About

Took lessons from Andy from 94' to 97'...I had been playing for ten years up to that point. He showed me things that gave me so many A-HA moments in my guitar playing. He also gave me the nickname 'hot licks'..because of my propensity for wanting to try to play fast all the time. He was very personable and patient...and funny. These lessons didn't only teach me new ideas that made my playing almost immediately better...these lessons also taught me how to approach learning. Hard to believe its already been 20 years!

About

Jessica has been amazing for me. First off, she has a very pleasant personality---which is always helpful. I contacted Jessica because I have sleep apnea and read that singing lessons could be helpful in building up the throat muscles and developing better breathing. I have also wanted to take voice lessons so it was two birds with one stone for me. I have been taking weekly lessons for about a month now and am already seeing improvement in both my voice and, more importantly, in my sleep quality. Jessica has gone the extra mile for me in finding voice exercises which will assist in my apnea. She has been doing some online researches and has even ordered a book on the subject. She is fun to work with and it is obvious that this is less about money than it is about her passion for music. Her rates are extremely reasonable and she is generous with her time. I look forward to many more lessons with her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Jessica is a true professional. If you have ever thought about voice lessons you cannot go wrong giving her a call.

About

Both of our daughters, 10 and 13 years old, took voice lessons with Rachel. She is a wonderful voice teacher that not only offered great instruction but also recommended song choices suited for each of their very different voices. She also taught my little one to sight read in preparation for her audition to a Performing Arts Center. As parents, we saw our girl's talent blossom under her instruction. Rachel is so patient and encouraging with her students. She is an awesome teacher that we enjoyed having for several years before she relocated from Florida. We miss her very much!!!

About

My 11yr. old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Stan since she was 5. We have been very happy. She was a very shy, sensitive child and I was afraid she would be turned off to music lessons if we got the wrong instructor. Stan has been so great with her. He is incredibly knowledgable with music, but also connects great with kids. His kind demeanor and supportive words of advice have helped her in all aspects of her life. His love of music is contagious and she always leaves their feeling confident and positive. Great musician - Great Person. I highly recommend Stan Munslow!

About

I was petrified the first day that I headed for voice lessons with Joel. I just did not know what to expect. What if I had zero talent? What if I could not follow his guidance? etc. Experience has shown Joel to be the most accommodating (although still requesting of genuine efforts), concerned, kind, capable and PATIENT instructor of all. I now am terribly lighthearted when heading to my voice lessons, which have now become my most favorite time slots. And, I feel a strong sense of accomplishment, worthiness and even empowerment as my singing improves.

About

I offer private voice lessons. Music With Shayna offers private, voice lessons to students from my studio in Warwick! My students are of varied ages and skill levels, so all are welcome to give singing a try. Our lesson will always be fun. It will also be productive. We will work on areas that the student wants to improve on, and I will offer constructive criticism, all with a positive outlook. I provide recitals for my students several times a year. You will have the chance to show your family and friends what you have learned from our lessons! During the lessons, I like to focus on the students' strengths, and I will find songs that highlight the students' best qualities in their voice. Our lessons will start with warm-ups, and after your voice is ready to go, we will learn and practice songs that I have selected for you with your interests in mind. As our lessons progress, you will be able to sing with a stronger, healthier voice and overall, you'll just sound better!
