When we first met with Patrick we were skeptical at first. But after trying to keep a regular workout schedule ourselves and not seeing results we decided to give him a try. He was able to devise an exercise routine and diet that was tailor made for us, taking into consideration our limitations and injuries. We found his idea of dieting and calorie counting a bit challenging. In fact, we hated it. We hated all of his diet suggestions. But once we figured out what foods worked for us, keeping us full and staying within our calorie count; we started to see results and we had enough energy throughout the day and to not feel hungry at night. We both started with our clothes fitting a bit snug and looking sloppy. Today we STILL don’t fit into our clothes. However, we’re proud to say there’s a lot more room in them now. Aside from being leaner and meaner, our faces and skin look alot better and we feel better. Patrick has motivated us to eat better, keep fit, and stay in shape and not order a lot of pizza. We’ve maintained our routine cardio and circuit training, make better food choices on a daily basis and even purchased a Reebok Stepper. His plan works. Thanks Patrick!!!!

Ken is a fantastic trainer as well as an all around wonderful person. I've seen great results from his personal training. Also, when I had an injury he was able to pinpoint the problem immediately, advise me with stretches and exercises, and helped work out the kinks. I strongly recommend Ken to anyone looking for a great personal trainer!

Josh is great to work with for your fitness needs. My husband and I hired him for at home personal training. He uses customized exercises to help my husband and I reach our fitness goals. Additionally, he has a great positive energy that helps us get in the right mindset. I met Jenny about 7-8 months ago when she joined the HIIT training gym I had recently joined. Jenny has amazing knowledge about everything when it comes to working out & nutrition. I was VERY intimidated trying HIIT training but Jenny makes you feel comfortable while also pushing you to jump the next hurdle in your fitness journey. And she listens!! Sometimes I push myself too much all week & I at walk into my last class of the week and ask to just concentrate on my trouble areas and we DO!! I've gone from a size 12 to size 4/6 in less than 9 months- she's the best!!

So, I started personal training with Paul, and it's now been around 2 weeks now. My commitment that has been made is to go 5 days a week to the gym on my own, and then the 6th day is personal training day for 6 months total. Paul delivers! With his various certifications, he is able to adequately taper a fitness program exactly to what I want and need (fat loss and strength in particular). I definitely feel like it is personalized to fit me perfectly. Throughout the week when I am not with him he also keeps you accountable with little messages to make sure everything is going alright. He doesn't belittle you, but he makes an honest push to get you to reach your goal and go above and beyond. He has a fun sense of humor and makes the hour go by quickly. I would highly recommend him as a trainer and can't wait to see my already transforming physique reach the end goal flawlessly as long as I put as much into the workouts myself. Way to go DJ PAULY D! I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. Kudos to Nicki for winning her over and making a difference!

You know that feeling you get when someone looks at you and you can see them calculating in their head- what is different? Training w Chris made me different. I have pretty much always worked out, but working out with weights outside of a class environment wasn't part of my regular routine. I have worked out with trainers in the past, but after a handful of sessions would tire of their plan and go back to classes or machines. The boredom still hasn't kicked in with Chris and it has been about a year. My body is tighter, my butt is higher and I can knock someone out with one punch if they deserve it.

My Personal Trainer was Christopher. I am in Chicago for an assignment with work. I have never had a personal trainer before, figured it was something i didnt need. I then researched trainers and came across Chris page on Craigslist. I read his add and seen his transformation he made which inspired me to want someone like that who personally made that huge change of being obese to fit. I am average build and was looking to be more fit. Chris offered a complementary workout which immediately sold me. I purchased a 5 week session of 3 days a week which Chris was able to offer not only a physical change but also mental as well as offered dietary advise and consultation. I was so please with his services and his ability to connect with someone on a training level and also build a friendship at the same time that I recommended a co worker. My co worker joined and began to train with me during my time frame which made it even better. I wish I could find a trainer in my home state of NY, however that would be asking to clone someone because that level of commitment, honesty, motivation and share basic humanity comes very rare. I would by far recommend Chris. Highly. Thank you Chris for what you do and how you do it. Thanks Tyfone K. Reed-Morales.

Trisha is an amazing trainer. I am so very happy to have found her on thumbtack. Fuel your training workouts have been a super positive experience for me! My friend and I were working out with another trainer at the gym and the trainer suddenly stopped answering our calls. Vera and I are good friends and we use the workouts to push each other and connect on a weekly basis. FYT came to our rescue!! Linda and Johnny realized that what we need is a total body workout and proceeded to teach us about proper nutrition and habits. I am inspired each week to keep this up and further challenge myself the rest of the week Cardio Cardio Cardio !!! Linda is our primary trainer who is very informed and motivating! Johnny backs her up too . I greatly appreciate their professionalism and flexibility. I would recommend them to my best friends.

We've just started working together, but It doesn't take long to know that Rick knows training. Here's what I know so far from a general business standpoint: Rick is punctual - always where he's supposed to be when he says he'll be there Easy communication - always returns calls, emails, and texts He's very engaging - never any awkward silences in between sets - he's always got something relevant to say Fairly priced Easy to pay - this is overlooked sometimes - but he takes credit cards, personal checks, and good old fashioned cash. Has a very pleasant, easy going demeanor - no judgement here. And believe when I say it would be real easy to judge me (6'3", 315 lbs) He's very good at encouragement. You can tell that he WANTS you to succeed - he WANTS you to achieve your goals. I'm generally pretty skeptical of all the rah-rah stuff - but you can tell that Rick is sincere. His workout facility is well equipped and comfortable I was an athlete at a former life stage, so I know a little about training. I think I'm well equipped to see through any BS - and I haven't seen any from Rick. Here's what I know about Rick professionally: He knows training - He's got me doing some movements that I haven't seen before that are really effective - I can feel the burn where we're targeting. And of course, we're doing the 'ol standbys too. Curls, presses, etc., but he's a stickler for proper form - if you're not doing it right, you won't get the benefits - he keeps you focused on form He's teaching me about training, not just going through the motions. In between exercises, he's teaching me how to listen to my body, what to watch for, what to look for, and what to do when I see those triggers. Rick knows nutrition - he's giving me solid direction on what to eat, when to eat, and how to get those muscles recovered and ready for the next session. I would recommend Rick to anyone, young or old, in any kind of shape - It's been a real pleasant experience.
