My son has been taking guitar lessons with Garreth for several months. I have been impressed by the way Garreth engages him during their lessons. He helps him explore music by teaching Colton to use what comes natural as well as giving him the tools he needs to improve!
We aren't meeting until July because of my schedule not hers. She's been great to work with and get a date scheduled. I'm looking forward to my daughter taking piano and voice lessons with her. I couldn't be more thrilled. She responds quickly. Such an answer to our prayers for my daughter.
Mike is incredibly courteous and professional. He was very patient with me, went at a manageable pace for my learning, and provided appropriate materials to take home to practice. I'd highly recommend him to anyone wanting to take guitar lessons.
I am an adult learner who is trying to learn how to play the piano. Son Yong is an excellent instructor and she tailors each lesson to match my skill level and my interest in music. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for piano lessons.
My daughter just started lessons however she is very excited to work with her instructor again. The structure of her lesson was great!!
Linda is an amazing piano teacher. I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano, but unfortunately I did not learn it as a child. After finally deciding to do it, I chose Linda. After a welcome at the front door assuring me that I was at the right location, she excelled in making me feel comfortable. She listens to questions takes everything at your speed and recaps from the week before. She sends you home with just the right amount of practice work and after 3 lessons I feel like I'm getting all of what she's teaching and am improving and adding on more lessons. So happy that I chose Linda :)
My daughter has loved her piano lessons with Wayne. He is a very good instructor, very patient and encouraging. He has a true love for his craft, and encourages it in his students.
I took voice and piano lessons from David for a period of about three years and always found him to be encouraging, reliable, and meticulous in his work, not to mention the fact that he is an absolute expert in his field as well as an outstanding performer. He meets you at your individual level and helps you select music that challenges you to grow as a musician even as it suits your ability at the time. He then pinpoints areas where you could improve, giving you helpful feedback and personal exercises tailored to addressing those areas where you could become better. He also gives you valuable coaching on all aspects of performance, including tips on your carriage, how to show emotion, and phrasing the music to name a few. I would enthusiastically recommend taking lessons from him whether you are interested in recreational lessons or becoming a professional performer. He will inspire you to reach beyond what you thought you'd be able to do and help you to reach your goals.
As an older student that had piano lessons as a young person, I have found Diana to be a wonderful teacher, patient, organized, qualified. Lessons are full and leave me enthusiastic for the next lesson. Bravo!
My daughter Sofia is not always a fan of taking any type of classes after she's done with school during the week but she truly loves going to her piano lesson! The greatest reason behind that is definitely her teacher, Miss Monica. It is clear to me that Miss monica knows how to work with children. She creates a friendly environment in which a child feels comfortable, at ease and where kids can have fun learning. In addition, my husband and I appreciate her well structured class, materials and the discipline that she imparts through her class. We are very pleased particularly because we can see our daughter's progress after each lesson.
Miriam has been teaching our 6yo piano lessons for about 6 months. Miriam is very patient when my daughter gets distracted. She keeps good record of when and how much we have paid. We have been very pleased so far and our daughter is progressing well. Oh, and she has been very flexible when emergencies or sickness has come up and we needed to reschedule a lesson. My granddaughters have been receiving piano and voice lessons for several years. They continually improve and love it! The enjoy participating in the plays and showcases and the family always has a great time when attending the extra activities, also.
Sabrina is teaching piano to my Kindergarten-aged twins. She is great with young kids and their parents. She's very flexible with her teaching, willing to adapt to the style that fits them best. The lessons have included a conga drum to learn keeping time, as well as opening up the piano to show how the inside works. The learning environment in her home is very relaxing, and helps to calm my very energetic boys. When my boys do get distracted, she can effectively rein them back in or use their curiosity as a teachable moment when appropriate.

I have actively been a part of the Lafayette community -- that is, in the musical department. I participated in Honors Choir and band at Faith Christian School, accompanied soloists for ISSMA as well as for the Bach Chorale Children's summer camp, and have studied privately for over 12 years. I was accepted into the music program at the private University of Indianapolis for music education and enjoyed my time there but am now working towards a management degree at the School of Krannert at Purdue University. Playing piano and singing have always been passions and hobbies of mine, so I would love to try teaching privately again.

First off, I love what I do. I think that's important for any music instructor to make a difference in his or her student's lives. I love the connection I develop with students and being able to monitor and mentor their progress as musicians. It's gratifying and fulfilling!
Love getting children off to a good and sound foundation in order to have a love of learning the piano. Something they will cherish all their life
