Lisa is an outstanding trainer and goes beyond the normal bounds of the physical training aspect. She understands that physical fitness is tied to your diet as well. She has been outstanding in helping my wife and I design our exercise routine and diet not just for a quick weight loss but for a lifetime of healthy living. Their aren't enough accolades to express our satisfaction with Lisa's training, physical and diet, and her sincere friendship as well. I have worked with another trainer who I thought was outstanding but now experiencing Lisa, she takes it to another level. If anyone is considering working with a trainer you will not find anyone better.

I have been a health club "member" for the past 20 years. Seven months ago, I was looking to step things up a bit and felt that the classes at my gym were becoming too mundane. That's when a friend of mine recommended going to a Boot Camp class at Iron Works. After that 1st class I was hooked! Lori is known for mixing things up, adding new and challenging fitness routines, and customizes workouts to meet the needs of all of her clients. The gym itself is spacious, clean, kid friendly and has a full spectrum of fitness equipment for all fitness levels. Over the past seven months I have taken personal training and boot camp classes from Lori. She is a fun, energetic, goal oriented and supportive instructor who continues to help push me so that I can reach my fitness goals. Lori Johnson and Iron Works is exactly what I was looking for.

Chris is an excellent well rounded personal trainer. He is very passionate about what he does and very caring about each individual person he works with. Not only does he provide a good work-out routine (in the gym and homework) but he also provides powerful insights on nutrition to help you get to your goals. Several times I was struggling with life itself so he took the time and talked through these items with me to encourage me, keep me moving forward and keep me motivated with my fitness goals during those hard times. He does a great job providing a wide variety of work-outs so your never bored. Over the past year, I have yet to do a work-out with him that is the same. He has intense hard calorie burning workouts, heavy weight lifting workouts, and area focused workouts that are tailored to your specific goals. Being a tennis competitor I have had to wear a knee brace for the past 4 years. With his strength training program, and working through my knee injuries I have been without a knee brace for 4 months now! On top of that I'm quicker on the court and can really jump up and take tennis balls out of the air for a more aggressive play. Recently I became sectionals tennis champion and am a national qualifier for the Indian Wells tournament. He has gotten me to my goals and so much more! Hands down best personal trainer out there! Extremely recommend!
I really enjoyed my personal training experience with Chad. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and is great at adapting workouts for the needs of his clients. Chad helped me design a training regime for my half marathon - including advice on stetching and cross-training. I would highly recommend him as a trainer.
Amanda is a phenomenal trainer. I have been working with her for the past few years, at times more intensely (up to 3 times per week) or as infrequently as once a week for maintenance. She motivates and pushes me, but she is also very tuned-in to any injury or pain I might be having and offers up modifications to reduce the chance of further injury. Right now I'm 8-months pregnant and still work out with her. She's very knowledgable about safe exercises and can gear our sessions to help with any hip or sciatica pain I might be experiencing. I love how she combines Yoga, HIIT, and circuit training so that each workout feels different and challenging. Can't recommend her enough!
I've been training with Chad for just over a year, and I have seen awesome results. He will personalize your regiment to suit your goals. The work is hard, but the results speak for themselves. Sessions tend to last about an hour, depending on the intensity of the training. Good dietary advice, great attitude, and years of experience. I recommend highly.

It was a great experience and one that I highly recommend. She was knowledgeable and very supporting. As a male, I felt comfortable and at ease training with her. We setup a training program and she gave me excellent instruction on how to do the exercise in the proper way. It was the perfect balance between knowing my limitations and make progress.
Leah is amazing. In the midst of a road trip through Minnesota, I attended her Wobble 2 class as a way to de-stress and exercise while travelling. Leah's calm, clear leadership included just the right amount of intense workout and deep relaxation. I left feeling happily transformed and in my body again. When I travel through Minnesota again, I won't hesitate to come back.
Jayme, 24 Bartender Training since 3 months Goals: To improve muscle definition and overall tone through incorporating weight lifting into my cardio-dominated workout regime. Reason for starting/continuing: I was having a hard time staying motivated at the gym due to the fact that nearly all of my routines were cardio focused. I was ready to get off of the hamster wheel of treadmills and elliptical machines and work more technical and effective exercises into my routine. I realized quickly that my lack of experience and confidence in weight training was hindering my fitness goals. Once I started training with Drew at Fitness Garden, I became aware of the results I was capable of achieving through learning proper technique and dedicating myself to weight training workouts. I began to see changes in my muscle tone and overall personal confidence and energy within weeks of beginning my training. Thoughts on Training Methods: I appreciate the expertise that Drew provides in terms of every exercise that he works into my sessions. His knowledge on technique and safety is extremely reassuring in instances of self doubt or physical capability. Drew is also very good at providing high intensity sessions; I always leave feeling accomplished. What do you like about Fitness Garden? I like the personal experience that is provided by Fitness Garden. There are an endless number of certified personal trainers, however, it is difficult to find one that understands your goals and has a passion for helping you achieve them. Drew is extremely attentive and helpful inside and outside of the gym. He is encouraging, compassionate, and flexible which are all attributes that I have failed to find in other gyms and trainers. Overall, working with Drew and observing his obvious ambition and enjoyment of fitness has further motivated my own fitness journey.
I am grateful to have Amara as my personal trainer. His professionalism and passion for his craft are contagious. Amara has helped me not only with strength and endurance training, but he has shown me how to translate what I learn in the gym into positivity in my life.
I have been working out at Studio ME for more than two years and couldn't be happier with the experience and results. When I started there it had been a couple of years since I had really worked out and I was a little nervous, but they are very welcoming. You'll see people who are beginners and people who are ultra-fit. I've gained strength and lost body fat and inches. The location is excellent - right in NE Minneapolis/Saint Anthony Main near the river with a beautiful view of downtown. They offer personal training, plus a lot of group fitness classes - everything from high intensity interval training (HIIT) to yoga. Highly recommend!
John Mumm was the first trainer that I have ever had, and I have to say, he was excellent. From the workouts, to supplements and nutrition, everything was planned out step by step by him. He provided an intense regimen, and never let me quit. While being hard on me, he was fair, and did not make me do anything that would be detrimental to my health. I highly recommend john to anyone wanting to change their life for the better.
