack, and Justin replied almost immediately after I posted the job early on a Sunday morning). 2) Justin had excellent communication, and always called in advance to let us know that he was on his way. 2) Justin did not try to upsell us on equipment that we did not need. 3) The quote that Blue Flame provided was very competitive compared to competitors. 4) Justin actually took the time to come back and perform a free heat load calculation on our house before we even hired him. Only one other vendor did this and they were not nearly as thorough as Justin was. 5) Blue Flame was the only Rheem dealer, and his competitors could not say anything bad about the Rheem brand of air conditioners. By contrast, Trane dealers claimed that Goodwin was unreliable, and Goodwin dealers claimed that Trane was both over-priced and had poor compressor motors. I don't know if either of those claims can be substantiated, but my online research indicated that Rheem units were very reliable. 6) The estimate, heat load calculation, and work order from Blue Flame were all provided electronically, and contained thorough documentation of the work that was performed. Justin used an iPad to document his work as he went and quickly published the results online. Although Justin is licensed in Douglas County, he was not licensed in Castle Rock. Normally this would be a deal breaker, but given the reasons we decided to hire Justin over his competitors, we decided to just pull the permit ourselves as homeowners. (Note: In Castle Rock, this is done entirely online, costs $50, and is issued in under 24 hours). I and am happy to report that Blue Flame passed the town's inspection and that all work was completed according to code. I did use Sun Dog Electric for the electrical work, so I cannot comment on the quality of the electricians that Blue Flame normally employs, but I am sure they would also do fine. We had Justin install a central humidifier for us as well, which his competitors were not even sure would be possible given the small space in our utility closet (see pictures on Yelp). Justin was able to fit an advanced Honeywell unit into the system just fine. Although I won't know how well it will work until this winter, I am confident that we will be very happy with it. Justin took the time to explain how the new air conditioning system works, as well as the humidifier, and the required maintenance for both units. He demonstrated their operation, and provided both manuals to us. In addition, Justin recommended an annual system check, which he can perform for only $49. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of installation and service that was provided by Justin from Blue Flame. If you are currently in the market for a new A/C system or furnace, need repairs, or just maintenance performed, you can stop researching and just call Blue Flame. They're competitively priced, have good products, and provide excellent customer service. What more can you ask for?
All around EPIC was amazing. Fast and efficient but mainly very very systematic in detection to find the issues and then quickly complete the fix. They were extremely polite and professional. Very conscientious about the area they were working and very neat. They were able to complete the job in one that that could have taken several. Very cost effective. We highly recommend this HVAC company and their employees!
Steve was awesome! What a great experience. Not only was Steve fast with his response, he gave great explanations of what needed to be done and examples of why he proposed what he offered. His pricing was in line with other competitors but what sold me is his prompt responsiveness & professionalism. Additionally, I noticed Steve is just getting started and trying to establish his new business. I fully support new local upstarts and he goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy with his service and completed product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STEVE TO ANYONE NEEDING HVAC SERVICE. I plan to use him for my 2nd unit tune up and will recommend him to anyone I know who asks.
Element 29 Mechanical has done several jobs for us which included everything from basic cleaning and repair of our furnace to redoing the entire HVAC for several of our houses. All of the work was done quickly and well. I highly recommend this company.
I repair heating and A/C systems. Also, I do boiler repair and commercial refrigeration. I have been in business since 1970. I am a member of Denver/Boulder BBB.
