Mr. Harden is wonderful. He's very knowledgeable and patient. This is by far the best option for music lessons.
My son and daughter have taken piano lessons with Ms. Francis for 2 and 3 years, respectively, and have thrived. Ms. Francis has such a patient, organized, and direct approach perfect for children. Her teaching methods are also very personalized for each child's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. We love Ms. Francis! I can't tell you how much pride I felt listening to my kids play at the spring recital.
My son loves his violin lessons. Robin is friendly and fun

Working with Elizabeth has definitely been an eye opener to the piano world and what piano really is all about. She is very well informed in the material she is teaching me, and she definitely makes it fun and easy to understand. She challenges me to the best of my abilities, and even a little further for a challenge. I look forward to every lesson.
I had the pleasure of working with Lasharae for two and half years. She has great knowledge of music and the understanding of the individual learner. Lasharae is a great instrumentalist. Through her love of music, I was able to gain more respect for music, respect for her as an individual and humility for the program. In addition, Lasharae made it fun!
Students in a music school, such as Charlotte Academy of Music, have opportunities to participate in ensembles, master classes and many performances. In short, students who study at a music school receive a more well-rounded music education experience. Being part of a musical community is also highly motivating!

I offer flute instruction to beginners and intermediate flute players and those who have never played before. I have been playing the flute since the age of 10, with a total of 20 years under my belt. I was First Chair all throughout my high school career and even served as Drum Major in my Senior year of high school. I also played with Duke Symphony for a year. I am skilled in the technical aspects of playing the flute; however, I enjoy playing and teaching the creative side of playing the flute. I have taught students as young as 8 and as old as 60+. So, don't be shy... there are no limits.
