My son as a 15 year old was very hesitant about taking voice lessons. Chelsea has made him very comfortable and takes the time to assist him in advancing his skills. She has been a great asset to him. I would recommend her 100%.
Stanley has been my voice teacher for several years now. He's totally engaged and attentive, hears every subtlety (good and bad) and is very patient with a poor student like me. I recommend him to everyone looking for a teacher.
Taking voice lessons with Ms. Kephart helped me grow tremendously as both a singer and performer. She is kind, lively, and always willing to experiment new things with me. The lessons were individualized, focused on the specifics that I needed to improve upon so they were efficient and helpful. She gave me a lens into professional singing through the lessons as well. It was a great pleasure working with her!
My daughter has been taking voice lessons and absolutely loves going. She's only seven years old and has already learned so much and it's taught in a manner that allows her to totally understand and put all techniques into practice. Her teacher gives her full attention at each lesson and makes sure that the time you've paid for is used for you. I highly recommend them!
Kevin was very nice and responsive- had a vocal lesson with him and felt myself improve and better understand my voice with even one lesson. Extremely personable and easy to work with- also does group lessons which is a huge plus!
Joni is very pleasant and nice to work with. I am a beginner and was nervous about starting lessons. It was easier for me than I thought it would be and I'm excited to pursue my dreams! I believe Joni made it feel that way because of her respectful, helpful and kind approach. I feel she knows her stuff and brings a lot to the table. I definitely recommend you give her a try!
I recently retired and with no prior music training decided to learn how to play the violin. I contacted Sarah Smongeski at Pakachoag Music School asking for lessons. Sarah not only met my need but explained that I would also gain self-confidence, not worry about making mistakes, take chances on new experiences, improve my memory, and have fun learning to play the violin. I discovered that music is a life-long learning experience. I am happy to be a student of Pakachoag Music School where Sarah and her professional staff will teach and support me along the way.
I love working with Rowen....so much that I came back. I took lessons with her for about 6 years and than took a 3 1/2 year break & came back. I couldn't be happier...I learn so much from her!! She has wonderful advice about life in general, very talented, and so kind. She is one of the sweetest & most patient women you will ever meet. She takes her time in the lesson, and devotes the time to her student. She is willing to go over a piece that you are working on as many times as you need to. She has patience. She has a beautiful voice. She is very helpful and makes reading music seem easy! She is very organized with her teaching, it may seem like baby steps but it is all worth it. You have to start with the basics no matter what instrument you play! Rowen is great, I use to play in her recitals she held once every year. Those were wonderful, she really knows how to make her students feel like a star. Worth every penny!!!!
Joshua is accessible and has a calm, relaxed teaching style. He has expertise in modern Jazz harmony and technique, but I think he could teach any style. I highly recommend.
Bev Silver is a great piano teacher per my 14 year old son who has been taking lessons since he was 10!
Steve has been giving me voice lessons (baritone/bass) roughly weekly for four years. He has helped me improve my singing in many ways including development of a free sound, better vowel quality, use of vibrato (aka "movement"), fuller breaths, and attention to musicianship. Steve also has been patient and adaptable. I do not practice very much outside of lessons and am not open to solo performance, but Steve is willing to work with those limitations. He also has been flexible regarding travel, teaching me at my workplace. Steve's relaxed, low-key style and clever exercises put me at ease and help me to do my best singing. I strongly endorse Steve as a voice teacher.
I am a singer/actress who teaches voice lessons and can coach young actors who would like to pursue the arts. I am a graduate of the Boston Conservatory where I studied music, theatre and dance. My education gave me a great foundation for teaching. I also have a wide variety of repertoire and can help my students find the perfect songs for their voices. I have studied musical theatre, pop, country, jazz, opera and rock. I can also assist young actors in developing their skills, whether they want to try out for the school play, prepare for college auditions, or just want to try it out. As a performer, my career has taken me all over the world. Last year, I did a concert tour throughout Japan with the Tokyo Philharmonic. I have also worked for The Walt Disney Company and Royal Caribbean.

I have taught kids swim lessons before, and I am certified by Red Cross with a lifeguarding and water safety certificate, as well as CPR and First Aid training/ certificates. I have also given Piano and Voice lessons before and will be attending music school in the fall for opera studies to further broaden my studies in music. I am not just opera based, although that is the best thing for my voice. I also teach jazz, pop, and healthy musical singing! Singing should be something that is always fun, and freeing, so why not learn how to do it in the most comfortable, fun, and healthy way possible? As a teacher, I will recognize what my client would like to work on (whether it be a style of music, music history, music theory, or even basic piano lessons), while hopefully providing valid insight on how to really engage one's voice healthily. Voice lessons are very affordable (first 30 minute session free). Although I have given voice lessons at a regular rate before, I really would like the opportunity to meet new people and hopefully help them explore the amazing opportunities and fun times that go along with singing!
