My personal trainer Takenya, was hired to help me get in shape. Not from a lose weight prospective, but from a health prospective. I'm in my 50's and realized I couldn't live a long healthy life, without my core, muscles, and hips being strengthened. My trainers help wasn't one dimensional, she worked with my mind, body and soul. She helped me to have the right mindset when it came to my health and that looking good and feeling great, didn't come from the outside, but from the inside. In the short amount of time that Keisha has been my trainer, she has completely changed my view on trainers. I had previously been skeptical about paying someone to tell me what to do while they sat there and did nothing. I was wrong. A truly great trainer like Keisha is more than just the person telling you what exercises to do. She is a motivator, she holds you accountable, but most importantly she is an educator. She gives you every tool you could possibly need to reach your personal goals, and then shows you how to use them by leading by example. I chose Max Sturdivant as a personal trainer due to his passion for the combination of fitness & nutrition. In the year that I worked with Max I lost inches, gained strength, mobility & self confidence. Max taught me to keep a daily record of my food & exercise in order to keep myself accountable. I also learned portion sizes and to shop the perimeter of the grocery store in order to get the fresh healthy foods that were best for me. Anthony is a very professional personal trainer. I've had the pleasure of him training me several times and each time goals were being reached. Anthony takes his time to listen to my goals and what it is that I want to achieve. He explains the course of action that is best for me and my goals, explains each exercise and makes sure that I'm preforming them right along with making sure I use the equipment correct too. Anthony is a no nonsense type of trainer if I have questions and he doesn't have a answer right away he researches and get back with me in a timely fashion. David held a personal trainer class for myself and a small group of my friends once a week. He inspired me to get my health and fitness back on track so that I felt better about myself from the inside out. Our workouts were tough, he pushed us to our limits while allowing us necessary modifications, water breaks, and laughter when needed. He was nothing but positive and encouraging!!!!
Tony Beers has been my personal trainer for over 8 years. I work out with Tony at the gym 2-5 times a week. Tony is well trained, a listener, honest, straight forward, and caring individual. he designs workout programs and healthy habits (diet, sleep, attitude) based on an individual's needs. He will help you set your goals and attain them. Over time and with age my workouts have changed but I have maintained my health in spite of aging. I highly recommend Tony with no reservations. Grif is the best trainer I've ever worked with! He is always on time, prepared and enthusiastic. He is constantly coming up with new ideas. He is an excellent coach who pushes his clients to the best of their ability while keeping them safe and free of injury. I worked with Grif for four years and saw increased muscle mass, strength and functionality. He is the best around. Period.
Caleb has trained me in boxing for the last few months and the results have been very good. I am now in great shape and legitmately have learned the basics and some of boxing. Caleb is an actual fighter who has 10 bouts so far. I would definitely recommend training with him. He is a really good trainer and very personable.
