I am 55 years old and was looking to lose some weight, but more importantly to build strength to meet the challenges I will be facing in the aging process. I had been told that you need to build this strength so that you are more agile and develop bone strength. I met Theresa, my fitness trainer, through my principal. Theresa began to do a small group boot camp with teachers. I was the oldest teacher and within a few weeks I was able to do many of the exercises that the younger teachers were doing. Each week is a new workout, still using some of the same exercises being repeated. My strength is fantastic and I have lost several inches in the 5 months, 2 x a week that I have been meeting with Theresa. She is so knowledgeable with health tips and the correct way to do the exercises that every week we have new questions and she knows the answers. I would recommend Theresa to anyone who is looking to become healthier and stronger. It is an investment in you for your future, no matter how old you are! Joann C.

MBC isn't just a gym, it's a family. When I found MBC I found a gym that I could finally be comfortable in. It doesn't matter your size, shape, ability or age, there is a spot for you here. For once in my life I actually look forward to going to the gym! This is a HUGE deal for me! The trainers are incredibly knowledgable and do everything in their power to help you reach your goals and motivate you. They really do go above and beyond to help everybody. Another amazing part of this gym is the fact that none of the classes are the same. Not knowing what to expect at the next class is a big motivational factor for me. It makes the classes fun and that hour is over in the blink of an eye. There are several different types of classes: Cardio Boxing, Ladies Night, FitRanx and Booty Camp. I wish I could pick a favorite, but it's pretty much impossible. I love these classes so much I try to go every single day and sometimes I even double up. This is coming from someone who hasn't been to the gym in years! I joined MBC to get active and in a few short weeks I lost over 6 inches of body fat. I can see and feel my muscles getting stronger and there is no better feeling than that. When I joined MBC I expected to lose some weight, but I didn't expect to have this much fun doing it. Joining has been one of the best decisions of my life.

I attended a bootcamp with Torched Fitness and it was awesome. I can honestly say I never imagined I would willingly get up at 6am to be at the gym for a 6:30am workout, but I did. Repeatedly. Jeremy is great at motivating people to reach their goals and creating a fun environment that doesn't make it seem like a monotonous exercise routine.
Choose to Lose Fitness has been so motivating and helpful in my fitness journey. The fit camps work your entire body. They are hard, but I always leave class feeling great and knowing I got a fantastic workout. Amber is a great motivator and an inspiration.
I started training with Tom in October of 2013. I've never been overweight by any means but have been "skinny fat". Tom has tailored a training program to my needs and I've dropped 20ish pounds. I've never been in better cardiovascular shape either. He's friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and has been incredibly flexible given my constantly changing schedule.
I have done the Saturday morning boot camps and I train twice a week with Mike. I love it. And everyone is like family.

David is extremely attentive to you for your entire session time. I have learned alot of fitness from him. Training is fun and he switches up your training according to your progress so you don't get bored.

I trained with Jillian in her boot camp series and was really grateful for the experience. I never felt uneasy or intimidated in any class. She trains with a hands on approach filled with teachable moments, teaching about proper form and the benefits along with potential consequences of improper form. Jillian also incorporates the importantance of proper nutrition, stretching, and post workout care.
Nosson has high energy, great technical knowledge, and is very motivational. I always have a much better workout with Nosson than exercising by myself.
I have been attending boot camp classes run by Mandie Curlee for just over a year now. I love how challenging and different every class is! She has shown us different workouts that can be done on your own, and I have incorporated several of the exercises into my daily routines. Along with Mandie's boot camp classes, I also am a part of her online accountability program, and also do personal training with her. I have really come to enjoy the process of the "IIFYM" lifestyle. I am getting to enjoy foods I never thought I would be able to eat and still lose weight...donuts, pizza, cookies & even ice cream! It has been a real learning process for me-- but Mandie has been there for me every step of the way. It has been so refreshing to have a coach who is so personable and that I can connect with, as more than just a "coach." She has just the mixture of toughness and kindness--she is there to keep pushing you, but also understanding enough to know when you need words of encouragement as compared to tough love. The open communication is also another aspect that I love. I have never felt like I couldn't approach Mandie with a question, and she is always quick to reply to me. She is so easy to get in touch with, whether it is through Facebook, e-mail or texting. I also enjoy the feedback from our weekly check-in logs. Usually in the email, it is my chance to fill Mandie in on what has happened during me week--any mishaps or issues that have caused me to veer off my plan, or any other concerns that I might have. She always addresses my concerns in these emails and provides great feed back... It's like getting a mini pep talk before your week has started. I have also really enjoyed the one on one personal training with Mandie. She is able to create a workout that is going to target the areas you are wanting to work on, whether you see her once a week or 2 times. Similar to the boot camp classes, Mandie has taught me different exercises that I can work on alone as well as with her. I have been with other trainers before where I did not feel like I was able to take the exercises they taught me and use them on my own or be able to create a workout of my own. Mandie has literally started with with some of the basics when it comes to weight training, and shown me the proper form and how to successfully complete certain lifts. It is such an awesome feeling to see yourself progress with weight training, especially when you have started from using little to no weights at all. Many people feel that it is too expensive to invest in a trainer and/or coach, but I truly feel that every penny has been well invested with her. I have created a much healthier relationship with myself, as well as with food and fitness in the past year, with the help of Mandie Curlee. I have never felt like I have wasted this money or "thrown it away" because it has all been reinvested in myself!
I attended a boot camp at Gold's Gym with Rachel leading it. She was very knowledgable on each exercise and explained the benefits of each. She is personable and knew how far to challenge me. I went to several boot camps led by her and was very satisfied with each one. She is supportive, understanding and very helpful.
