I can't say enough good things about Elin Personal Training and my trainer Alek. He is so particular about breathing and form, he keeps me motivated, has new exercises every time we meet and is very encouraging. I did not do any exercise before we started and I was nervous but I would highly recommend him. He's always on time and I would highly recommend this service. Very very worth it!!

I like to think I know when I'm doing when it comes to weight loss as I've lost over 275 pounds over three years. Then I hit a very frustrating eight month plateau and decided I needed help. That's when I met Agnese and employed her to get me back on track. I complain a lot when working out with her but I have now lost weight seven straight weeks and counting. Agnese is encouraging, disciplined and perhaps most importantly fun to train with. She has a way to push you harder to earn her approval and while she freely offers praise she is quick to correct you if you get lazy with form or effort. Agnese is certified to train for any fitness goal you may have. Our group training is made up of a variety of ages with a diverse end result as goals. I first started working out with Cornelius about one year ago, after my girlfriend encouraged me to give personal training a try. I used to be one of those guys who thought personal trainers weren't necessary for a good workout, so I was hesitant at first – but I followed my girlfriend's advice and signed up for a few sessions with Cornelius. After our first workout, I knew I'd be coming back for more. When I first started training I was WEAK, even though I had been jogging regularly. I had rarely stretched or worked on building strength. I also wasn't eating well. Cornelius immediately recognized these holes in my training regimen and started developing workout and diet plans to help me build strength at a healthy pace. Due to my lack of stretching, many of my muscles and joints were incredibly tight – but Cornelius' taught me exercises and stretches that would help me build strength and loosen that tightness without causing injury. Thanks to Cornelius, I feel stronger and look healthier. The girlfriend who got me started with training has even pointed out improvements to my energy levels and confidence. The fitness plans Cornelius has built around my personal needs have been perfect. Throughout our workouts, he has been very relaxed and great to talk to – but he also knows when to push me to workout harder. I look forward to each of our sessions, and I strongly recommend him to others.

When I first decided I needed a personal trainer, I started checking out the personal trainers at the gym where I was a member. I watched how they interacted with their clients, and the training they gave them. Most of the trainers seemed disinterested in their work, and were either chi-chatting with other members of the gym while training their clients, or checking their cellphones while training. When I checked out Janet, she was always one on one and very focused with her client. Thats when I decided Janet was the one for me. Janet is extremely knowlegeable, not only about personal training, but also about proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle. She has been my personal trainer for over 3 years now. I am going on 57 years old, and thanks to her, I feel and look much younger, and I am very thankful our paths crossed.

I have been working out with Denise for just over 2 years. She is very knowledgeable about fitness training ~ whether it is using machines or "boot camp" type regimens using body weight, kettle bells, dumb bells, resistance bands or resistance balls. She also has good nutritional information to go along with the workouts as well. If you can't make it to the gym, she will come to you....

I highly recommend Sean if you are looking to work with a personal trainer who not only has great work ethics but also is very knowledgeable in his field and above all has a great personality. He mixes the workouts so you would not get bored doing the same set always. He is flexible if one has to change time slots and above all is really passionate and dedicated towards his job.

Timothy is Arguably the best personal trainer in Columbia, MD area. I explained my fitness goals, and within the first few sessions, I could see results. I recently started working out with Russel and I am so glad that I found him on Thumbtack. Russel is very punctual and professional but also every knowledgeable about health and fitness. I have a severe ankle injury from a car accident. He makes sure we do exercises that work my legs but that do not aggravate my ankle any further. He comes up with tough routines but he is very encouraging and motivating. He really listens and plans my workouts based on the areas I really want to target and improve. I would highly recommend Russel to anyone that is looking for a results driven personal trainer that also makes it fun.

I've been training 1:1 with Matt for a couple of months, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He helped me form fitness goals within our first two sessions and is patient and encouraging but also pushes me and holds me accountable. He clearly knows his stuff and is very attentive to form so as to avoid injuries. I meet with him weekly, but he's also available to advise and support me outside of our scheduled sessions. Very knowledgeable and experienced trainer!

I've been working with Steve for about 2 years now and have noticed great improvements. For me, we generally do a full body workout in a circuit-style training. Recently I've told him about my lower back pain and he's catered the exercises and stretches to help with that. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and he'll work with you to figure out what is best for your body and your goals. He's also very flexible with hours which is great with my work hours. He'll also work with your diet and give suggestions for food choices and lifestyle changes so that you can meet and maintain your fitness goals. If you're looking for a personal trainer, especially if it's your first time, I would definitely suggest considering Steve.

I've been training with Marshall for a few weeks now and am already very happy with the personal training and nutrition plan he has provided. First off, you will not find a better trainer for the money than Marshall in the greater Baltimore area. His prices are about half of what I paid at a boutique personal training studio in Baltimore City and half or more than other quotes I received. Secondly, the training he has provided has pushed me like no other trainer has pushed me before. His detailed workout routines and cardio plans have me seeing results already. He has also provided me with a detailed and easy-to-follow meal plan at no additional charge. If you are looking to get into shape, or just looking to get into better shape, I highly recommend Marshall without hesitation.
