I hired Rich Stein for my wedding at the Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. Approximately 100 guests and he handled them all with ease, demonstrating the professional he truly is! Totally focused, kept on top of everything! Prior to the event, he was very helpful in assisting me with liquor decisions, among other issues specific to this venue, and answered questions promptly and completely. I had certain liquors set aside for a few certain people, and that went smoothly. I felt totally stress-free knowing he was in charge of everything at the bar. I would not hesitate to hire Rich again, next time, perhaps a catering gig because I hear he is a great chef, as well! Thanks, Rich!

He went above and beyind his normal catering responsibilities. His quality of customer service was exceptional. His food was delicious. He prepares a mean tilapia! I can't even begin to express how much Platter Matters Catering was the logistical backbone of our corporate event. They are definitely NOT just another vendor but a partner and consultant to plan and execute your perfect event. They were willing to make special substitutions to fit our preferences and even shared some fun creative ideas for us. The food was simply delicious; it tasted as if made with love and pride. Our guests appreciated the attention to any serious food allergies. All staff was amazing, and Ivett (owner) was a fantastic resource and helped immensely with the planning process, logistics, and answered my questions at all hours of the day. My pal and I hired Kendall and Gerry to cater our husbands' joint 50th birthday party in Bedford in 2008, to rave reviews from guests. They've since catered two graduation parties for me and another 50th for a friend. Such wonderful attention to detail, from designing signature cocktails to selecting a personalized menu with the freshest locally sourced food. They make sure that not only the guest of honor and guests had a good time, but the hosts as well. Most impressive to me--Kendall joined her staff in surprising our son at his ballgame themed graduation party wearing Yankees tees and caps--despite being Red Sox fans themselves. :-) Every event they've catered has been lovely from start to finish. I cannot recommend highly enough!
Kathy provided drop-off catering for 30 at my private residence following a graveside memorial service for my mother. We asked for the luncheon to be totally vegetarian. Kathy provided a great selection of sandwiches, plus a hot pasta and a hot quiche. Appetizers and a fine selection of desserts were also provided. Kathy was prompt, professional and checked in several times before the event to make sure our plans would be handled correctly. We were quite pleased with all aspects of Kathy's services, and would recommend her to others.
Though we have only just hired Chef Mark to cater my daughter's wedding this coming fall, he has been a pleasure to work with. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable on everything to do with catering a wedding and we are comfortable knowing we're in good hands.
Three Men and A Grill catered my family barbecue over this past month. Their service was outstanding. Very professional and of course the food was amazing. They worked with us every step of the way to make a menu we'd love.

We absolutely LOVED everything about our experience with Outlaw BBQ as they catered our wedding. They went above and beyond when it came to feeding our guests and everything was absolutely delicious. They even made a tray of gluten free macaroni and cheese for us based on just us asking which of our dishes were gluten free for one of our guests, and she nearly cried with excitement--she hadn't had mac and cheese in years. Communicating with Rob was always easy and swift too. The catering they provided definitely was one of the major factors in our wedding celebration being a huge success. AND THE HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS!!! If all I ever ate again was their barbecue chicken, meatballs, and macaroni and cheese I would be happy. They brought their smoker on site and our guests could smell the delicious barbecue before our ceremony even started. We can't recommend Outlaw BBQ enough!!!
This is my first time using Susan Kane and her catering services. We used her to help us with a Broker event for Colliers International. We couldn't have asked for anything better! All I have to say is..WOW, what a great job, the food was excellent and looked so appetizing, Joe at Angelos Market was so much fun and funny he really made this experience unforgettable and a success, it was like eating food my grandmother made when I was a kid. I have a 50th birthday party to plan later this year and I already know who is catering that party and I think I'm going to use there venue this time what a beautiful hall.
