Nadia yoga classes are fun to attend even tho im a guy. She takes her time with each student give that one on one feeling. Nadia is also very sexy in person take my word.

Before I took Jacquie's bubbling and rainbow meditation class, I had no idea that I hold the power to help heal and protect myself on a daily basis. Being empathic, I pick up lots of energy everywhere I go and this can make for unnecessarily stressful and emotional times, but Jacquie gave me the tools to help cleanse and shield myself and stay comfortable everywhere I go. I also love working with the angels to help cleanse my energy and my surroundings - something I had no idea I could do until I took Jacquie's class! Jacquie is understanding, compassionate and wonderful to work with; I highly recommend her class and healing sessions.
I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Neha is such an amazing yoga teacher and wealth of knowledge. Her connection to the students is incredible. I highly recommend her as an instructor both for group settings and one on one.
Paul is a great teacher. I've been taking his class for a couple of years now. He explains how to do each move, so that it is so much easier to understand how to do it correctly. Paul also corrects your posture if you have no objection to it. I used to take yoga classes from different teachers and never knew how to do the exercise correctly to get the most benefit. After all your hard work you do get to rest at the end of the class which is very relaxing and some people even fall asleep. I also love his peace prayer at the end of the class. I believe if everyone would pray for peace on earth we would have one. Prayer goes a long way. In short I highly recommend Paul's class to anybody.
I see Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions. Her gentle, healing touch during Reiki has helped me to relax during my busy lifestyle. Kelly’s vinyasa flow classes are amazing and follow a consistent upbeat flow. Sometimes at the end of the week I enjoy a great restorative yoga class to help me unwind after the work week. I highly recommend Kelly for both Reiki and Yoga sessions.
Shortly after my having my second child and going back to work full-time, I began taking Maria's yoga classes weekly. I needed to get back into shape and to decompress. I went from brand-new beginner to solid intermediate in one year. Thanks to Maria's teaching, I feel stronger, stretched, and more relaxed.
Meredith is a complete joy to take a yoga class with. Her sequences are well thought out and her instruction clear and easy to understand. She is sensitive to the needs and abilities of each individual person and her hands on work is both gentle and informative. She’s very personable and warm and I left her class feeling energized and centered!
Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. He is highly skilled and very true to his beliefs. Susan Zekala
I love Bre's yoga classes! She effortlessly aligns her personal experiences with yogic philosophy, and then uses this as a theme for each class. She challenges students to consider these themes in our own lives, and with the use of color, offers an opportunity for creative visualization throughout the practice. Bre's sequences are creative and inspiring, and offer a perfect combination of effort and ease, no matter where each student is on the path of yoga. I have been practicing yoga for many years and have attended countless classes led by a wide variety of teachers. Bre is among the best!
I never did Yoga and at 69 I thought it was crazy to start but my daughter insisted we go together just a couple of times... so I did and I now I even go without her. All the teachers are kind, attentive and very knowledgeable. I go to the Gentle Yoga class where I try to master the basic poses with the guidance, and encouragement from the teacher and always feel great at the end of each session. It is both a calming and invigorating experience. Another good thing about this studio is that they have several levels and day and evening hours so I always find a class for me. I can't imagine anyone at any level not benefiting from a class at the Brewster Serene Scene Yoga, give it a try
I am a fellow yoga teacher of Casey's and I am always blown away by her classes! So knowledgeable in the yoga while also being very encouraging and compassionate. She has a true love for her students and it shows when she teaches. She creates an affinity with her students where you can't help but to love her! Anytime I get the chance, I'm in her class!! Truly, one of my favorite yoga teachers!
For a long time I've been entertaining the desire to take Yoga classes, but I was very insecure about my level of fitness so I never did. Lucky for me, I contacted Avi and with his knowledge, technic, and much more importantly his no-judgement disposition and fierce cheerleader attitude, I took the first step to what I hope is a complete fitness makeover. Avi exceeded my expectations.
I've taken 4 or 5 yoga classes with James Mokarry, and enjoyed them. I'm already finding myself more flexible. He's able to address individual differences and assist each classmate in achieving their goals.
I respect and admire Cheryl as a professional yoga teacher. Her contribution to my overall health and well-being for the past four years is the reason I continue to take her yoga class. She works hard and always attends to each students individual needs. Definitely try her class, it would be well worth your time.
I love working with Alison! In her yoga classes, she accurately assesses the ability of the participants and customizes the class flow to meet individuals' needs. She constructs a challenging but accessible class that makes me feel energized, strong, and balanced. Alison is excellent at genuinely getting to know her students and connect on a personal level to create a positive and powerful environment.
I began doing yoga for the first time under Emily's guidance and she is a truly unique instructor. I have an incurable case of ulcerative colitis and currently a torn ACL/MCL and Emily was able to put together a plan of progression designed around my specific situation. On days when I was feeling especially sick, she had me relax in poses that often improved my symptoms. She's incredibly knowledgable about her practice, but beyond that, she makes one feel comfortable and at ease while pushing themselves--even in tough situations. This comes from her strong empathy which I think is such an important factor in picking someone to be your teacher. Every single session I've had with Emily has been incredible. Couldn't recommend her more.
Jacquie, I would like to Thank you, for the wonderful Stretch/Meditation class last week. Being able to take a relaxed and intrinsic deep meditation class was so mesmerizing. The sounds of the bowls, your vocals and the smell of the scented oils enhanced the deep relaxation to a place of pure stillness, and I was still alert enough to follow your verbal instructions. What a wonderful technique in relaxation!
Kelly is amazing! On a whim I decided to try out yoga for my first time but wanted to go somewhere that I would feel comfortable and I am so happy I found Kelly. She is an amazing teacher who keeps the classes fun and fresh. She switches up each class and I always leave feeling so refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend!
I have been a student of Deb's for 2 years now, and I can't say enough good things about her. After trying yoga a few years ago and not really enjoying it, I thought I'd give it one more try and I'm so glad I did! At my first session, I was a little apprehensive since I didn't know what to expect but Deb put my mind at ease. She started out with easy stretches which slowly transitioned into more challenging poses, providing modifications along the way appropriate for a variety of skill levels. What I loved most about the class was the reassurance she provided. I had always thought that yoga was about perfection, but quickly realized that it was more about listening to your body and pushing it to a comfortable level. After each session I feel calm and refreshed and have seen a significant difference in my flexibility and posture. I even continued to use her during my pregnancy where she was able to tailor poses to my needs and help stretch my back and legs. She is a terrific yoga instructor and I look forward to working with her in the future!
