About: Regarding live music for wedding/banquet type events, I provide first-rate cello and piano performance, with deep experience having solo performances in major US cities and Europe, and regularly performing in professional orchestral settings. As a teacher, I have studied with celebrated cellists, including Ko Iwasaki, Emilio Colon, Brandon Vamos, and Suren Bagratuni. On Piano, my teachers have included Tella-Marie Debose, Gellert Modos, and Michael Fritch. My style is a traditional intuitive approach that has yielded an outstanding studio, producing many music majors, several competition winners. But most importantly, we foster a happy and healthy approach to music as a model for long term well-being.

Latest Review: Vera has been giving our children piano lessons for about three years now. Our kids love her and so do we! Above all, she is so patient! Especially with our daughter, who can be quite difficult on days she is not interested in practicing. Vera is also very flexible with our hectic schedules. I would definitely recommend Vera for anyone looking to start their child with music lessons.

Latest Review: My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

Latest Review: My 10yr.old Son had no desire to learn how to play an instrument. I encouraged him to try piano lessons. We both agreed if he didn't like, he would try something else. On the first day of piano lessons, Scottie not only transmitted professionalism but also, my son was so glad he gave himself this opportunity. My son's progress is at the pace Scottie has projected which is excellent. I have rescheduled the class a few times and Scottie has been very understanding and his response is prompt. My son once asked..."how much he gets paid" I said "not enough" My respect to you Scottie. Gracias for all your patience. Veronica B.

Latest Review: I was looking for a private viola teacher to help with my 5th and 6th grader to keep up their skills over the summer. I got very fortunate to find Ms. Codruta and my kids have excelled under her teaching. We have had 10 lessons so far and my kids have grown exponentially and are super excited to show their orchestra teacher how much more advanced they are. Additionally, I am very impressed with Ms. Corduta’s flexibility with scheduling, which has helped with my family’s busy schedule. Last- she is very positive and knows how to challenge the children and get the best out of them. I would highly recommend her for private music lessons.
