Recognizing and identifying mobility restrictions as well as postural movement compensations that are causing pain or future pain.The human body is so complicated, the average Certified Personal Trainer, most likely doesn't know the complex compensations, the body will use. It took a Traumatic Brain Injury, lying on my "death bed" when I was 20 and in college, to figure out something I loved and had a passion for helping others reach their goals. Once a premier athlete to then rehabbing my neurologically challenged body. Working with several disabled clients over the years, and seeing them do things that they'd never seen before as far as reversing physical limitations! Proving to them that this motion or that exercise can be done, just make sure you're firing the proper muscle and not compensating! THERE IS SOOOO MUCH MORE TO WORKING OUT THAN GOING THROUGH THE MOVEMENTS!!!!!!!(show more)

What or who inspired you to start your own business?
I have been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years, teaching a wide variety of GroupX classes throughout the St. Louis area, from small gyms to corporations. I've been asked to train at a number of locations, but I love working on my own business, designing my own hours and schedule. It's better for my clients and for me, so it is definitely a win-win situation!
