I decided to try something new this year for my annual Super Bowl Party and I hired Chef Paul and The Dancing Palate to cater my event. Not only was it stress free for me, but the food and the service was outstanding. From appetizers to desserts everything was excellent and all my guest enjoyed every lit bit of it. Not just am I going to hire them again for next year's Super Bowl, but I already started referring them to all my friends. Great Job!!!

Chef David was amazing. Him and his staff treated my daughter's fifteens with such respect and love. He truly became part of the family. He was professional, respectful, and truly care about the quality of service he provided. Everyone raved about the food and the service received. Everyone kept commenting on how delicious the food was. The chicken was juicy, the potatoes and rice had flavor and the desserts were yummy. He found macaroons for my daughter's dessert table, thank you for that personal touch. Thank you for making her special day complete. I will always call David for all my catering needs.
We used VIP Paella for a work Luncheon of 125 employees. Food and service were great, very punctual and reasonably priced. We will be calling them back for next years lunch.
Jenny was outstanding. She worked with the budget I had in mind and she was able to create a phenomenal menu based on what I was requesting. I sampled the desserts (created by her daughter who is new and exceptional to the food industry) and one of the appetizers one week before. That tasting opened up my tastebuds and was excited to taste the other menu items on the day requested. Jenny and her daughter set up everything in my kitchen in advance and while waiting for the guests to arrive, conversing with her and her daughter brought interesting topics about culture and diversity. The food was amazing, from the appetizer to the salad, the entree and the dessert. The quality was of very high standard. From the four guests, three belong to the hospitality and food industry, and we were all impressed with the quality of food, style, presentation and the service. I have absolutely nothing that could have been better as all the guests and I believe the service and quality were up to par. This was the first time I have ever hired a private chef, but I know if I do it again, I would definitely go with Jenny Brown, Chef-aLa-Carte.

I hired Chef Kevin for a dinner party to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. I interviewed several private chefs through thumbtack and other internet searches; Chef Kevin was the most prompt to respond to my emails, the most accommodating when offering menu selections and, perhaps most importantly, he was the most enthusiastic to work with/for me. Chef Kevin simultaneously prepared a two course meal for 7 children and a completely different 3 course meal for 4 adults. The transitions from one course to the next, and from one meal to another were not only seamless, but perfectly timed - something that we were all very impressed with. I think that it is important to note that we were staying in a vacation rental in Ft Lauderdale that was somewhat limited in terms of dishes, serving pieces, pots and pans, etc., none of which was a problem for Chef Kevin. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine pairings were perfect - it truly was an outstanding meal! The evening really was everything that I had I had hoped it would be. Chef Kevin is a great guy - friendly, affable, professional and very personable - the adults in the group really enjoyed chatting with him and he was wonderful with all of the children. I highly recommend Chef Kevin!

Eggwhites catered my daughter's Bat Mitzvah and it is an event to remember! As a private chef, I prepare and serve multiple meals for my client and their family each day. Generally, I would be responsible for all things related to food preparation and meal service, including safe and sanitary food handling practices, kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, maintaining kitchen inventories, and grocery shopping. Private chefs are not responsible for housecleaning, childcare, personal valet, and/or general house management. Duration of service is negotiable, with long- and short-term contracts available. How does my service/process work? INITIAL CONTACT: You make initial contact with me so we can schedule a complimentary, in-home consultation and client assessment. During this initial discussion, I will ask you several brief and preliminary questions that will help me establish what you're looking for in the way of food service. This will also help you determine whether this service is right for you and your family. COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION: I arrive at your home on the scheduled day and time to conduct a complimentary consultation where we discuss your general requirements and expectations, food and cuisine preferences, meal packaging methods, general meal frequency, major dietary considerations or challenges, etc. I will also conduct a preliminary kitchen facilities assessment (what equipment you have, condition of facilities, general kitchen layout, etc). This consultation takes roughly 45 minutes. I will also be able to give you a rough estimate of chef's fees and estimated food costs. From there, both parties should be able to decide whether to proceed to the next step. IN-DEPTH CLIENT ASSESSMENTS AND MENU DEVELOPMENT AND APPROVAL: Once you have decided to utilize my services, you would contact me to schedule a service date. Please note: A down payment for estimated chef's fees and food costs along with a signed client agreement will be required at this time. I will send you several detailed questionnaires pertaining to your meal service - this can be done via email, over the phone, or in person. I will use this information to build your customized menu and meal plans. We'll also discuss how you'd like to handle unique ingredients (purchase outright or use from my pantry). Once I understand all your food-related requirements, I'll submit a proposed menu that has been customized specifically for you and your family. After your approval of the menu, we'll need to meet briefly to transact payment of estimated groceries. SERVICE STARTS: On the scheduled service date, I will arrive at your house no later than requested. I bring the necessary groceries, supplies, and equipment and will begin food preparation and cooking. I will cook, cool, package, and store your menu items as we discussed. I will also provide detailed reheating instructions and clean up the kitchen, leaving you with a freezer full of delicious food to enjoy at your convenience. Finally, I will leave an invoice for any remaining balance from groceries and/or time needed to complete your service. FOLLOW UP: Approximately three days after your service, I'll follow up with you to ensure you're happy with the meals and to get feedback from you on the entire service. I'll also ask if you'd like to schedule another service date.
