I'm a 51 year old woman who had never done strength training before. Jogging was my go-to exercise, but as I'm getting older I knew it wasn't enough. Konrad and the trainer he paired me with, Diana Gondek, were both fantastic. Patient, accessible, knowledgeable, reliable - really impressive. I won't hesitate to call them again in the future.
Searching in desperation I found my answer in Weightloss Transformations! My trainer Patrick is one of the most hardworking, supportive, inspiring people I've ever met. He is so much more then a trainer. He becomes an artist sculpting your body with personalized exercise routines. He is a therapist that changes the way you look at food, exercise and what you can achieve. His workout sessions are just as much for your mind as they are for your body. He gives you an easy to follow nutrition plan with new recipes to try every week. Coming to my house takes the issue of actually making it to the gym not an issue or excuse. Patrick is always there for me when I need him. He texts me to remind me to choose happiness that day which means to get my workout in or stops by with a green tea and a hug when I'm feeling down. He's always inspiring me to do better and believes in me when I don't believe in myself. Early on in the beginning of our training I wanted to cancel a workout because I was tired and wanted to stay in bed. I texted Patrick 20 mins before he was supposed to walk through my door saying I couldn't make the workout today. You'll never guess what he did.... he called my bluff and said that he knew I didn't have anything else I needed to do since I was canceling this short of notice! He told me to get out of my head, suck it up and he'd be there in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later he was walking through my door with a smile on his face. You may think that was a crazy move on his part but that was a turning point in our relationship. This is why he is my answer! This is why I haven't given up! Patrick won't let you fail! He is there to help you every step of the way. He invests everything into his clients which is why he is so successful in his transformations. I am down 30 lbs in just a short amount of time and feeling stronger, more energetic and healthy. Everyone around me makes comments on how good I look which hasn't happen in over 8 years. I'm wearing pre pregnancy jeans (comfortably) after 4.5 years of trying to lose all the weight I had gained with my son and never lost until now! I was depressed, fatigued, suffering from fibromyalgia, and so unhappy until I found Patrick. He's greatly improved my life for the better. I still have a long journey to go but now I know I can achieve my weight loss and life goals of being fit and healthy. Thanks to Patrick and his support. I was doing high intensity interval training, which caused serious injuries to my knee and shoulder, so I wanted to get back into full body resistance training and cardio. After reading reviews, I chose Dan. It has been a wonderful ride ever since. He's very smart, thoughtful, and incredibly enthusiastic. He spends a great deal of time tracking your numbers so that there is genuine accountability as to the extent of your progress. After I saw the orthopedist about my shoulder and went to physical therapy, Dan took the recommended physical therapy exercises and integrated them directly into my workouts. Very creative; very cool. He's easy to communicate by text or email, and incredibly responsive. He's also very knowledgeable about the Chicago performing arts scene, which I enjoy discussing with him. Bottom line: I'm getting stronger; feeling more fit and confident; and not getting injured. Dan's been great.
Josh is great to work with for your fitness needs. My husband and I hired him for at home personal training. He uses customized exercises to help my husband and I reach our fitness goals. Additionally, he has a great positive energy that helps us get in the right mindset. His educational background is a plus as he can tell you the "why" behind your needs and exercises which I greatly appreciate. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer.
When first searching for a personal trainer, I had no idea what type of trainer I was looking for. All I knew was that I wanted someone who would help me to be a better version of myself. Andie reached out to me and gave me a very detailed email of what to expect in her training. Without even meeting her, I already felt comfortable and at ease. When beginning training with Andie, she made everything very clear about where she would like me to be by the end of our training together. She explained how my body worked, and ways to get my body to start functioning better. I have always hated going to the gym, but every day that I train with Andie, I am excited to go and feel so much more confident with myself. She is motivational, educational, inspirational and one of the most sincere people you will ever meet. We have been training with Elijah - Physical Peak – for a little over a year now. My husband and I both have had great results. We love the ease and convince of having him train us in our home, without that we wouldn’t be making the life style changes we both have needed. He has helped coach us on nutrition changes also. About half way through our year we got pregnant and I have been able to continue working with him through my whole pregnancy, my doctor has said I am doing great and my health, blood test, blood pressure etc. has been right on track through my whole pregnancy. I love training with Tricia! She has been training me for about 4 months now and I'm VERY happy with the results. I've lost inches and weight, and I even have toned muscles that I never had before! I've lost weight in the past doing Weight Watchers, but I never did any strength training like this! I can do "REAL" push-ups now instead of having to be on my knees! I feel great and know I would not have pushed myself to get here without Tricia. I would recommend her to anyone!

