Ed and his team provided exceptional service and catered delicious food for our wedding. We were a bit nervous about planning a destination wedding without a wedding planner but Ed's strong communication and accommodating attitude made it possible. The food was better then we expected and he was able to work with my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). Not only did we use Kuoha Culinary for the food service but also for party rentals. The company Ed uses for party rentals were very professional and provided delivery, set up, break down, and pick up services of all our rentals. The tents, tables, chairs, dancefloor etc were all in good condition. If I were to recommend a company for wedding catering, it would be Kuoha Culinary hands down!

Ho'A'o Catering Just catered my daughters wedding last weekend at molii gardens in kualoa ranch. It was amazing, Sasha worked with my daughter & my family to come up with an unforgettable menu that our guests would love and she did not disappoint. The food was a HIT everybody is still talking about how delicious everything was, all I can say is Asian BBQ pulled pork was crazy delicious!!!!! Her set up is so beautiful and she takes care of everything.Thank you Ho'A'o catering....

We would recommend Hanai Events for any event you could image. We planned this surprise party for our sister from Texas 3wks before we where to be in O'ahu. They found th venue,(Hyatt Centric Hotel) got the food we loved catered,suprised us with a BREAK DANCING CREW, had a screen for the slide show my hubby made, had the most AWESOME DJ(played 80's music and kept everyone on their feet) and the 3 different flavored CHEESECAKES... out of this world Fab!!!! I could continue on about our night and all the memories that Hanai Events created for the Birthday Girl, her childhood friends, colleges, kids,family and staff enjoyed themselves. If you are looking for the best event and memories of a lifetime definitely have HANAI EVENTS as your planners. Jeremy and Ethan much mahalos for all you guys did before our event and after. I cannot praise Chef Jason Paul and his team enough! We hired him for our wedding reception of 18, and, it being a destination wedding, we didn't have the chance to meet him until the day of the wedding. He did not disappoint! The appetizers (coconut shrimp and wontons) were fantastic and so fresh, and our guests are still raving about the filet mignon - tender, juicy and cooked perfectly! While I was very pleased with the meal, one thing I was also impressed by was the level of service. We had planned to set up the tables and everything ourselves, but we were so pleasantly surprised when we returned from our photos and Jason's team had already set up everything to perfection. They truly went above and beyond what we had expected, and we were so grateful for everything that they did to help us on the day. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jason and his team to anyone looking for personal chef or small catering. The food was as good as (or maybe better than) what you would get in an upscale restaurant, and the service went above and beyond our expectations.

I almost did not go with this caterer because the quote came back with "tell me your budget and we'll see what we can do". I guess I wanted a clearer expectation of what these professionals could offer. However, through a series of emails with this caterer she was very quickly able to give me a clear estimate of cost and what food we could expect for that cost. She was always very quick to respond to my many questions and completely willing and flexible to help make this special event happen. This was a wedding reception for my niece and nephew. Over the course of several weeks we decided the menu and met for a tasting. The food was delicious, to say the least. On the day of the event, they showed up on time and immediately got to work. With all the other things going on with this mostly DIY reception, the food was one thing I just didn't have to worry about. To top it off, at one point (the toasts) the sparkling juice and cups were not distributed before they started making their speeches. I rushed to the kitchen in a panic and without being asked they started helping to distribute the cups and juice... this was not even something they had to do because it was not part of the meal they were providing. They went above and beyond to help make this day special. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to anyone who has need of their services. Thank you Blaize's Kitchen! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful Tropical Moon Events was at our wedding. All of the cocktails were such huge hits that they were all everyone wanted to drink--even those who usually only drank wine or beer! Most notably, the Passion Mai Tais and Lychee Mint Spritzers were everyone's favorite. I thought that the Cucumber Basil Gin & Tonic was very refreshing. The bartenders were so wonderful and fun, and kept up a great pace for all of the thirsty guests. The party would not have been the same without Tropical Moon Events there to liven it up!

    Chef Chai is generous, kind, brilliant and the best at everything he does. Not only did he cater our wedding, he personally oversaw every aspect and when our cake lady neglected to bring boxes so our guests could bring the cake home, Chef Chai immediately figured out a way to solve the problem and made sure we could have boxes for our guests. Chef Chai is not only an incredible caterer, but his restaurants are top notch. Whenever we return to Hawai'i we make sure to visit him and every experience is nothing short of magical every time.
