Mimi was great her work is impeccable. My daughter and her friends loved their face painting. She even painted the adults faces because they saw the great job she did with the kids. Her princess (Rapunzel) was also great with the kids she knew how to keep them engaged and she really did an awesome job. Definitely booking them next year. Kevin was super responsive both in his timely replies and in meeting all my needs for my party. It was a birthday party for a 3 year old so I wanted food for kids and adults. He was on time and delivered the goods! He was great to work with!!!
Sam helped with our daughter's birthday party. There were 27 children there and Sam made sure everyone received balloons... He stayed beyond the contracted time and was so gracious! I hope i have a reason to call him back!
CraftyMom provided the entire bridal party floral arrangements (from bouquets to boutineers to wrist corsages), pew floral arrangements, candle favors AND delicious cookie favors. I procrastinated a bit so I didn't reach out as early as I would have liked but that didn't matter, the job was done well and timely. We had several in-person meetings (which helped me to figure out exactly what I liked and wanted), and multiple phone and email correspondence, so I felt in the loop each step of the way, which I appreciated. Pricing was fair and making payment(s) was simple. CraftyMom delivered the bouquets and corsages to my home at least a week before and on the day of the wedding, she delivered the cookie favors, set up the pew arrangements, and was able to assist with boutineers. Number(s) breakdown: about 170 guests, 4 bridesmaids, 1 Maid of honor, 4 groomsmen, 1 Best man, 2 flower girls, 1 ring bearer, 4 parents (of bride and groom), 1 grandparent, 2 hosts, and 1 hostess. Just awesome and easy to work with!! I'll definitely be seeking service in the future!

Candra was hired as the event coordinator for a 50th birthday party. She took care of everything from the decorations, food, cake, even the event location. The food was delicious. Everyone had a great time! Wonderful to work with. Will certainly hire her again in the future.
April with ALD Events is amazing. I hired April to do my daughter's Bat Mitzvah on June 10, 2017. As with any event a person puts on I was truly worried about how everything would turn out. To my surprise everything was amazing. When I arrived at the venue for my daughter's party April was there with a smile on her face and seemed to have everything under control With the short amount of time she had to set everything up, she got it all done. Everything looked amazing. The tables looked so pretty with the table clothes, napkins, chair covers and sashes. I wish I had a picture to post how amazing everything looked. I would highly recommend April, her services were of great quality and her prices amazing. I want to Thank You April for helping make my daughter's party look beautiful.

I chose Denean's Party by Design to help with "day of" coordination for my wedding in Baltimore. Hands down, best decision I have ever made in my life. Denean and Teresa were extremely professional and thorough to make sure every detail of my special day was absolutely the way I wanted it. Since it was "day of," I did a majority of the legwork with decor and planning, but the set-up and presentation was even better than I ever imagined. Having these ladies present at the wedding ensured that the timeline moved along smoothly, all of my concerns were addressed immediately, and just overall provided a phenomenal experience. My guests went out of their way to note how extremely well-run the event was, and how friendly and personable the team was. You can tell they really love what they do. One of the most memorable moments that stood out to me was when my (slightly clumsy) husband stepped on the back of my dress and ripped the bustle off. Within 5 minutes and without missing a beat, Denean had expertly secured my dress with a large safety pin (you couldn't tell!) and I was back out on the dance floor. Personal touches like that are why I would absolutely recommend this team and would use them without hesitation for any future party/event planning needs!
My husband and I hired Floyds DJ Services for our May 13, 2017, ceremony in Woodbridge, Va. Finding a DJ had proven to be my toughest task during the wedding planning phase. . . that is, until Kacey responded to my request for information. She's pleasant, easy to work with and was always responsive. The constant threat of rain for our outdoor ceremony has us wavering on whether we'd be outdoors or move the ceremony inside. Kacey remind flexible as we didn't make the final call until just hours before the ceremony was to start. We were lucky enough to have BOTH Kacey and her husband, DJ Unknown, for our ceremony and reception. He is a GREAT hype man, and together, they read the crowd and played the right mix of old-school jams (as I requested) and current Top 40 Hits (including a ton of songs from my personal playlist suggestion). DJ Kacey even got on the dance floor to lead the crowd into a line dance and help get the party started. Their sound system was super crisp and there wasn't a single glitch! We had selected a final song to be played, and when it came time, DJ Kacey and DJ Unknown surprised us with a PHENOMENAL send off by having our guests line up in a receiving line to end the day. In a word, it was pure magic! Floyds DJ Services is a true example of exceptional quality that doesn't break the bank. I'd recommend them 10 times over! -Kevin G.
I loved everything about working with Dianna of Catering reserved! From start to finish she delivered everything she promised, including delicious food! She was prompt, creative, and thorough in her proposal; she worked with me to refine my needs and I was very comfortable with my final decisions; Her pricing was affordable and fair and most importantly she promised there would really be enough food to feed everyone and there was! She promised it would be delivered on time (it was), that her staff would set it all up nicely without my help (he did!) and that it would be hot and delicious (and it was!). Nothing was forgotten; nothing was omitted. The serving utensils were there, the sterno, and the clear containers were perfect for serving the food in. I didn't need china serving dishes for my event, but Dianna does offer that and if my next event needs Catering Reserved's full service, I won't hesitate to use it. (Food plus waitstaff for setup and clean up.) I've never met Dianna in person, and I never tasted her food prior to hiring her for my very important event, but from our first conversation I just knew I could trust her, and I was right. I highly recommended her! Thanks to Catering Reserved, I got to visit with my guests and totally enjoy my "after-the-wedding" party.
I brought We Plan - You Party into my wedding planning towards the end for decorating our space. What I wanted was an extra touch to make my wedding feel like me. They did a great job with the decorating. The communication could have been improved, but overall I am very happy with the job they did.
I used MJM Events to bartend for a recent large shower I hosted for my daughter and they were excellent in all phases from pre-party planning and beginning with signature drink selection and providing shopping lists. Mary was fantastic to work with - she arrived early to set-up and even brought extra equipment in case we also may have needed additional items for the food service aspect. Due to inclement weather people arrived later and stayed later and Mary stayed an hour later than she was scheduled to and was so helpful with flawless execution from beginning to end. My party was a huge success with the help of MJM Events so I highly recommend this company and I'll definitely use them and and Mary again!
Angelica was a god send! She was on top of everything. I didn't have to worry about food being replenished or drinks being refilled. She cleaned up after our guests and made my son's high school graduation party a success. My husband and I were able to enjoy being hosts with Angelica covering the other activities. I will use Party Helpers for all parties moving forward!

Working with Erin was the absolute best decision My Husband and I made when planning our wedding. She listened to everything that we wanted and made our dream wedding come true. Her team was professional and made themselves available throughout the entire planning process. Even on our wedding day they made the events elegant and smooth without any hiccups. Erin has an amazing eye for what she does and I am so thankful that I met her! We started planning our June wedding in January and she was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I was a full time student and worked full time and I didn't have to stress over a wedding because she was so involved and ensured that this process was not a stressful one. It is hard to overstate my satisfaction with Chef Giovanni's work. My dinner plan wasn't simple - I was doing a surprise dinner party for 100 at a vineyard deep in Virginia wine country. The meal required travel, setting up an intimate dining space for two in a space designed for bigger events, and doing it all with few phone calls or other direct communications to keep the surprise. Chef just nailed it. He created a beautiful, creative set up; his cooking is superb, mindful and delicious; and his demeanor is calm, reassuring and fun. I enjoyed everything about it and would recommend him to anyone doing an event from intimate dinner party to a larger event. Chef Giovanni is a true talent and a delight to work with.
