Brock has been an amazing piano teacher! When I moved to Atlanta, I wanted to pick up piano again but didn’t know much about teachers in the area. I found Brock through thumbtack and started taking lessons back in November 2017. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient! I have picked up so much since I’ve started. He has a great room in his house where he teaches lessons, and he and his wife create a very welcoming space for students! He is extremely flexible and responsive when it comes to scheduling. I would definitely refer others to take lessons with Brock!

For context, I had no musical background and was self-taught for about 5 months before I decided to commit to getting help. I am glad I did. I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano and it was a little daunting to take on an instrument in my late thirties, especially not knowing how to read music but Kaitlyn has been a fantastic teacher. She strikes a wonderful balance between providing encouragement and constructive feedback. Her attention to detail about wrist and finger movement/placement, posture etc is very helpful. She is helping me learn how to play pieces that I truly enjoy but these also include an element of challenge so that I keep progressing steadily. I've really enjoyed my lessons and I plan to continue learning from her for quite a while!

Ms. Nancy has been our young children's piano teacher for almost a year now and we couldn't be happier. We've had other instructors who weren't as patient with our hyper kids. She is able to successfully work with many personalities from the very young (3) to the very old and cultivate an appreciation for piano. All kids are happy, interested and eager for Ms. Nancy's weekly lessons. We've already had 1 recital and the youngest was able to play by memory, while the others did solos and duets. It was so much fun they cannot wait to do it again. They are already learning scales too! One, has also transposed "Old MacDonald" independently for fun. Ms. Nancy will bring music and happiness into your home.....or at her studio. We love that she is so highly rated and has passed a background check which is important since she is working with our children and comes to our house. Professional, positive, personable, and effective. We feel fortunate to have found Ms. Nancy!
