Rich is an excellent trainer! Although I initially trained with him one-on-one for a few sessions at a fitness club, the majority of my training stemmed from participation in his 6 week boot camps. I didn't think he'd be able to work with me because of all the physical limitations I had, but he adjusted the tensity of the training to suit my individual needs. He never once made me feel like it was a chore to work with me - which was very important and impressive to a person like me who think she's "untrainable" - nor did he make me feel like I was less of a participant because I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class. He was extremely patient, very sincere, hardworking and always exhibited a positive and encouraging demeanor - all of the characteristics you'd look for and want in a true and serious personal trainer. There's no other like RIch Ford!
I met Kevin McAndrews when I was invited to attend a boot camp style work out that he was leading. I was impressed with not only how challenging the program was but also how much fun he made it. The boot camp was held outdoors and Kevin was able to use the park resources and a few pieces of equipment that he brought to create several stations to rotate the group through and challenge each member based on their current fitness level an demonstrate modifications as needed. I signed up for several personal sessions when Kevin opened Train Your Way Fit. Kevin always challenged me and encouraged me to find opportunities to work out and incorporate fitness into my office and home environments. I highly recommend Kevin as a personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable and creative when it comes to fitness and is able to work with clients that are in the beginning of their fitness journey or experienced athletes looking for a new challenge to their existing workout.
I was really intimidated by the idea of trying boot camp but Todd has been really good at working with me. When I started, I couldn't do a single sit up or push up. I'm a non-athletic, almost-50 mom of 3 teenage girls. Now, I can do sit ups and push ups and all sorts of stuff I never thought I'd be able to do!
Schedule is flexible. Brittony offers boot camp classes as well as open gym workouts. She's constantly learning new work outs as well so she can pass it along to her clients and never let things get boring. She cares about everyone 110% and it shows daily. This gym is a great, truly judgement free zone and makes you feel good about yourself!
