LONG POST ALERT: Just finished the 2nd week of my new fitness plan at KU Fitness. I'm already down 10 pounds and 2% body fat! I HIGHLY recommend the training plan they offer but it isn't required in order to join the gym. This isn't like Planet Fitness. Kirby and his staff are certified in every area of fitness, health and safety. Everyone is easygoing and open to answering questions. If you decide to sign up for personal training, prepare to get your butt kicked. Workouts are intense but effective. They also offer MMA/Boxing classes in the evening. Price is affordable and you get more bang for your buck then you would at Golds Gym, etc. With Covid concerns, its cool to see they have a staff that constantly cleans the entire gym throughout the day. They also require cleaning of all equipment after use. Gym is spacious and has every machine you would need to get your workout in. More like a fitness club than just a basic gym. I'll continue to update this review with photos as my fitness journey continues!!
