We worked with Katherine Fonsella from DeCicco events and cuisine and she was WONDERFUL. We were planning a pre-wedding dinner for about 100 people in the Tarrytown area, but we live in Northern California. We did not know any venues or caterers or suppliers. Katherine helped us find a great, unusual loft venue, arranged all the decor, tables, lighting, and set up the catering from DeCiccos. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, everything went off perfectly. We are so appreciative of all that Katherine did to make our event wonderful!
Laura and Sunflower are excellent! She has great culinary skills and is highly professional. I have my own wedding planning company and use Laura for my own personal events. She can work an intimate dinner party to a large scale cocktail with the same high level attention to detail. I highly recommend Sunflower!
Rica is definitely a professional. I had my hair and makeup trial with her last week and I am confident I am in good hands for my wedding (which is next week!!). Before the trial, I sent her pics and videos of what I was looking for so she was prepared. At the trial, she gave me her expert opinion on what would/would not work and then worked her magic. I'm always a bit weary about having a professional do my makeup because I'm of Asian descent and most non-Asian MUAs don't know how to work with Asian features. I have to say... Rica impressed me! She did some research before the trial and then we worked with each other to get the ideal look for me for the wedding. Rica is also such an honest, trustworthy person. I could tell from reading her reviews and speaking to her via email and on the phone even before we met that she takes pride in what she does and she has experience too. Can't wait to see the final hair and makeup result on my wedding day!! I will post another review after the wedding!
I highly recommend Linda!! She was fantastic and the calligraphy was beautiful. She addressed and assembled about 140 wedding invitations for me. She was super responsive throughout the process and delivered ahead of schedule. She also went to the post office and had the cards hand stamped. I was in between two ink styles and she provided sample pictures and her advice. She provides the same traditional style and service of very high end calligraphers at more reasonable price. I will likely have her also do my place setting cards next. Hire Linda and you will be very happy!!
I recently hired Ultimate Affairs Event Planners for my 30th Birthday party on April 30th, 2016. I needed a bartender and two servers. I was in constant contact with Patrick in regards to what I wanted for my party. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. On the day of the party Patrick and his team were early for their setup, and actually arrived before I did. During the party I asked my guests how they liked drinks and the service and all the responses where positive. Everyone thought Patrick and the servers were very professional, friendly, and efficient. I personally didn't have any problems either and they helped the party to run smoothly. I would recommend Ultimate Affairs Event Planners and I would definitely utilize their services for a future event.
I had such an amazing time planning my wedding reception with Comfort Odubote,she is the absolute best,She's such a sweetheart, she went all out to make me happy, reply to all my texts and calls weather is was 3:30AM in the morning, when i was stress and frustrated she was so clam and all i remember her telling me was don't worry i will take care of it, i honestly couldn't have done it without Comfort Odubote, She made my dream wedding come through and not forgetting the amazing photographer and video guy that Comfort got for my wedding they did an outstanding job, the photographer and video guy stood by my side and didn't give me a chance to complain they were all such nice people, I strongly recommend KC Events, LLC company in a heart beat, words haven't been invented yet to tell you how happy and pleased i am with the way Comfort Odubote planned my wedding, i love you guys continue to shine and make more brides as happy as i am!!!
I started out on the wedding planning process on my own. Towards the end, I started getting so confused and had no idea what was appropriate, what went well together, and how to make decisions. I reached out to Thumbtack for a wedding planner and what a blessing that has been! I immediately clicked with Laura by phone and when we met for coffee, I knew she was the guidance and help I needed. She picked right up and jumped in, learning about us, my personal style, and was a lifesaver. She was available throughout the process for any questions, big or small. She and Kelly are both professional and they know how to get the job done. When meeting with vendors or at the Rehearsal, they would look at my face and know immediately what I preferred. The wedding day went so smoothly. It was all actually a blur of activity going on around me, but I was so calm and relaxed the whole day and I owe it to the trust I placed in Elegant Events by Laura. She coordinated with the photographer for pictures so it went so quickly that we had time to relax and spare before the ceremony and before the reception. She made sure that we ate at the reception and that we had everything we needed. The bridesmaids and I started calling them the planning ninjas. They were everywhere all at once. For example, two of my bridesmaids started walking with me to the bathroom and we turned around and Laura was right there! haha! Elegant Events was worth every penny and my only advice to couples planning a wedding is to hire a planner and if you want the best, work with Laura and Kelly! My only regret is that I didn't reach out to have her plan from scratch! A million stars for them.
