Flat Rate Quote to move a portion of a 5 bedroom home 26 miles - estimation of 8 hrs - Movers were over 2 hrs late (they ran out of gas) - Movers drove onto my lawn at my new home and damaged my brand new driveway all along the side of AND tore up the newly laid sod - Movers drove onto the lawn at my old home - Damaged un assessed - Possibly damaged the underground sprinkler system at both homes - The platform they placed on my front decking gouged up and scratched the brand new front porch - An estimated 8 hr job took 16 hrs - After 16 hours - they still left the following items behind that were part of the initial walk through of items to be moved: - Patio Furniture - Clothing / Coats in Closets - All Lampshades - Glass Table Tops - Treadmill (they wanted to charge me extra to move this) - Lawn Mower / Compressor / Snow Blower (They claimed they needed a special license to move these items) - Kitchen Chairs Due to the extensive damage caused by their negligence, I have deferred payment of services until they repair/replace the items damaged which equates to several thousand dollars (Their quote to move = $950) They have filed a claim with their insurance company, however, I have communicated that I will defer payment until I receive satisfaction on the damages which has yet to occur. TK Movers is now threatening to sue ME / place liens on MY home and ruin MY credit if I don't pay them immediately.

TK Movers did a fantastic job. They were on time. Travis came with his two sons and they were friendly, efficient and very nice. They showed me damage ahead of time when there was some to make sure I was aware. They worked in very hot weather and it did not even seem to affect them. They were great about making sure my animals did not get out. They moved furniture to the rooms I wanted, and when I changed my mind on a couple of heavy pieces they were very nice about changing where they had originally been asked to set them up. I would definitely recommend TK movers.

90% of what this company states about themselves is false. My move was on July 23rd, 2021. 1. No masks, gloves, or sanitation completed. 2. We were scheduled to start at 10am. The night before the moved, I received a message asking to start at 9am. I said sure, and the additional help (family/friends) came early so we could get this done quickly. The movers went to the end location in Eagan, instead of the starting location in Maple Grove. They didn't get to the correct location until 1030am. 3. Yes, they have shrink wrap and moving blankets (lots in fact), too bad they don't know how to use these items. Majority of my furniture wasn't protected and ALL OF MY NEW FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED! (Pictures attached). I quit taking pictures at some point because I continued to find more damages. 4. I hired movers to ONLY move my furniture because it's brand new. My family and friends moved everything that was not the furniture. I've had my furniture less than 6 months, and I'm still paying on it for the next 2.5 years. In total they damaged 3 dressers, 2 nightstands, 2 head boards, 2 foot boards and the railings, my entertainment stand, rips in my brand new king size mattress, rips in my brand new sectional couch, my curio cabinet, my dinning table and chairs. 90% of my furniture is brand new, and IF I ever want to sell it I've now lost the opportunity. 5. The movers left the screws to my king size bed frame and kitchen table in the beginning location. At first they expected me to drive from Eagan to Maple Grove to pick them up. Fortunately they were nice enough to bring them to me the following evening. During the time the mover came to bring my screws on July 24th, I was instructed (from chats in this app) to show him all of the damages. Unfortunately the company didn't communicate that with him. During his visit, I did in fact start to cry because I waited over 20 years to buy new furniture and these guys that I paid $1,000 came in and damaged it without a care in the world. The mover went to my adult son and said "She is a woman and emotional. What can we do to resolve this?" Moving is stressful and these men came in and damaged my belongings and said nothing to me about it. They waited for me to discover these damages on my own. My adult SON (the mover knew he was my son, they met the previous day) has NOTHING to do my MY MONEY! The mover advised me that there is a company they work with for "rare situations like this " that come in and fix the damages. I said that's what I would like. The following Monday, July 26th I was told by this app that I was MISINFORMED. They don't have any company like this they work with. They also damaged the walls of the place I moved out of, so I had$225 come out of my security deposit for their damages. 6. The move was supposed to take 5-7 hours. It took them 9 hours. If you want the job done efficiently this is not the company to pick. 7. The company asked for a reasonable amount to reimburse me for my damages their staff caused. The amount I gave them was reasonable, and I said IF they disagree with the amount I've said to notify the insurance and have an adjuster review the damages. I was then informed that insurance was EXTRA and I should have requested it with the negotiation of the moving costs. There was no negotiation of moving costs, they let me know their rates and I accepted them. There was no indication I was supposed to ask for insurance, nor was I informed of the possibility of adding insurance. The amount I received from this company was 1/3 of my reasonable request which isn't a fair amount and doesn't include a refund. In summary if you want a company that is in fact polite in most ways, but you pay them to damage all of your belongings, in return they do not fairly compensate you for damages caused by their staff, and can't deal with women - hey give them a try. If you want a company to treat you fairly, protect your belongings, and actually ease the stress of moving this is NOT the company for you. In my opinion, this company still owes me at least $2,225 for damages to my belongings, damages to the rental I moved from, a refund of what I paid them, being treated unfairly because I'm an "emotional woman" the hassle of the entire situation. I never agreed that the amount of money they did pay me resolved this issue. This ENTIRE situation was APPALLING. Save yourself time, money, and stress... RUN from this company!!

Tyrel at Truecare was very quick to respond to my last minute need to move my washer and dryer from my mud room to my garage for a few days while we had a new floor installed and then move them back again. We set up a time and he was great about calling and letting me know when he would be here. On the 2nd half of the job he put us on the schedule at the end of a very busy day on a Friday and still came out about 9:00 pm. He communicated early letting us know his timeline which worked for us. He could have just said it’s too late, but he wanted to get it done on the day we agreed, as his weekend schedule was also busy.
