Ginny has helped me and my family for many years. As a teacher, she taught my whole family reiki which is a wonderful healing tool. As a counselor and practitioner she helped us through the tragic loss of a loved one and helped me to recover from panic attacks and anxiety. Her meditation cd is wonderful. I could go on and on and could never thank her enough for her support, guidance and professionalism.

About my experience in dealing with Todd Smith ... after having had a successful career as a healthcare administrator and entrepreneur which enabled me to retire at the age of 52, I decided at the age of 65 that is was time for me to "give back" to society and do something constructive. So, I got a job as a school bus driver for the Eden Prairie, MN school system. I love young kids and felt this opportunity would enable me to help young people grow in maturity. After only a few months on the job, I quickly realized that I was failing miserably in dealing with the kids. As a father of three children and six grandkids, I thought I had all the requisite skills and experience to be a good influence on the kids on my bus. I was confused and almost heartbroken to realize that I could not successfully drive the kids back and forth to school while at the same time helping them mature. In truth, many of the kids on my bus were out of control and doing things that were actually counter productive to their growth in maturity. I thought seriously about going back into retirement. I was very close to quitting one day feeling like a total failure when Todd Smith got permission from management to ride along on my bus and help me learn some better skills for managing the children. The kids were misbehaving on my bus. I needed to earn their respect. My goal was to learn some techniques to better control their behavior. Todd coached me in many techniques including positive reinforcement, caring interactions, and the use of logical consequences. I needed to have better boundaries and not let the kids walk all over me - but to do it in a kind way. Todd was very kind to the kids which made me happy but also very direct in this approach ... giving me concrete instructions and homework. It was like a workshop in good parenting skills. As a result, I was able to keep my job and develop a satisfying relationship with the kids on my bus. Todd is a magnificent teacher. His guidance for me, even at the age of 65, was life changing. I can highly recommend Todd to help you achieve your own goals.

Our family sought Anna's expertise during and in the years following my divorce. Without going into great detail, my case was a very complicated and multi-faceted one. There were many factors the 2 children needed help working through, and Anna was amazing with them from beginning to end. Her compassion for her clients is overwhelming, as is her ability to connect and forge a strong trusting relationship. Because I know it was an important element to myself choosing a counselor, I'll add that she also presents herself very well professionally should attorneys and judges become necessary. I would recommend her to anyone seeking family counseling. My children adore her and I am forever grateful for her. We would not be where we are today if not for her guidance and dedication.

I came to Emily Adams for advice about the choices I needed to make involving my career and future endeavors. She responded very quickly and came to have a conversation with me. She was very attentive and listened carefully to the concerns I brought forward. She gave me wonderful advice and provided resources to alleviate my concerns. With her help I feel assured that everything will work out for me. Within a few days, she was willing to assist with cleaning up both my resume and cover letter, and now I feel completely confident with applying and posting both my resume and cover letter. I feel that with her advice and help, it will help me better both personally and professionally.

I was looking for a yoga instructor to help me learn poses as I want to attend a Bikram class (for the first time) in the next couple of weeks. Josh is an excellent instructor. He is thorough and patient and provides guidance and instruction in a positive and calming manner. Not only did Josh, go through all of the poses, he also came to my work place to do so, so it was convenient for me. Josh also offered to go with me to my first class so that I would have a familiar face and make the experience of a Bikram class a fun one. Looking forward to the first Bikram class and other yoga lessons/instruction with Josh. Thanks Josh!!!

When I started coaching with Andy I was burned out on what I felt was a dead end job for me. By the end of coaching I had renewed energy that I could apply to my career, but ultimately ended up shifting gears and landed my dream job. One of the reasons the interview team selected me was because l was "very self aware and comfortable talking about her strengths and and achievements," which wouldn't have been the case if I hadn't spent time with Andy reflecting on my past and what I wanted to accomplish in the future. Coaching really was a game changer for me, and Andybis the absolute best; I can't recommend him highly enough.

About

I am a business, career and life coach, specializing in energizing visioning and strategic planning journeys designed to optimize and obtain individual, team and organizational commitments. What makes what I do stand out is how it's approached. It is approached from a shared prospective. I identify clients' passions and talents and seek opportunities for them to be combined in a way that leverages their energy and capabilities. Examples include the following: 1) I developed and facilitated workshop experiences for clients (e.g. fanatical leadership, personal leadership and goals to action) designed to generate leadership insights that lead to action. 2) I hold one-on-one sessions with clients in various stages of transition, including job change, divorce, graduation from school, etc. 3) I consulted with two entrepreneurs to develop and implement business plans for their new businesses that led to increased productivity, reduced costs and greater demand for their services.

About

CareerSherpas was founded on the idea that where one person can improve their life dramatically, everybody deserves the same chance to succeed. What's with the name? Sherpas are the native mountaineering guides of the Himalayas who have been relied on for successful ascent of the highest peaks for generations. Their daily work as climbing and terrain experts allowed many expeditions to succeed against impressive odds. I took on the moniker CareerSherpas to express what I look to achieve for my clients: Reaching the pinnacle of personal success. My own career has had ups and downs, but I've learned a lot about the trajectories that can be set if you aim high and want to share that success and knowledge with others. What makes CareerSherpas different? CareerSherpas was founded on the idea that where one person can improve their life dramatically, everybody deserves the same chance to succeed. I don't live in an ivory tower; I work in the real world and see every day the trials, tribulations, and enjoyment that work can bring when you're doing what you enjoy. I came to do this because people often struggle with knowing and accepting what they really want to do or even realizing that they aren't doing it. I know what it means to develop and prosper in a professional career with a balanced and busy life, not because I've studied it, but because I live it every day. Who am I? My name is Peter Fitzgerald, and I am an ex-patriot Australian information technology professional with a broad array of experience in all the many facets of IT, but that doesn't really start to explain how I wound up offering to help people with their careers, does it? In a lot of ways, it does! I started out helping friends, family, and colleagues discover opportunities for growth, and in doing so, discovered a knack for connecting people with the things they really wanted to do and finding ways to help them do it. I believe in practicing what I preach, and have consistently been applying the same techniques and approaches to my own career that I use to help others. While my results may not be typical, I have been able to consistently improve my situation over the past seven years and get involved in work that invigorates and engages me. I want to share this success and help you set and achieve goals that make your life better. Contact me, and let me help you find a fulfilling, successful career for you.
