Introduction
Hello, My name is Samuel York and I am a personal trainer who is serving the Kansas City area. I hold a bachelor's degree in exercise science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning and weight management. I love health and fitness as it is a passion of mine and I want to help others achieve that type of lifestyle as well. I am a trainer who pushes my clients to their maximum abilities, but also to where they are not overwhelmed. I make a custom training program for each client based on his/her goals, current fitness levels, gender, age, body composition and body mass index. I also serve as a nutrition consultant.

I have been working with Sam developing a healthy and more active lifestyle. He has helped me lose 28 inches, 11% body fat and 36 pounds! His support and encouragement has shown me I can do a lot more than I ever thought possible. I have some physical limitations, but Sam was able to adapt the exercises to accommodate them very easily. Having him by my side gives me confidence and reduces the chances of injury. There is no worries about setting up the weights or the machines, he does it for me! Making the call to set up the first appointment was the hardest part of the whole process, I just show up and do the work he has planned. Thank you, Sam, for pushing me on the journey of discovering my strengths!

Sam is an excellent trainer. He is knowledgeable, motivating, and accommodating to those who might need to modify exercises due to injury. Sam pushes his clients to reach their goals while also teaching them proper form so they are able to perform the exercises or use machines when not in a session with him. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking to get in better shape. From beginners to seasoned exercisers, Sam will help you reach your fitness goals and lead a more active and healthy lifestyle.

I have been working out with Sam for just over 2 years. He is a fun trainer to work with. I like his diversity programming and how he is always challenging me to work harder than I think I am capable of. I have muscle tone that I have never had before and continue to make improvements.
