The following are some FAQs about our services: 1. How soon in advance should we plan to book the caterer for an event or wedding? It is very important to book your date as soon as you can and don't put it off until months before your wedding. Clients typically book caterers 6 to 12 months before the date. In some cases, the clients have no choice and had to book a caterer as early as 3 weeks before the date. As long as we are available, we have no problem catering the wedding. 2. Do you cater for other events besides weddings? Yes, we provide special menus for corporate events, holiday parties, graduations, funerals and luncheons. 3. What is the contacts' role, and how will they be involved during our event? Our director of sales and events, Danielle Gooderum, will guide you through the entire process from when you book your event to the date of your event. Together, we will build a specific and unique menu, schedule a tasting and adjust your proposal up to 2 weeks before your event. At that point, the final proposal is set in stone, and Dani will convey all the details with the lead server, delivering crew and chef to ensure a perfect day! 4. Does Catering by Dani host tastings? Yes! We offer complimentary tastings to the bride and groom. We believe that it is an important step when choosing a caterer. 5. How are the food costs determined? Is it itemized pricing, or is there an all-inclusive flat rate? The proposal is based on a per-person price, which is an all-inclusive package with full service to include all the side accompaniments to the meal, coffee table (freshly brewed all night), cutting and serving of your wedding cake, China place setting and silverware, servers and lead server, chefs, set up and break down. We also finish and display our food on-site, so it is the freshest it can be with a stellar presentation. Everything are cooked from scratch right in our kitchen! 6. What is Catering by Dani's average price range? The dinner pricing starts at $16 per person, which includes all the services mentioned above. The cost varies per catering style with plated at the most expensive, family style in the middle, and buffet style being the least expensive. We are able to do drop-offs with disposables if you want our food versus our services. Any additional cost would be taxed with a 17% service charge (unless doing a drop-off) and with a delivery fee of $295. Some venues will charge an additional catering fee. The price varies per venue. 7. What will Catering by Dani provide in addition to the meal? This includes dinner service, water goblets, water crafts, salt and pepper shakers, bread baskets with butter, salad and salad plates, flatware, dinner china, coffee and water station with coffee cups, water cups, creamer, sugar, and cocktail napkins; cake plates and cake forks. 8. What renting services do you provide? Table linens, napkins, wine glasses, champagne flutes and charger plates are available for rent. Tables, chairs, centerpieces, draping, tents, chair covers and many more items are available through rental companies. 9. Does Catering by Dani handle all table settings? Yes, we take care of the table setup and have no problems helping with lighting candles, menu cards and favors. 10. How many servers will be at my wedding? We have a minimum of one server per 25-35 guests. A wedding of 150 guests with a plated service would have five to six servers and two to three chefs. 11. What will the waitstaff wear? Our standard uniform is black button-up shirt, black pants, black shoes and black apron. 12. Will Catering by Dani be willing to include a recipe we provide, like a special family dish or an appetizer with some sort of sentimental significance? Yes, we have the ability to accommodate almost any type of cuisine or recipe. 13. Can Catering by Dani prepare vegetarian, kosher, kids, or halal meals for just a few of our guests? Yes, we have the ability to accommodate almost any type of cuisine. Please ensure that you communicate this to our owner. 14. Where will the food be prepared? Catering by Dani has a certified commercial kitchen where everything is prepared. We deliver the food hot right before dinner service. 16. Does Catering by Dani have a license? Yes, our business has met health department standards and has liability insurance. The kitchen is inspected every year by the health department to make sure that the food is properly handled and stored. We have a certified food manager at all times. 18. How much is the deposit, and when is the final balance due? The deposit is $500, the 2nd deposit is $500, and the final payment is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.(show more)

Our service stands out because we offer a truly customized experience. While we do offer the option to select from a menu, we mostly create custom menus for each of our clients. It allows for us to fit the food to the mood of the event. We work with specialized diets, and our team has experience is nearly every type of food which allows for a wide variety of possibility in the menu. We also try to stand our by being flexible as possible in order to fit our clients' needs. We can accommodate nearly any diet and have covered such a wide array of events that we feel like we are able to handle nearly any situation and any request! I enjoy being able to be creative with my menus. Being able to use seasonal flavors and explore new concepts really allows me to constantly grow as a chef. I also enjoy interacting with my clients. The overwhelming majority of the people we have worked with over the last couple of years have been awesome, fun-loving people and its always great getting to know people and letting them get to know us. Through out my career I was the sole Nutritionist for my husband. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin Cancer @ the age of 31. This was in 1978, when treatments and therapies for this form of Cancer were just beginning. Hence forth you were a Guinea Pig,and the treatments were almost the Killer not the Cure. Over the years of my husband being in remission, I had to learn a whole new way of cooking.. He lost his taste buds, had a metallic taste in his mouth, had no saliva glands, was lactose intolerant, could not keep on weight, had a whole list of food allergies,and high cholesterol. It was a Whole Bag of Learning what he could tolerate, keeping in mind everything else he was taking for medications. Foods can negate your medications too. This was a very long process, but it prepared for his and my Life as now a Well-Seasoned Chef and experienced in Long-Term Care Meal Planning. Food Allergies, Weight-Management,Cancer Patients, Stress-Eaters,Yo-Yo- dieters,Good Food building Weight and Strength for Long-Term Care patients. I have a lot of on hands experience because I had too learn first hand to help my husband, and still cook for my family. We have 8 smoked meats and 12 side dishes to choose from. We will come to your event and set up the buffet tables, so all you have to do is ring the dinner bell. For bigger events, we will even stay to make sure the buffet line does not go empty. We smoke our fresh pork shoulder for about 14 hours and the brisket for 12 hours (our two most popular meats). The smoked turkey and marinated chicken offer a white meat alternative to those who do not eat pork or red meat. Baked potato casserole is a must, along with cole slaw. The mac n' cheese is a 5-cheese blend, which is so creamy and delightful. Our barbecue beans have been smoked for 3.5 hours. We do not recommend getting deep-fried items for catering, although you will find them on our menu (we have dine in and take out services at our stores). Our sauce is gluten free!(show more)
