"I started training with Dan at HiFi Fitness for straightforward reasons. After 2 sedentary winters in Chicago, I had gained nearly 30 pounds while taking "time off the gym" to start my business. I was the heaviest I'd ever been and, even though I was an athlete by nature, I'd only dropped 10 pounds on my own and knew I needed help reaching my goals. That's when I started working with Dan. From the start, Dan emphasized that we were a team working toward my goals together and that the changes I wanted to see in my body required my commitment beyond the three hours we spent every week together. I like that he leverages technology to regularly measure daily progress. Every exercise is keyed in, and detailed notes for each movement goes into his iPad - and I can see my results behind a secure login website. We're only a few weeks into our regimen, but I already feel stronger, and my pants are starting to feel loose. Working with Dan is not just about making changes to your body though. It's also about learning the discipline of movement and having the mental focus to push past the limits you think you have. Dan is a meticulous technician when it comes to form. "Paul is a great trainer with a structured and well thought out approach. I appreciated how our first session was structured and tailored to the leg workout I had requested. The thorough and succinct explanation for each exercise was helpful in minimizing the time between each workout while ensuring that it was done correctly. Each subsequent session built upon the previous session and the reasoning was explained in a fashion I could understand. I have been to multiple personal trainers since I was young, and I feel that this was one of the most professional experiences I have had with a personal trainer."

"You know that feeling you get when someone looks at you and you can see them calculating in their head- what is different? Training w Chris made me different. I have pretty much always worked out, but working out with weights outside of a class environment wasn't part of my regular routine. I have worked out with trainers in the past, but after a handful of sessions would tire of their plan and go back to classes or machines. The boredom still hasn't kicked in with Chris and it has been about a year. My body is tighter, my butt is higher and I can knock someone out with one punch if they deserve it. "

"I met Ro through a mutual friend a few years ago. I have been a triathlete for about five years but, the past two years I have given up running and focused more on cycling and swimming. Between teaching a spin class, swimming 3 miles a week, and biking 80 plus miles a week I noticed I just wasn’t recovering fast enough from all the exercise. I sat down with Ro for a one on one consultation. Ro dissected my entire nutrition habits. She took in account for everything I ate from the time I woke up until the time I went to bed, Monday through Sunday. After her analysis of the results she noticed my carb intake was much higher than my protein intake . She introduced me to some foods I never thought I would ever eat like quinoa and tofu. She took my food list and substituted these items for some of the carbs I could take out of my diet. Thanks to Ro I feel my recovery time has been shortened and I can expedite my recovery time. Ro checks in with me on a monthly basis to make sure I’m still on pace. If it wasn’t for this help from Ro I would still be scratching my head searching the Internet for what I’m doing wrong.
