Latest Review: I have worked out at dozens of gyms across the country and this is by far Number 1. The physical gym is great, clean equipment, adequate equipment and a great environment. The classes are fun, challenging and ever evolving, never boring. The trainers are even better. Corey is fun and upbeat, a good trainer who loves burpees and constant movement in his sessions. Great guy. Frank takes a teaching approach to his boot camps, focusing on learning movements/exercises as to have proper form prior to “going nuts.” His passion for Haganah is evident in every class that I have attended. The combat portion of his classes are unlike anything I’ve encountered. He’s fabulous! Brian is awesome! He caters to the needs of his clients better than most. His motivational approach is great and he truly focuses on getting his clients their desired results. He is the reason I get up at 4:45 to drag my butt to the gym! Brian’s classes are part fat melting and part family time as the environment he creates is welcoming and killer at the same time. He always says “I got you”, and he does! If you’re in the market for a gym this is the best place for you! Chad

Latest Review: When I first Mr. Colon from fitness Junky, I thought man here goes another guy just trying to sell me his “workout secret” but after training with him and being put on a very flexible but healthier diet. My lifestyle has improved, my fitness is on a whole new level and even my performance in and out of the gym has spiked increasingly;) if you know what I mean !! I don’t need in between work breaks . He’s a very knowledgeable individual and is very good with his sports programming . Giving me enough volume to work on my aerobic condition and still be able to do my heavy lifting the same day without over doing it .

Latest Review: I train with him 3 times a week. He is very punctual and good at staying on task with me. He is constantly changing up my training techniques to keep the workouts fresh and not boring. He is constantly pushing me to train harder. But he always keeps safety and my injuries in check. I highly recommend him for any and all types of personal training and sport specific training.

Latest Review: As a man in his 50's (who still mistakenly thinks he's 30), I have tried different programs and trainers in the past, to try to stay in respectable shape and to try to keep things vertical. I can tell you that James, of TruePerformance, delivers outstanding, visible results, efficiently and quickly. I started with sessions just once per week (1 hr long), and with only that, began to see results and watched my body change. James is a consummate professional, and it becomes clear from day-one, that he has a formal, 4-year University education in his field. James began by asking me questions. He listened very carefully to what I wanted to accomplish physically, and took great care explaining his philosophy to me and how we would proceed, making sure I was comfortable with what he proposed we do, and always taking extreme care to tell me why we were doing certain regimens. He always made absolutely certain that I first learned proper technique in whatever we were doing, commencing with weight and resistance levels that were very safe and could not injure me, making sure my technique and understanding were correct and practiced, before moving to more challenging levels. This is critically important for me, and for anyone at any age. James planned the workouts in advance, well thought out, with specific goals. We worked different muscle groups that naturally worked together (throughout my body), in a balanced way. In each session, we had goals, and he was careful to give me as much work as I was prepared to push myself to accomplish, improving my strength, conditioning, muscle tone, etc. Most importantly, he is constantly educating me throughout, telling me what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what effects each exercise will have. He has the plan recorded on his handheld and marks actual performance vs. planned performance, tracking progress each workout. He observes every movement carefully and IMMEDIATELY corrects technique if he sees me even slightly off, protecting me from any potential injury, and helping me to make proper technique a HABIT, thereby making each exercise most EFFECTIVE. James is very diligent and he also provides nutrition advice and is extremely positive in the way he teaches, giving great encouragement. Experiencing the outstanding results, I moved to twice per week (1 hr each session), and if I had the time, would move to three times per week. I'm feeling great, my wife and family see the dramatic difference in my appearance. Also, my overall body posture, as a result of the balanced, effective workouts, has improved dramatically. I stand straighter, appear taller, and the stooping I had around my upper back, shoulders, and neck is gone and my muscle tone is very good. James has done an absolutely incredible job with me and I highly recommend him, without reservation, even though it may make it harder for me to schedule my appointments with him, as his clientele grows. Since I began training with James and gotten the aforementioned results, my wife and son have both started working out with James, with similar results. Patrick W.
