I really didn't know what to expect from this company, but I must say I was very happy with Simply Moving. The workers were hard working, extremely professional and polite. My very positive experience with Simply Moving makes me rate them outstanding. I highly recommend them.

82 friends 17 reviews 4.0 star rating 12/29/15 I have a lot of good things to say about Dyno Moving and the movers who assisted me in my recent move from LIC to West Harlem on a gross rainy Thursday morning. I'll start with the the positives before explaining why they were docked an otherwise well-deserved 5-star review. THE GOOD: --Their prices are very reasonable. For 3 movers (very fast, efficient and qualified guys) and a van, I was quoted $75/hour for a 2 hour minimum and a $75 travel fee. I was only moving a studio's worth of stuff, and mostly everything was medium to medium-large sized -- no huge cabinets, sofas or anything like that, so I figured it would be finished quickly. Other companies quoted me upwards of $450 for 2 men and a truck, some were flat-rate or hourly. Either way, it was double the price almost every time. --They're very efficient. The job actually did get finished in 2 hours, even considering the light rain. Granted I went from a 2nd floor walkup to a ground floor apartment, but even so, I was pleasantly surprised. From start to finish -- including traveling from West Harlem and unloading, it took them 2 hours flat, for which I was very impressed. There was no stalling or chit-chatting, and they were loading things on their backs to bring down larger items and heavier boxes, meaning all 3 guys were pulling their full weight in labor. --They were friendly and professional. The movers were generally very friendly and did a great job taping things up and making sure things were packed properly if I hadn't taped it up as well myself. I appreciated their going the extra mile to make sure things were done well. THE BAD: --They were super late. For good reason, I had booked a 9 a.m. move for a Thursday when I should have otherwise been working. I planned on being at work as early as possible after my move, so I needed the move to begin on time. The night before I confirmed with the main manager/owner Alex for the 9 a.m. move. The next morning I waited until 9:30 a.m. before finally calling to get an ETA. No one really knew where the guys were and said they'd call back after talking to the dispatcher. I waited another 15 min or so, still didn't hear back. I called again and was told they were just leaving. I was eventually told it was because there was a ton of traffic, for which I could understand, but I explained that I had been waiting nearly an hour. I don't know if it's because there is no deposit or booking fee that they didn't seem to care much, but there wasn't much of an apology for this, which was really disappointing. If anything Alex told me that I "had to understand...it's the city," and that I "wasn't even paying for this time" which I also found kind of unprofessional. I wasn't heated about the situation but explained to him that while I understood that maybe his movers experienced unexpected traffic that morning, I was incurring a huge inconvenience because my move was starting so late and asked for a discount. He refused and then told me that "we could talk about it later." That didn't end up happening and I paid full price after multiple calls to confirm the movers' ETA and the move starting an hour late. Overall, I was impressed with the actual labor and experience but was disappointed with the management and customer service. I'd probably book again with them again should they offer a similar rate because it could've been much worse.

Great experience with Fair Price, will definitely use again/recommend! They were quick, efficient, and professional (it took them only 25 minutes to load the truck when moving my 1BR apt!). Overall they made moving a little less painful - very satisfied customer :)

Used Great Movers for needed insured labor, moving pieces (some very large & unwieldy) from a penthouse apartment to my own moving truck. Bill was a great team leader, made sure to listen to my concerns about wall damage, and got everything into the truck within the minimum booking time. Their quote was the best of all the insured services I reached out too, especially for a last minute labor need (called Friday afternoon for a move that Sunday morning).

They did a great work moving my furniture around the house through a lot of tight corners and spaces. Jeff was quick to respond and made sure to answer any and all questions I had about their services. They took much care and precaution when moving my furniture, and I would use them again for future moves. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Brig and his team took all of the stress out of our moving day. I'm standing here in my new 2-bedroom apartment, all of my stuff where it's supposed to be, everything in tact, and happy as a clam with how much it cost. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. Couldn't be happier, and couldn't recommend these guys more.

We recently hired Ample moving when my boyfriend and I moved apartments. They were so awesome! Not only was it convenient to book and set up (the price was also great!), but on moving day, the crew arrived on time, treated our belongings with care, and made the whole process go so smoothly for us. Moving is such a stressful experience, and I'm sure everyone has friends and family that are willing to help, but honestly, do yourself a favor and hire a great moving company like Ample that is professional, hard-working, and takes the worry completely out of the process. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Ample Moving for a job well done!

I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Moving and Mitko's entire team. I hired them in late April of 2017 for a Manhattan move from one apartment unit to a different nearby building - Mitko's crew were affordable, professional, friendly, on-time, and got the move done quickly without a single hiccup. These guys were machines - super efficient and ready to work. Moving is the worst thing on earth, and these guys made it a little easier :) Plus, they found a way to fit me in on the next day's schedule with literally only 18 hours notice. Will definitely be using them again for any future NYC moves!

Bertie and his crew were a pleasure to work with! Not only did Bertie respond very quickly to my last minute request for moving labor, but we were able to negotiate a price that fit my budget, which I really really appreciate. He went above and beyond with bringing movers who were strong, fast, and careful. They helped to reduce my stress of move to a 6 floor walk up, and they did so in a courteous, professional, and diligent manner. I highly recommend Bertie and his crew and I would definitely hire them again in the future!

Hired Jason's company for a moving job this past weekend. Extremely happy with everything from the job quote, workers who did the actually move and Jason's follow up from start to finish. From the initial contact to the final item being moved everyone was very professional, curteous, and diligent about doing an exceptional job. I highly recommend using this company and I will be contacting them for any future moving jobs,
