Jeff responded quickly to our need for some plumbing help. He came equipped with the materials to do the job, and went way beyond our expectations on all levels. When looking at his profile, I did see he got one bad review because he hadn't shown up for an appointment. When I asked him about it, he said the appointment was on the very day he found out his mom unexpectedly passed. He said he was in shock, dropped everything and left to be with family. Enough said. Jeff's a standup guy and we plan to use him for more plumbing help and other house jobs — he's very skilled. Highly recommend.

We chose Alex based on his prompt responses on Thumbtack, his previous reviews, and his prices which all seemed great. He was always polite and professional while working to replace a single sink vanity with a double and 2 toilets. There is a "but." His caulk work around the base of the toilets was less than fair (see photos). He left the removed floor molding lying with a mess of debris on the floor of the bathroom for us to clean up. We'd said we'd trim down the molding and replace it but the mess along with it should have been cleaned up. When we expressed our disappointment over the caulk job he promised twice to come back "the next day" to redo it which would've been best. Instead he was a no-show and we haven't heard from him. We'd even asked several times for a bid to replace the kitchen sink and some other plumbing work but he never did that either. I cannot recommend him for anything except the plumbing work he did to connect the second sink of the double vanity.
