I've been working with Jaime for almost a year. I didn't need to lose weight, but pretty much just needed to get in shape, get stronger and aim for that "toned" look that so many women are looking for. I've put on a couple pounds (again, I was too skinny, thats what I was looking for) of muscle. What is great about Jaime is that he listens to what you're looking for. So many trainers don't and assume everyone wants to lose weight. I keep asking to go heavier and heavier with the weights. He reigns me in so I don't hurt myself, but I'm now squatting 70 lbs, rowing 35 lbs, 35 lbs on each arm on chest presses (1 set only), and can do 20 pushups without cheating/assistance. For a little weakling, that a year ago I struggled with using 10 pound weights...I'm quite proud of what I can do now! My fiance has noticed my new "toned" look and comments on it all the time! :) Ladies, you want that toned look? Lift as heavy as you can. I am definitely not big, just getting tighter, stronger looking arms and legs. When you sign up with Jaime he gives you a heart rate monitor that you wear every time you workout. It helps to see how many calories you burned, average heart rate, and the time spent on the workout. He also gives you access to a personal online FitLog which you fill in with the info from your heart rate monitor and tracks your weekly progress. You can see where you met your weekly goals..and the weeks where you didn't. Oops. :) Jaime is helpful in that I was topping out on what I could do without a weight bench and he helped in finding me a good weight bench. He also went to Dick's for me and got me the 35 lb weights so I didn't have to cart them out of the store myself. And no, he's not a weirdo trainer trying to pick up on women. That was my biggest fear in using a personal trainer. He's just a nice guy trying to help his clients! He'll do it for his male clients too! I've had a good experience with Jaime. What I like best is that he listens to what you want and will customize your workouts to what you are asking for so you can work on your personal goals!
Elin designed a creative program to help my 9 year old son prepare for his martial arts tournaments. My son definitely made improvements in his strength, agility and stamina. Elin was also able to fine tune his kicking and blocking skills since he has experience in various self defense/fighting skills. Elin is quick to respond to emails/text/calls and has tremendous knowledge in the art of exercise, bodybuilding and nutrition. I highly recommend Elin and his team for anyone looking for a professional personal trainer.

If Dimitar weren't such an awesome physical trainer, I have no doubt he'd be a motivational speaker or life coach. Working out with Dimitar is never dull, because he's constantly switching up your routine, and exposing you to new things. I see a bunch of trainers working with other people, and I can honestly say none of them are as great and encouraging as Dimitar. While those other guys are just counting off reps, Dimitar is putting in work WITH you. He'll run alongside you, get down and join you for burpees (while talking, no problem), and somehow keep you going till the end of your session. Whether or not you have the strength to walk home afterwards, is on you.

