This time, I decided I would need the help of a personal trainer to keep me focused, on task, and push me when I feel like I can't go further. Josh has gone beyond my expectations. I am not going to sit here and say that it is easy. He pushes you but does it with enough ease that you are not scared to come back. Your muscles will be in shock after the non-stop cardio but in the end, your body and mind will thank you. After all, that's why you are looking for a trainer right? It's not suppose to be easy. I've being working with Ken for the past three months and would very highly recommend him as a personal trainer. Right off the bat, Ken assessed my biggest weakness (balance) and over the span of a few weeks patiently built up my balance so that I was in a good position to move into more challenging exercises. Now, he's working with me in all my goofy awkwardness to make sure that I develop the correct technique while still getting a good sweaty workout. Ken also asks questions and listens. It's very clear he's aware of my fitness goals and completely supports them. He'll keep me on track without being intrusive (or judgmental) by asking important questions like "Did you do cardio today?" and "How's your food intake been?" More importantly, he's consistent with asking me how I feel every session and then modifies the workout to make sure I don't overtax any muscle groups or injure myself. And Guess what! I'm seeing amazing results! Better yet - people are noticing!! Since I starting working with Ken, my body fat has decreased by 4.73% and I've dropped 30 pounds! ... Watch out Little Black Dress - here I come :)

I started out super fluffy and out of shape. After 2 months, I'm now only sort of fluffy and almost have the strength and endurance I did when I was a teenager. I feel amazing. Ken pushes me to the very edge of my ability, and just when I start settling in and getting comfortable, he switches it up and pushes me to the next level. There's no way I could have achieved this on my own. He is personable, down to earth, and non-judemental...all very important to me. I've never hired a personal trainer before, but I can't imagine it going any better. If I had it my way, I'd hire Ken for the rest of my adult life.

I just had my first training session with Sarah. It was incredible. She really listens and understands. As someone who suffers from muscle and nerve pain every day due to fibromyalgia, I was concerned that a personal trainer would push my body too much and I would be struggling for a week after. I've been training with Brian for almost two months now. Trust me... He is one of the most experienced and committed trainers I've ever seen. I have LOVED everyday of my training with Andrea! I signed up for the 3 month training and nutrition program. From day 1, she has been so helpful in getting me where I want to be. My meal plan is delicious and is made up of food I actually enjoy eating. My fitness training is challenging, and pushing me to my limits. Most importantly, I am able to see gains in the gym which I never was able to achieve on my own. She keeps me accountable and won't let me settle for anything other than hard work and determination and I love that! Andrea got me started on good supplements, and off the junk I was taking before, and has taught me how to use them and most importantly, why I need them. She is always there for me when I need some motivation to keep going, have some questions, or just need to talk about my goals. I am a college student, so my schedule is always jam packed, but she does a great job of working with me and being flexible and understanding when I'm busy. Andrea is a wonderful trainer. She works well with who ever she is training, is quick to respond and adjust anything as needed if there is an injury issue or any other physical adjustments that's necessary for the trainee. As a martial artist, I tweak my body at times and Andrea works with me enough to keep training and still have time to heal. I tell her my goals and we work for it together. She is a trainer that pushes someone and encourages them. Working with Andrea I have gained so much strength and people around me can tell how much change my body went through from when I started out with her. Eating is a lot easier for me when she makes meal plans and we always discuss any changes that are necessary depending on my goals. I utilized the 8 Week Transformation program offered by Sarah's Limitless Fitness by Sara. I have always struggled to maintain a consistent diet and workout plan. With this program, Sarah was able to create a meal plan that fit my busy lifestyle. I currently travel 60% of the year, meaning I spend more than half of the year in a hotel room. Sarah was able to adjust my meal plan that accommodated this lifestyle, and in addition, provided me with work out plans that I could either do in my hotel room or the gym the hotel provides. What I like best about Ted Owens is that he is smart, well educated, and funny. I picked Ted nearly a year ago to be part of a “team of experts” I was then assembling to REMAKE myself at age sixty-eight. I had packed on too many pounds, let my joints get stiff because of arthritis, and neglected both diet and exercise for over a decade. For several months I had also suffered a mysterious pain that limited movement in one arm and shoulder—a pain that even my orthopedic surgeon seemed unable to diagnose, let alone to fix. Ted has been very successful in motivating me to move again. We began slowly by repairing and strengthening my too long unchallenged muscles. Because of his multiple degrees and certifications, Ted simply knows more about the human body and how it works than do most folks who call themselves “trainers.” He is constantly able to adjust workouts to meet the needs and limitations of each client, whether that person is twenty or seventy. If one exercise hurts too much, he’s always got another in mind that does not hurt but will accomplish the same end. It took a while, but the pain in my arm went away altogether. Not only that, my knee joints are now both stronger and more flexible than they have been in years. I no longer choose to “sit out” of family activities. In fact, I astounded my grown children last fall by joining them on a three-mile hike into the woods (six miles round trip!!) while vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia. Rather than following, I set the pace and led all of the young adults up the trail and then quickly climbed to the top of a waterfall while they were busy playing with my grandchildren in the stream sixty feet below. I wasn’t even winded when we were caught in a sudden thunderstorm and ran most of the way back to our car. Want to feel twenty years younger, a great deal fitter, and much happier with yourself? Marco is a great and personalized trainer. Needed a trainer for my 16 yr. old son who is a swimmer, so he could get good dryland strength training to get stronger. We were with him a little over a month(schedule changes on our end made us unable to continue) and saw drastic improvements in strength and flexibility. Marco came to our house late at night after swim practice to meet our needs. When my son outgrew this he met us at the gym, once again late at night, fitting into our schedule. I would recommend Marco for anyone seeking individualized training, he is very professional and courteous.

Sometimes I felt overwhelmed by so much stuff, but I could pick and choose what I wanted to read about more in depth. Better too much than too little. Amy is such a kind person and she's very detailed in her work. At your first meeting with her, she asks very detailed questions to really try and identify what diet and workout plan is going to be best for you. I recently had a baby and I've tried for about 6 months to get the weight off. After being unsuccessful, I went to Amy for help and I lost weight in the first week. The diet is easy to follow because she lays everything out in detail. The workout plan is the same, very easy to follow and if you have any questions she responds to texts and emails very quickly.