I contacted Jill about hiring an in home personal trainer for my 75 year old mother after she had achilles surgery and was done with physical therapy but still unable to function comfortably in everyday life. My mom has been training with Nicki for a few months (she told me in the beginning she was just going to do "a few sessions") and has improved wonderfully. My mother likes to say she "gave up a cruise" to train with Nicki, but she insists it is totally worth it! My mother is not an easy one to please, and was a hard sell for training in the first place. After having a spinal fusion on my lower back roughly 6 months ago and undergoing several months of physical therapy at one of the larger health centers; one of my friends introduced me to GI Jane fitness. I asked Jane what she could do to help me get back into shape and strengthen my core & back. She challenged me to eat better and workout appropriately for my situation. I choose Jane to help in my rehabilitation and after working with her for a short time she has been able to get me walking several miles each week and eating healthier than I have in years. She takes her responsibility of helping/training others seriously and worked with me to tailor a specific training regime that would work for my busy schedule and time constraints. I was a little apprehensive at first, but her technique and ability to challenge me to become stronger and healthier in general has been a huge success. The one thing she told me once is, It may be tough, but I will help you get through it. That saying encapsulates everything about Jane and her abilities.
Our family has been training with Gary for the past five years. He has safely and effectively guided us back to full health after we have completed phycial therapy. Jessica is extremely well rounded and knowledgeable, with exceptional attention to detail in form and technique. She brings an adaptability to her training that allows for modification as needed by each individual client. Jessica is professional yet approachable, personable and funny. Her yoga training is awesome and her Thai massage is fantastic. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it. I highly recommend it!
I have worked with Steve on and off for the past 3 years. Having been a dancer my while life, I wanted to train with someone who understood the importance of core balance, along with being able to push someone to achieve their goals through a variety of different exercises you really don't see others using in the gym. He made our workouts fun, but focused and intense. I sought out a trainer because I had put on a lot of weight since I stopped dancing regularly as I did when I was in college. I ballooned up to over 170lbs and decided I wanted to take back my health, and look like I did when I was in college. I sought out and found the right trainer. Steve is exceptional at what he does, and I would highly recommend him. He kept me strict on the nutrition aspect, and always had me tell him what I was planning on eating after workouts, and what I had been eating since I last saw him. This really kept on my toes and made me accountable in what I do when I'm not training with him. After all the hard work, I lost over 30lbs and hit my weight and fitness goals!! I definitely recommend Steve to help you do the same!

My Personal Trainer was Christopher. I am in Chicago for an assignment with work. I have never had a personal trainer before, figured it was something i didnt need. I then researched trainers and came across Chris page on Craigslist. I read his add and seen his transformation he made which inspired me to want someone like that who personally made that huge change of being obese to fit. I am average build and was looking to be more fit. Chris offered a complementary workout which immediately sold me. I purchased a 5 week session of 3 days a week which Chris was able to offer not only a physical change but also mental as well as offered dietary advise and consultation. I was so please with his services and his ability to connect with someone on a training level and also build a friendship at the same time that I recommended a co worker. My co worker joined and began to train with me during my time frame which made it even better. I wish I could find a trainer in my home state of NY, however that would be asking to clone someone because that level of commitment, honesty, motivation and share basic humanity comes very rare. Matt Walters is an awesome trainer, He knows what he's talking about with training each time he gives me a good workout but not where I'm hurting for the next week like some trainers have done. I trust his method,I'm seeing and feeling results. I'm so glad I found him,very professional and easy to talk to.I definitely recommend him to everyone and he's affordable.

Joe was my personal trainer for over a year and I was very satisfied with the quality of training he provided. My program included a warm-up, progressive power-lifting, metabolic conditioning, and stretching. The exercises were fun, challenging, and at times quirky. No two workouts were ever the same. Joe adapted and modified the program around my needs instead of trying to plug me into some preset routine. I learned that a person does not have to spend two hours in the gym every day in order to see results. With Joes guidance and encouragement, I was able to accomplish things I never thought possible. Joe really listens to and cares about his clients. He demonstrates a willingness to research, explain, and physically demonstrate each technique. He is not afraid to pull in movement from many types of disciplines. This keeps the workouts fresh and interesting as well as efficient and effective. Joe emphasizes life balance (eating, sleeping, exercising, etc). He practices what he preaches. He is very knowledgeable, is willing to continue learning, and has a great personality.
