What do you love about your job?
I love being a writer, an editor and a tutor because in today's world of technology, English grammar, spelling, and sentence structure have deteriorated. I enjoy editing writers' works because many times I end up learning about a new topic or exploring a new world while helping my client express him or herself better. By tutoring students who care enough to seek help, I am helping build lifelong learners who want to enjoy learning. Writing helps me reach large audiences who want to learn more about topics I am an expert in. Most importantly, I love hearing my clients tell me I have made a difference in their lives.
What or who inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because I love helping others and enjoy the flexibility being my own boss offers. I started out looking for only editing clients and expanded to include writing and tutoring. I felt these services fit well together and allowed me to maximize use of my skills. By being my own boss, I can be selective of how I spend my time. I also enjoy being able to work from any location.
