We contacted Plumbing Tricks to install a new electric hot water heater. While communication was great at first it changed on the day of arrival. They were scheduled to arrive between 8am and 9am. At 9:45am I contacted them to be told they’ll have a tech call me. I then received a text message stating they were in route at 9:52pm but they didn’t arrive until 1:30pm. They installed the new electric water heater but wasn’t able to test it to see if it works as there was an electrical issue.

Of all the plumbers we contacted, Kenny was the most responsive and also transparent with the pricing. That pricing (for a water heater install) was among the better quotes we received also. The job was done promptly and Kenny was friendly and explaining things throughout. Unfortunately, after Kenny had left we noticed gas was leaking from the flange nut on the gas line where it was connected to the water heater. Obviously with a gas leak we would prefer the plumber to promptly fix it, but Kenny was getting ready to leave town. We were able to resolve it ourselves anyway with some teflon tape.

Joe did a great job - I live in a high-rise condominium and was very careful on the plumber I hired for the installation of a hot water heater particular because of my living situation with 224 other units in my building. I was impressed with Joe's experience in working on commercial buildings and high-rise buildings as well as traditional homes. Joe was prompt and gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. Was very pleased. I had previously had a 6 year old hot water explode and flood into a downstairs condominium so I wanted to hire a plumber who was highly qualified and ensure that this wouldn't happen again. The pricing was reasonable and was $300 under a quote I received from a national plumbing firm for the installation of a hot water heater. I give ReelMcCoy Plumbing my highest recommendation.

He even traveled to Home Depot for extra parts and to ensure I had an expansion tank installed to meet the current code.The price was just as he quoted and he did an excellent job.
