After having trouble with out of the box tax software that actually resulted in an IRS audit and my wife and I having a more complicated-than-usual tax year we needed an actual tax professional to handle our return. We found Joshua on Thumbtack and it was easy from there. He was available to meet around our work schedules. We handed over our documentation and explained our finances and in a short amount of time he completed our return and maximized our refund. Prices were comparable to any self-service tax software and cheaper than any of the chain tax filing services. We'll be going back to him next year.
