I have been working with Bennett for about 2 months now and am very happy I contacted him. I am pretty new to fitness and have never been a regular gym goer. I always had some excuse in the past, but I became tired of not having the energy to keep up with my kids. Bennett has helped me with my mindset, confidence and persistence in working toward my fitness goals. I was a bit nervous to contact a personal trainer since I’ve never really gone to the gym with any regularity and didn’t know what to expect (plus Jillian Michaels and trainers like her scare me), but Bennett has been the very opposite of those stereotypical personal trainers. For one, he is an excellent listener and wants to know your goals and your body’s trouble areas. He is careful not to push too hard and is very keen on safety. Most importantly, he does things the right way, with the whole picture of fitness and diet and proper form and safety. He will meet you at whatever stage you are at and work with you to increase your health and fitness. One of his favorite expressions is “For now,” as in “Bennett, I am having a hard time doing this exercise.” “For now,” he’ll say, pointing me toward a fitter future. I see a lot of the reviews are from people who have been working with Bennett for 4+ years, so as a newbie I am speaking to people just now considering (or who have hesitated to consider for whatever reason) working with a personal trainer. Bennett is an excellent person to get you on your way.
Very courteous staff that are as invested in the effort as I am. I have not started yet, but I can't wait to get working on fitness and nutrition plans. Time will tell!
I've been training with Chris for only a week and I'm honestly blown away! He's very knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness! Being that he's young you would think that he's been doing this for at least 10 years. What made me decide to go with Chris is that he was interested in what I was all about and the goals I wanted to reach. He catered my nutrient plan to the things I would normally eat (obviously the bad things were a no no) and I was surprised at how easy I was able to stick with it! I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store for me over the next several weeks!!

I have been training at Train Your Way Fitness for 2 1/2 months now between 2-3 times a week. I can visibly see changes in my body and my endurance. I have been training with Michelle Carlson and she has pushed my body to its limits which is something I was never able to do on my own. Michelle has always been on time with her session times and makes sure I get my full value out of my time with her. She even has created my own personal book so I can keep track of my progress and my health statistics. If you are looking for someone who is friendly and kind, but can push you when you're not giving 100%, I'd recommend Michelle!

I've always been highly skeptical of trainers. I haven't trained with a ton of different people, but I don't think I've ever found one that I felt super confident that they knew what they were talking about. Luckily, I started training with Rachael, and she changed that! Her knowledge of fitness and the human body is so deep and well rounded. She can help you with your fitness from every angle that you could want, be it working around an injury or your diet. She knows how to give you a workout that will push your limits. I'd say training with her is great for so many reasons, but I think the best thing she brings to the table is her attitude. She's always so enthusiastic, encouraging when you give her 100%, and she never made me feel any pressure to do anything more than my best. Rachael is so passionate and loves what she does, and it definitely shows! I know training with her helped me to push me to new heights. Every session was a challenge, but it was fun and rewarding! I have been working with Jordan for eight months. From the beginning he has been supportive, professional, responsible and a very positive mentor. His enthusiam for excersise, fitness and nutrition is paramount to his effectiveness. He doesn't need to be tough or overbearing to achieve results and each time we meet he greets me with a smile and genuine interest in how I feel. Lisa Thompson was very fun to work with for my 50 mile trail race. She would email my upcoming week's workouts on Sundays, which contained details on how hard to push myself, if I could switch days for workouts, and even more importantly why I should do certain pieces on certain days. She had a great plan for me to accomplish my goal of finishing, she was prompt in answering my questions about workouts, and was very encouraging! When I started to get nervous or doubt myself, she reminded me of all the hard work I'd put in and boosted my confidence! I can't wait to work with Coach Thompson again!
I have no complaints about Hoke Fitness! He works so hard for each and every one of his clients. He takes pride in their success and puts his heart and soul into everything he does. He is very professional and made me feel great while working out with him. He has responded to my questions at all hours, even the silly ones. He really is a great trainer, and trust me I've had a few. He has never let me down. I would recommend him to anyone!
I have been one of Michelle's clients for about 7 years doing both individual and small group training. I currently train with here 1 on 1 twice a week and am part of a very fun small group once a week. Michelle is very good at assessing a person's current fitness level, goals, and motivation level and creates plans tailor-made for her clients. She is very adept at motivating me and knows just how hard to push without being too over the top. I went from doing squats with only body weight to doing them with a 75 lb. barbell on my shoulders! She is extremely knowledgeable not to mention has a great personality which makes working out fun, especially when you see results. Since she is also a nutrition counselor, she offers helpful advice in that department as well. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle!