Lauren and Justine made not only the day of the wedding run without any faults, but also the weeks leading up to it. From the first planning meeting with Lauren, it was evident to me that the wedding was in superbly capable hands. She took over communication with the vendors and confirmed every single moving part of the wedding to create a master schedule, and then check in every step of the way to be sure that everyone was aware of the scheduling and to get live updates on the status of the schedule. Her organization made it simple for us to understand what tasks we had left to do and clearly showed a plan to execute all outstanding items. I wasn't worried about forgetting any details because I knew Lauren had them all handled and would also check all of them with us while adding her experienced suggestions. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Justine went beyond my imagination in how proactive, cheerful, helpful, and all around amazing they were. Lauren cued each parent and bridesmaid when to walk down the aisle in the ceremony. Justine communicated with our reception venue and helped set it up while the ceremony was ongoing. At the end of the night, Justine was able to pack up all items and make sure everything we needed to return to us got back to us that evening safely. There was no stress in either getting what we needed to the venue or taking everything back home. Due to Lauren's organization with her pack lists prior to the wedding and Justine's meticulousness, there was nothing in question for us. Hiring Lauren was our best wedding decision - we can't have imagined our day running so seamlessly without her and her team. Any prospective couples out there should get their dates on Lauren's calendar and rest assured that their day will run perfectly. We had the most magical day, and not once were we concerned about any planning details. Our vendors, bridal party, and guests noted how organized and smooth the event ran, all thanks to YWbL!
The luckiest part to have a good wedding is to find the right wedding planner. Ani is the one that you cannot miss. A good friend can try to assist you for the day and the plan, but sometimes more help or ideas you get and the busier you get because most people do not know about a wedding. Ani is the one who will turn to be your best friend and think in your shoes, at the same time, she knows what she’s doing and making everything goes as smooth as you can imagine. Ani is smart, sharp, calm, warm-hearted, and sweet. She gives you the peaceful mind that nothing will go wrong because she’s around to help you all she can. She gets things done and is always on top of her game. She’s punctuate and professional. She’s also creative to make your wedding unique and special. She’s flexible for anything you ask for the wedding. So many things could go out of expectations. And there you have Ani who comes the earliest and leaves the latest. She’s willing to listen and cover all the holes. She’s a great communicator. No matter the priest, or a huge wedding party or vendors, girls or kids, everyone loves Ani. She’s very patient. You just love her and thank God she’s there for you. She cheers for you and feels every moment of your big day. If you picture your wedding like all the movies full of romance and fairy tales, then you must have a wedding planner, you must have Ani. Because the real wedding is like a war, you have many things to do but you cannot do on your own, you don’t get enough sleep, you cannot have enough time talk to everyone you want to, there is so much crisis you have to deal with, you plan so well but everything still goes wrong. People could easier get frustrated and even a nervous breakdown for the mixed emotions of the wedding day, happiness, sadness, or you are touched, or you miss the people who cannot be there to share. The wedding day is hard, as beautiful as it could be, but I learned the lesson from my engagement party that I will have a wedding planner for my party. A year and half of preparation for this big day, it has to be perfect. Then, I have Ani and I am so thrilled I found her, she contributed so much to my perfect day. I walked into the reception and everything was exactly I wanted. She just knows, without too much explanation, without the back and forth. If you want to have regrets and more enjoyment for the biggest day of your life, then contact Ani. Her value is priceless.