Barb has made it possible for my life to be different in all of the best ways! I found myself waking up everyday and having a normal attitude of discouragement, sadness and depression. It was effecting my life and family in every way. I'm twenty five years old with Lord willing a long life ahead of me and I wanted to make a big and positive change! Sam Turay is a great personal trainer; he is highly attentive to helping his clients reach their personal goals through educating clients on the proper techniques of exercise and eating healthy. My first session he asked me about my eating habits, exercising style, he then in turn taught me about using proper form, worked with me while doing the exercises and instructioned how I could maximize my workout experiences even on days I wasn't working with him. He's down to earth, honest, and conducts business with integrity which is definately a plus for me. Any chance I get, I tell anyone I know who wants to reach their weight loss goals about him. If you're looking for someone who will be encourage you and support you...he's the man!
Convenience...Expertise...Results: I was looking for a personal trainer to get back into shape. I work in an Emergency Department with a schedule that has me going from a 7a shift to an 11p shift to a 3p shift all in the same week! Despite this crazy schedule, Arris has ALWAYS been able to schedule a time that was convenient for me! He was interested in learning about my health issues and my goals. As a matter of fact, once I got started, he helped me to loose 1-2 pounds each week! He designed a program specifically tailored to help me to get on the road to achieve my goals. He made modifications to my exercise regimen so that I was able to workout efficiently without concern that I would sustain further damage to my dodgy knee or exacerbate my plantar fasciitis. During one of my sessions, I mentioned to him that I was recently started on insulin. He listened to my concerns and, at our next session, it was quite clear that he had researched DM, as well as strategies to help me cope with fluctuations in my blood sugars that could occur with exercise. He has even offered to go grocery shopping with me to find foods that would help control my blood sugars, as well as give me energy. On the occasion when my schedule would not permit me to complete a session, Arris e-mailed me with a regimen that could be done at home. I trained with Ken at Prime Fitness for 2+ months and I benefited greatly from his patient, attentive, insightful training style. I had specific issues with form that I wanted to address as well as wanting to build strength for my high intensity boot camp workouts. I've struggled with my weight for years and have hired several personal trainers in order to lose my excess weight. Out of all the trainers that I've worked with, Julia is (by far) the one whose helped me out the most. I originally hired Julia in order for her to teach me how to properly use kettlebells. I used to refer to her as my kettlebell trainer. Julia went from being my kettlebell trainer to being "my trainer." By that, I mean that of the people I worked with at the time, she was my main go-to person because she's the one I actually trusted 100%. A lot of times, most personal trainers tell you what you want to hear and what I quickly realized about Julia is that she tells you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear. Julia doesn't sugar coat, instead she tells you what you need to do in order for you to get the results you're after. Julia taught me so many different exercises using kettlebells, my own body weight, animal flow and functional training. I used to weigh over 200 pounds and so far I've lost 40 pounds. I'm 23 pounds away from my goal weight. And my body fat percentage has decreased by 12% within a matter of a few short months. I started out at a very tight size 16 and now I'm a solid size 8 (and in some brands I fit into a size 6). Julia also taught me so much when it comes to food and nutrition. I used to have to take a picture of everything I ate and I used to have to text it to her at the time that I was going to eat my meal. I noticed that this helped me make more mindful choices when it comes to food. She also gave me better food suggestions every time she noticed that what I was eating wasn't a healthy choice. The selfish part of me wishes that Julia wouldn't have moved to Washington D.C. because as it is I'm still 23 pounds away from reaching my goal weight but on the bright side, ever since Julia left I haven't hired a different trainer and I've been successfully training myself 5 days each week. I've also continued to lose weight each week by weight lifting and eating proper nutrition. What she taught me is knowledge I'll have for life. The money I spent by hiring Julia is the best investment I've ever made for myself. I'm 2.5 months away from reaching my goal weight and to me that is priceless. Before Julia left Miami she also gave me lots of tips on how to successfully maintain my goal weight once I reach that point.
The experience that I had changed my life completely. I was unsure of what to expect during the appointment but she put me at ease as to what would take place, all of my questions and concerns were answered to where I was able to understand. During the intake portion I explained my concerns and experiences and based upon those helped me pick out areas that would be the best to achieve my goals. During the procedural session, she went over what would take place, some feelings and experiences that I may encounter and went over with me in great detail after the session of what the results were, what experiences that I may feel over the short term. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of the experience and would recommend it to my family and friends.
I've been training with Nate several times a week for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress, fitness level (strength, duration, flexibility), and the ongoing challenge and diversity of workouts -- they're never boring and incorporate strength, stability and core, time under tension, and functional training for every part of my body. In addition, Nate's a nice guy with a great sense of humor, so the workouts are tough but enjoyable. After his initial assessment, he continued to take the time to get know me individually and has a vested interest in my health, well being, strengths, and weaknesses (he enjoys identifying and having me work on my weaknesses!). Nate works hard with each of his clients and he customizes each workout for their individual needs and goals. In the 5+ years I've trained with him, Nate has never been late or missed a workout -- even in snowstorms! When I need to change a training appointment, Nate works very hard to find a time that is mutually beneficial. Finding the right personal trainer that had the proper knowledge, experience, equipment, interpersonal skills, and motivation to align with mine was tough; and I couldn't be happier to have found Nate. My investment in training with him has been more than worth it: I'm in great physical shape, my doctor asks if I've found the fountain of youth, and I've made a good friend in the process.

Tiffanie is gifted at meeting you at your level and helping you work through whatever you need in a way that is best for you...and she helps you find out what that best way is! She creates an environment that you feel very comfortable opening up in and asks you great questions to guide you along your path in life. It's also sprinkled with insight into what she sees and hears you saying that you don't pick up on. Overall, an amazing worthwhile experience that really gets you to that next step in your life!

I've known Kristin both professionally and personally for the better part of a decade now. She is one of the happiest, most energetic, outgoing human beings I've met. She's dependable and motivating. Simply, Kristin is the type of person you want to surround yourself with - especially while trying to achieve personal goals. I have always been an active person but hit a wall with workouts as my job become more time consuming. I have limited time and was looking for the best "bang for my buck." I was also simply bored doing the same routines time and time again. And to add to that, I was trying to loose body fat and build muscle... while training for a long distance running race. Not the easiest task, but I knew exactly who I was going to for help... At the time, Kristin was in FL, and I was living in VA. We setup a consultation and she immediately helped create an awesome plan tailored to my needs and goals. It was exciting to have something new and planned! The new moves were practical, not intimidating (but VERY challenging), and they were all planned and mapped out, so they didn't require too much brain power. I felt like I could just take the workout sheet she wrote for me and go to the gym without thinking, which was a huge bonus for me. I followed Kristin's custom 12 week plan and followed some of her nutrition suggestions. Did I do every workout or complete every rep? Nope. Did I rule out all junk food or wine? Nope. But by following her advice even 80% of the time, I lost over 2% body fat and PR-ed in a 10 mile race. Even being states away, Kristin was my accountability partner. I cannot give her a higher recommendation and by investing in her professional expertise, you'll be thrilled with that same investment to yourself... She helps gets you RESULTS!
Rashid is a great trainer who cares a lot about the well being of kids and will do anything to see you succeed in life!!! 1. I learned how to push myself when things got hard and I also I was taught how to fix my running technique with running hills forcing me to bring my knees up when I run. 2. I benefited a lot with the program because everything I did at a young age I already knew how to do it when I started playing high school football like doing the ladder drill and change of direction moments. Rashid would stay after practice with us and work on the things i needed to improve on for me I needed to work on tackling so I would stay after with him to work on it
Joanna was a wonderful listener and excellent person to speak with. She was there for me when I most needed her and helped me evolve as person. I have been to therapists in the past and have never felt as fulfilled as I did when I started having sessions with Joanna. A job of a good therapist is not to have their clients depend on them but to teach them how to fully function on their own and that is exactly what she did for me. She helped me to see the capabilities I hold within myself and I will forever be grateful for that.
