My experience with Josh has been great! I started seeing my results as early as two weeks into my training with him. He also offers great nutrition advice and ways to keep active on days we don't meet. He has a good way of knowing how far to push you without going past your limits. Definitely would recommend him for others!
I came to Chad after two years of running almost daily and feeling frustrated that my fitness had plateaued. I knew I needed to add resistance training to my routine, but was hesitant to do it on my own and unwilling to pay for a gym membership just to have the privilege of then also paying for a personal trainer. Chad was the perfect answer to all those problems. He has customized my training every session to keep things interesting and challenge me. He has a great personality and it's easy to stay engaged, motivated, and accountable while working with him. I can't recommend him highly enough!
I have used Ken's training service for several years now. I started in one of his boot camps with the goal of general fitness. After the first few sessions my body had the realization that things were going to be changing . body resistance and aerobic training with small hand weights thrown in, I felt a full body work out. I quickly saw significant results for a firmer, fitter more energetic me. The boot camp setting, with different fitness levels, Ken is able to modify the work out to individual needs. He's very cognizant of correct form encouraging a better work out avoiding injury. I have also used his service in a small group and one on one sessions. In these situations he can better tailor the work out to individual needs and goals. No matter the level of fitness Ken is easy to work with and I am confident anyone can see results.
I just had my first training session with Sarah. It was incredible. She really listens and understands. As someone who suffers from muscle and nerve pain every day due to fibromyalgia, I was concerned that a personal trainer would push my body too much and I would be struggling for a week after. Sarah has put my body at ease. She worked me enough that I feel a burn but my body isn't in agony. I am so happy to have found Sarah and I look forward to many, many more sessions with her! I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone!
David is a very professional trainer who helped me go from a size 10 to a size 6. He is very dedicated to seeing results achieved and pays close attention to each individual needs. While training with David, he was also taking courses to extend his knowledge of anatomy, physiology and nutrition, so he could better understand how to address diet and any pain associated with training. He is very accommodating to when it comes to scheduling sessions. David really enjoys training and seeing people succeed. It's not a job to him, but rather a career. Each time David relocated to a different health club, I followed him. He's that good at getting results and he pushes you to get where you want to be.
I've been training with Brian for almost two months now. Trust me... He is one of the most experienced and committed trainers I've ever seen. He always checking up on the diet and keeps track of myself which is great and I haven't seen that much with the past trainers I've had. He’s a great nutritionist with so much of knowledge. Great diet plans, if you are really motivated to do so. Talking from my experience, I lost over 14 lbs in four weeks. Im really committed and he knows my goals. He knows my limits and how to push myself little more every day. My fitness has increased noticeably. He is very reliable and on time, always set up and ready to start training with an exercise routine planned. He makes it fun and enjoyable to train and he is very motivating and encouraging. I started seeing Eric from a referral by my sister. I was currently doing lab testing and supplementation with my ND, and figured I would let Eric take a shot at my health issues. The first consult I overlapped with my ND, taking Eric's interpretation to her for review and 2nd opinion. Her response to his evaluation was that "he probably has more schooling, experience, and detailed knowledge about this evaluation than I do, so I think you are fine to work with him." I don't have insurance, so the cost of seeing Eric, or seeing my ND was pretty close to the same. After a slow year of testing and supplementation, we saw a few changes in the right direction. It wasn't until I finally started following his diet/exercise recommendations that the changes became much more obvious. I've always been on the "small" side for my weight, so I didn't really think my diet mattered much. Besides, I thought I ate relatively healthy anyways, and had fewer digestive symptoms after following a gluten free diet for the past year. I knew I wasn't in "optimal" health, but I didn't think his diet was necessary at first. But after a year of supplementation, he finally pushed that diet was the next step. Within just a few weeks of REALLY following his recommendations-- getting enough calories, timing of meals, walking every day, and WATER-- I could SEE a difference in my body, and felt a difference in my energy and moods. That let me know, ok ok, he's on to something. I just figured that his process was like my ND in that the blood work shows improvement but nothing I would physically see or feel a difference with. Now, almost two years later, (because of my own stubbornness in not wanting to continue this process) even though I still have some residual health issues, I also have the faith that by listening and really DOING what Eric recommends, we will be able to positively address those issues as well. Eric has helped me see my health like playing a sport. You have to commit to practicing the little things everyday, making good habits everyday, or else you will never see the progress you really are wanting to achieve. You can't be a successful athlete without practicing everyday. In the same, I can't expect to be in optimal health if I'm not willing to follow my "coaches" training recommendations on a consistent basis. When I do what he says, things work like they should...shouldn't that be enough proof for me? We will see in the next year. Regardless, Eric has shown he knows what he is doing, and has taught me to believe his ability to accurately evaluate and interpret what is needed for my optimal health...its up to me to actually follow through.
What I like best about Ted Owens is that he is smart, well educated, and funny. I picked Ted nearly a year ago to be part of a team of experts I was then assembling to REMAKE myself at age sixty-eight. I had packed on too many pounds, let my joints get stiff because of arthritis, and neglected both diet and exercise for over a decade. For several months I had also suffered a mysterious pain that limited movement in one arm and shouldera pain that even my orthopedic surgeon seemed unable to diagnose, let alone to fix. Ted has been very successful in motivating me to move again. We began slowly by repairing and strengthening my too long unchallenged muscles. Because of his multiple degrees and certifications, Ted simply knows more about the human body and how it works than do most folks who call themselves trainers. He is constantly able to adjust workouts to meet the needs and limitations of each client, whether that person is twenty or seventy. If one exercise hurts too much, hes always got another in mind that does not hurt but will accomplish the same end. It took a while, but the pain in my arm went away altogether. Not only that, my knee joints are now both stronger and more flexible than they have been in years. I no longer choose to sit out of family activities. In fact, I astounded my grown children last fall by joining them on a three-mile hike into the woods (six miles round trip!!) while vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Rather than following, I set the pace and led all of the young adults up the trail and then quickly climbed to the top of a waterfall while they were busy playing with my grandchildren in the stream sixty feet below. I wasnt even winded when we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm and ran most of the way back to our car. Want to feel twenty years younger, a great deal fitter, and much happier with yourself? Jill is great! She doesn't take any crap and won't give you any crap. She coaches you so you truly understand what you're doing with weight training, cardio, and food, instead of just telling you what to do and expecting you to do it. Jill will push you but she keeps your goals realistic and is never harsh or abrasive. I'm a big fan!