Words can't express our gratitude for Stephanie and her entire staff. Without Stephanie there would have been no wedding (lol) or at least it felt that way. The entire planning process from beginning to end was so smooth. Stephanie is EXTREMELY ORGANIZED and had every little detail covered. She was very professional and easily accommodated all of our special request. Her attention to detail is impeccable and took great concern with following through each one. She listened to us and made our vision come to life. Stephanie was patient and accommodating through all the hiccups along the way and we are eternally grateful to her. The night before the wedding July 2, 2016 one of our vendors unfortunately did not come through as expected but Stephanie and her team were able to still pull it through. That night Around 11:30 pm I realized that I had forgotten to give Stephanie some items for our early wedding that following morning. She was already on her way to venue sorting out the details and resolving the mishap of our vendors but yet she turned around ,came to my house and picked the items up from me. I was already impressed by Stephanie thus far but when she did that it solidified that we picked the right wedding planner. She is thoughtful of her clients and she went the extra mile to check up on us not because we hired her but it was her genuine acts of kindness and thoughtfulness. We felt so confident we made the right choice of picking Mariage Blanc to partake in our wedding festivities. Stephanie in the process of helping us plan our wedding became more like family to us. For example after our meeting was clearly done she would stay late into the night helping us sort out details going over issues and call almost everyday to find out how we were personally doing and how we were preparing for the big day. She would offer words of comfort to both Sam and I but in particular to me as the nervous bride. Her hard work ethnic is one that surpasses what we and our family have seen. If we could get married all over again without a doubt we would share that day again and the wedding prep process with the entire Mariage Blanc Designs.Thank you and may God continue to bless you all. I have had the opportunity to attend two baby showers organized by One Eleven Events. The owner clearly was able to bring the expecting mother's visions to life! When I entered both baby showers (one was outdoor, the other was indoor) I felt like the theme was brought to life. The invitation, decorations, food, & party favors all matched the themes flawlessly. One Eleven Events pays great attention to detail and clearly takes pride in their work! They think about guests of all ages when preparing food and drinks at their events, which is something that other party planners tend to miss. The games, atmosphere and prizes were always memorable. From my experience One Eleven Events always put the client first and it makes for a great day!
Working with Avision Events and their head coordinator was a pleasure, I had the most overwhelming task at hand and it could not have gone more smoothly and well. I was blown away at the personal detail Avision's staff put into creating my perfect day. They went above and beyond the cost of this event by helping my family members feel comfortable, create a beautiful production, and serving quality food event though I had such a large wedding. Pastor Bryan married us in 2015, and as simple as it may have been, he was completely on point, every step of the way. From our initial meeting, to counseling with us before the wedding, the rehearsal and the execution on the day, he and his staff were so professional and helpful. She is extremely well organized and thought about every detail, even if we missed it. The day we told her we were doing a wedding she organized a personal wedding binder and timeline for us. She was very receptive to our perfect image of what we wanted to wedding to be and look like. During the planning, when we figured out what decorations and extras we would like she would give us a break down of how much time and money it would be to do it ourselves and research how much it would be for someone else to do it... FOR EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. She always gave us options that fit what we wanted and options that went with our theme if we didn't quite know what to do. She was on top of all the vendors and was extremely punctual. We could not have hoped for a better wedding planner. We also attribute our perfect wedding and reception to her.
My fiance and I used Distinctive Visions event Management to take care of our wedding invitations and the service was nothing short of wonderful. I wasn’t entirely sure where I wanted to go with the style for them (we have 6 different colors in the wedding), but Nya was patient and helped lead us in the right direction. I am very happy with the final product, and we didn’t have to do anything except mail them! She worked hard to stay under our budget and was still able to deliver the perfect invitations. I will definitely use Distinctive Visions again in the future for more than just invitations.
Novaoriginal Events was the event designer for my wedding last year. I had seen pictures of her work and decided to trust her with the most important day of my life. From the décor to the flowers to the lighting to the cake, even the dinner menus, it was more than I could have even imagined. She planned every detail which took alot of stress off me! She took my vision and turned it into such a flawless luxury event my family is still raving about it. She was very warm and professional and responsive to what I wanted. So of course I turned to her again to design my baby shower this past July. Again it was a gorgeous 5 star event beyond my expectations. I would recommend her for any event. See my pics below! Chef Antoinette has been catering parties for me for years. From an outdoor BBQ for 20, on father's day to a beautiful holiday party for 80, in a blizzard, she never disappoints. She is so creative. Everything she does is beautifully presented as well as delicious. People are so impressed when they attend my parties, she usually gets a future job from one of my guests. My niece gave her mother 2 weeks notice for her wedding, and Chef Antoinette pulled it off without a hitch. Everything was amazing! I have already booked her for my holiday party in December, don't want to take the chance that someone else will get her first!!
Margarita did an excellent job making our wedding cake, cupcakes and cake pops! All our guests were impressed with the decor and taste. She was professional, punctual and offered some creative ideas. Would highly recommend!
