By far the best workout/exercise experience I have ever had! Doc is very knowledgeable about the technical and psychological aspects of changing the body (slimming down vs bulking up, isolating muscles, wanting to exercise, etc), completely in-tune with my fitness goals and extremely conscious about customizing the pace and intensity of my workout to align with MY fitness level. The entire experience is customized for ME - schedule, workout, price…. Doc’s approach is so positive and encouraging that I am developing a ‘can do’ attitude about working out and starting to feel like it will be easy to make working out a permanent part of my lifestyle. I highly recommend Doc as a trainer!
Midcity Fitness is great! -The gym is right off of 75/85 with convenient visitor parking -David has all the tools and gear to keep the exercises new, interesting, and effective -He closely monitors your form while providing encouragement -Flexible with scheduling, he never makes me feel like he's in a rush to get me out of there. He doesn't watch the clock like some trainers and sometimes the sessions even run later when he wants to make sure you're making progress or understanding a move -Increases the intensity and variety of each session -Emphasis on body alignment to prevent injuries -Helps your achieve your goals while working to repair painful injury prone areas -Extremely knowledgeable - he can tell from your posture, gait, and structure what areas to focus on -Pool training + yoga makes you feel fantastic! -Amazing price point, our initial consultation was complimentary at the time which helped me get a feel for his style ;) Though I've been moderately active (biking, walking, a little bit of running under 30 min), I had NEVER worked out. As I got older my weight crept up so I thought it was time to get some help from a professional. Right away he could tell I had posture and knee issues, something I realize now was responsible for my mild aches and pains. My whole life no one had ever noticed or told me this before David! With his guidance I'm now getting stronger with a correctly aligned form each time I go. I signed up for couple's training a few months ago with Malcolm and our experience has been great! He's always on time and delivers a strong workout with different kind of simple equipment and exercise (plus running). You can't beat the value! We've really enjoyed it so far.

I’ve been working with Bakar and he has been absolutely incredible. I travel for work and it was hard for to find a trainer who would tailor to my ever changing schedule and provide me what I needed when I was away, but he has done just that and more. Since training with him my workouts have gotten to a level I was never able to manage before. I’m looking and feeling better with less frequent workouts than what I was originally doing on my own. Every session leaves me more and more motivated. Whatever your goals are I highly recommend letting Bakar help you reach them!
Akil is a top trainer in Atlanta. His methods have held me accountable to my goals and I really enjoy his training style. Our workouts are intense but he is very attentive to making sure the exercises work well for my body type and comfort level. He is there to push me, but not to hurt me! That really makes a difference. After just a few months of training I am achieving my body and nutrition goals thanks to his guidance.
I came to Thumbtack looking for a trainer to specifically provide workouts to help me lose weight while being low impact for my knees. V listened to concerns during our first meeting and has created workouts that are challenging and high intensity. I look forward to the fact that every workout is different. Already I can feel improved strength in the one leg that I have been favoring for so long! V's coaching style is also excellent. I feel pushed past when I would normally give up while feeling encouraged if have to take a breather. We were able to set up a schedule for 3x a week with relative ease. I do travel to the Civic Center area to workout with him, but I do not have a gym where he could come and train me. So far, I have only had great experiences with V!
I enjoyed it very much, working with A. Brown's Victory Fitness and Self-Defense. He's very knowledgeable in fitness techniques and defense tactics. I would recommend Victory Fitness and Self-Defense to beginners and advance. The Training is practical as well as intense. Come prepared to work.
You will not find a more hard working and dedicated personal trainer that knows what he is doing. He is working even when he is not training. He studies your intensity and works on pushing you without draining you. He focuses on every part of your body and your life goals. He is an inspiration.
Had a great time working out at blaze fit. I worked out there twice a week and i started seeing progress in just a couple weeks. High intensity workouts, but they will work with you because everyone trains at a different level.

My focus is cardio and strength and I can already see and feel the difference in 4 wks. My cardio level was so low I couldn't run for more than 3-5 minutes. Now I'm up to running full court basketball games with guys half my age. Strength wise, I've increased and now bench 255lbs and can workout with 85lb curl bar. The best part for me over all of this is I live in Minneapolis and work with Jose through the app Trainerize where we communicate and he puts my workout schedule for the week. This has been and still is a great experience.

I have been working out with Rebecca Brown Harris since 2012 and it has been a great experience. Last year she helped me lose 30 pounds in 4 months. It was an intense training but she always encouraged and helped me to workout according to my possibilities. I recommend her highly because she really knows how to tailor your exercise experience to achieve maximum results
John is a phenomenal personal trainer. He ask you what your goals are and trains you properly to achieve those goals. I worked with John for a month and a half and had The most intense workouts of my life with results. He make sure that you understand the proper technique so you don't hurt your self. If you are in search of an intense but ever chaninging workout then don't over look Mbodyment Fitness! The workouts are suitable for any level! The atmosphere is refreshing being outside for boot camp! The personal progress I made in knocking off over 50 lbs was worth pushing myself to attend! Go MFBC!
Frank has a fun way of incorporating strength training, balance exercises and cardio into a workout that yields results. Yes, I said fun because you never know what to expect. The routine changes, but the areas you want him to focus on are still being targeted, so you're never bored. At the end of the workout, you remember all of the positive words of encouragement and the nutrition tips he gave you along the way. You feel energized! You leave the gym feeling like you had a great time! The day after, is when you actually feel the intensity of the workout and remember each and every lift, squat or pull and the reason why you can't walk down the stairs without holding on to the rail for dear life. You feel the pain! And a couple of weeks later is when you spend quality time with the bathroom mirror, smiling and admiring the results and looking forward to your next session. What I value the most is Frank's ability to create a program that aligns with my goals and gets me the results I want. Not only is he knowledgeable when it comes to finding the right balance of proper nutrition and effective training, but his strong passion for helping others places him above the rest. He also offers his videos and recipes on his blog, so others can benefit and he has no problem sending tips to my friends out of state. He responds to my texts/emails immediately and makes me feel like priority number 1 and it's the same in person. At the gym, I have Frank's undivided attention, he values my time and he makes every minute count.
Terry is an amazing trainer! She is not only supportive but her workouts are always different and exciting. She will teach you how to properly use the equipment and will push you to your fullest potential. I always leave the gym feeling like I got a wonderful full body workout. I had a training session with Yvonne in the beginning of May. Although, recently Yvonne had a surgery due to a broken leg, she was still very enthusiastic and well prepared. She considered my requests regarding the areas that I would want to improve and made a personal workout plan for me to tone up the arms and core. Yvonne designed a high intensity workout. She has explained in detail how to perform each exercise . During my training I have used the TRX Suspension Trainer, a medicine ball and a jumping rope, which made the workout interesting and unusual at the same time. I liked Yvonnes approach and how much thought she puts into creation of a workout and making it highly effective. I would definitely recommend her to my friends as she will make the best plan for you and can also consult you on a nutrition.
