Having been a student of music and the drums for 20 years I have had experiences with many teachers. Some were good and some were not so good, but I learned something from each of them.
I am passionate about sharing my love and knowledge of the drums with students eager to learn. All of my lessons are made for the individual student and not just based out of method books. Method books are an important part of study, however I strongly feel that augmenting them with real life musical examples is essential for the developing musician.
The musical experiences I have had throughout my professional career have been widely varied. I have played jazz at restaurants and weddings, original and cover band rock shows, concert halls, school cafeterias, living rooms, outdoor festivals, clothing stores, libraries, you name it I've probably been there sitting behind the drums!
All of these musical experiences in a variety of genres give me a lot to draw from when working with and encouraging students.
